They sent someone out that charged me $675 and didn't even fix my issue. When I called him to return, he said he was sending someone else but they never showed because the guy didn't say if he would pay him. Turns out it's some random guy off the street that he met! Eventually the other guy came out and charged me an additional $300 to fix the issue we had all along. I called this business line again, which is a call service, to try to talk to a supervisor but no one has called back after numerous days. They obviously don't care and will continue to scam people UPDATED REVIEW TO 2 STARS: I'm updating this review to 2 stars mainly because the original subcontractor they sent out refunded me the $675 he charged me for subpar locks and service. I contemplated taking this review down, but need some more time to think mainly due to the misinformation in their review reply and frankly the lack of care from K4. K4 does not employ their own workers, they send out subs. The subs don't even collect payment for K4. They collect for themselves and their own businesses. I called the original sub they sent on Friday when the door was no longer working again, just as he told me to on Wednesday. The latch needing replacing instead of the locks themselves, which he didn't properly assess. When I asked him to come out, he contacted someone that doesn't work for him or K4. I reached out to K4 twice to resolve this issue on Friday, in which they told me they're a call center and they would forward my issue to a supervisor and they'd call me back (surprise they didn't! And still haven't upon this review or their response to it.) i submitted the proof of the $300 additional payment I was subjected to by second person that came out to the original sub in which he then refunded me my paid amount (and asked me to remove my review and I would have if it weren't for K4's awful review response). I don't owe sending anything to K4 if they can't even reach out to me personally to discuss this issue and decide to spread misinformation instead of confirming with the customer on what actually happened.

He…read morebrought two options based off of our phone call but the one was insanely out of budget for what I needed. That being said I feel like I kind of got ripped off. I had two kwickset punch pad locks installed and and each of those doors had two key slots so they made all four keys match. This was my bill with supposed big discounts on everything included: $20 service call $450 for two combo locks (they retail for about $100 each online) $30 rekey '4' locks (really they should have just been making the 2 bottom keys match the two new ones on top I believe) 2 keys (shouldn't that have been 4 since I bought 2 locks and rekeyed two more?) $500 total. I had to supply all of the batteries which thankfully I just happen to have purchased or I don't know what would have happened since I mentioned I had a deadline for time that we were up against. I said repeatedly that I wanted things to be secure but as easy to use as possible. After installation he explained a design flaw. In order to change or ad codes, or replace batteries, the whole unit has to be unscrewed from the doors because when you lift the plastic cover you can't actually access the internals. For $500 I really don't think I should have to do that and if I would have known up front I would have either picked a different lock or at least programmed in several guest codes. Since this cost almost 3x what it would have if I had done it myself I'm a little frustrated that I don't at least love the way the locks function. Next time I will handle things differently, lesson learned.
