I really want to gate keep this place, BUT at the same time, I want them to get aaalllllll the…read morebusiness so they stay open. AMAZING. INCREDIBLE. The women that I have encountered over my time here are all miracle workers. I've gone in with neck pain and leave feeling brand new, I've gone in at the cusp of an anxiety attack and left more relaxed than I've ever been. The atmosphere, the employees, the music, everything is the perfect recipe for a relaxing massage. When you walk in it is very dark, especially the more sunny it is outside so be prepared! Once your eyes take a moment to adjust, you are met with a few couches and some water as well as a menu of services on the wall. They also have some pricing pamphlets on the coffee table between the couches and magazines - I've never needed them as I've never had a long wait, even without making an appointment. I usually opt for the package which includes 40 minute deep tissue massage with the 30 minute reflexology for 35 dollars. This includes a foot soak, reflexology foot massage plus legs, back, arms, and neck massage. The only downfall is that their lack of staff causes the employee to step away when someone walks in or if the phone rings. This means mid-massage they may step out to greet someone for a moment or two. These are usually VERY brief interactions, one or two minutes tops, before they are back and apologizing for stepping out. I completely get it - when you're a small locally owned business you have to make things work the best you can. The fact they pause a massage to greet someone and see what they need then give them a wait time is okay with me. If you're inpatient or not understanding that they are running a small family business then find a big box corporation that has a dedicated receptionist. As for me, I will never go anywhere else for a massage!

Can't speak more highly of this place. Haven't had a…read moremassage in 2 years, but used to and really should be getting a deep tissue session at least monthly. My whole right side finally seized up this week, so I ended up booking a session here in San Antonio while visiting family. Holly is such an amazing therapist. She found all the problem areas (even the ones I didn't tell her about) and worked on them tirelessly until they actually gave way. I've got mobility back that I haven't felt in ages. And she's so calming and sweet, even while being so beastly effective. It amazes me how relaxing she made such an intense beating up. I feel like I've been put through a pasta machine. I'm so sad this place and Holly aren't back home, instead. I would absolutely go to her regularly. I think today finally convinced me I need to make this a routine part of my self-care now. Definitely, definitely recommend.

I prefer Chinese massage because it's rooted in acupressure. The Bad: I don't know if this was a one time thing but the massage table's head rest seemed like body odor. Really strong and overwhelming smell that made me gag several times. The masseuse placed clean tissues on top of the face rest but the bad odor could still permeate through. I should've mentioned this to the masseuse but I just suffered in silence. The massage was expensive. I thought I was paying for a shorter session so the price would be reduced but it wasn't. I also had cupping done so maybe that's why the price was so high, not sure. The cupping was painful but seems like I needed it? It left deep purple marks that faded in a few weeks. The Good: The masseuse was very strong. The massage felt deep which is what I wanted. It wasn't the relaxing type of massage which is what I expected. I was treated right away, no waiting. The decor was nicely designed, with a traditional Asian theme, Chinese artwork created ambiance. The masseuse was a nice lady who genuinely seemed to want to help relieve my back pain.

Upon entrance, I was immediately greeted by Tan, my masseuse. She was super sweet and accommodating. Filled out some normal history questionnaire paperwork and then was directed to a large room. The Thai massage table was huge and had bars on top for the masseuse to be able to hold onto, for pressure walk massage. Ok to keep underwear on. Soothing music was on in the background. She performed a Thai/combo one hour massage. The best massage ever! A combo of her weight, whether lightly walking or sitting on the back of your body, then deep tissue using her hands, and lastly stretching the upper and lower body. Deep tissue was eased out with strokes to smooth out the muscles. Practically every large muscle group was massaged or stretched. And she frequently checked on me during the massage regarding depth of pressure and if I was ok. She found a sore spot in both my shoulders. Man ! super painful, but with pain comes healing. She also applied some balm to the area and showed me a stretch to practice at home. Check them out ! $83 for an hour massage
