He turned off the hot water on my bathroom sink and said he needed a part and would be back next day. Many phone calls have been made to the business by both myself and the warranty company, all unanswered and I have not seen nor heard from him since. He seems to have disappeared and his company too! Needless to say I do not recommend this company, if indeed it is a company anymore. I do hope Eric is OK though. Had to give 1 star to get this reported but do not think it deserves one. Still trying to get my $$ back from the warranty company which is another story I guess!

I was required to get a Moen Flow valve installed in order to get carried for home insurance. This…read moredevice comes with a supposedly *free installation* that is booked through a phone app called Frontdoor. Frontdoor cancelled my appointment for installation and said they won't have availability for another two weeks. So I called Moen to get a listing of authorized plumbers and will request a reimbursement for the installation from Moen (thanks Frontdoor for not doing your job). Apparently I am better at booking appointments than they are. Maybe I should apply to work there? Although I am partially covered up to $300 by Moen for reimbursment, I had to go a little over to book Original Plumbing. In comparison, a competitor quoted $500 more for the same service. In all fairness, Joe had to do a little extra work to make sure that I would be compliant and not have issues with Moen in the future. That alone is a life saver giving me peace of mind. I already had to get a power outlet on the outside of the house installed for this supposedly *free* device (after purchase) that is costing me a fortune. But at least Joe and Original Plumbing helped keep my costs as low as possible and I should be in good standing with my home insurance coverage. Joe was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I am happy that I chose him and it is nice to finally not have this nightmare project looming over me anymore since he completed it successfully.

Our last plumber messed up the line going from our dishwasher to the water supply, so we have not…read morebeen able to run our dishwasher for several years. We use it as a dish rack (token Asian family style). BB wanted to get a new dishwasher, since the old one had become nasty from not being able to run it. We also needed a high loop to be done, since we do not have an air gap. She also wanted to change out our white kitchen farmstyle sink for a black one, which would hopefully lessen her OCD. We would also change out the sink fixtures at the same time to gold ones. Our previous plumber gave us a quote which almost made me pass out from being so high, so I asked around and my close acquaintance referred me to Joe with Original Plumbing. I contacted him with my project, and he promptly got back to me with an itemized quote. The pricing was very fair for the scope of work. I contacted him again to schedule an appointment for the next week. Him and his employee showed up on time. They were respectful, courteous, and extremely competent. You can tell Joe is a master of the craft, and he let me know he has been a plumber for 20 years plus. It definitely shows in his work and the pride he takes in it! He completed everything and we couldn't be happier with the results. I already have another project lined up for my bathroom and will be using Joe exclusively from here on out. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work done!

Our original American Standard shower mixing valve from when the house was first built in 1967…read morefailed catastrophically on New Year's Day (2025) and wouldn't shut off. We had no choice but to shut off the water for the whole house as there was no way to turn off the water just to the shower without cutting through a wall. We were able to get an appointment the next day and Mason showed up right on time. He was able to diagnose the issue, find and pick up the required parts locally, including a new chrome wall trim kit and handle, cut off the old handle (was frozen as a result of 58 years of hard water) with a saw, rebuild, reinstall, and seal the whole thing in less than 3 hours. There's absolutely no way I could have done that myself. I was convinced that it would require cutting through the wall and was expecting to have to pay a lot of money to do a full valve and piping replacement. Mason was able to do all the work in place without having to cut tile or plaster. I am extremely happy with the result and the cost I think was quite reasonable considering the time and effort it took to fix it.

I'm writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent plumbing service visit…read more First, your associate arrived without a camera and only had a snake tool, which proved inadequate to diagnose the root cause of the issue. He later attempted to schedule a follow-up appointment with a crew equipped with a camera, but I had expected that to be included in the original visit. As a result, I declined the additional appointment. Second, during the visit, your associate appeared to be stalling and wasting time. He repeatedly attempted to use the snake in the same clean-out five times. After the third attempt, I asked whether we should try an alternative approach since it clearly wasn't working. He responded that he did not have any other tools available. Finally, the entire visit took approximately 2.5 hours, which felt excessive given that only one tool was used and no progress was made. I even offered to assist by helping move equipment to speed things up. It should not have taken that long to determine that the available equipment was insufficient to resolve the issue. As a result of the service visit: 1. I did not get the pipes unclogged 2. I did not learn about the reason why the pipe had a blockage 3. I had to ask your associate to finish the job because it was obvious he was stalling for time on a Friday afternoon. 4. I had to pay $235 for the visit I would not recommend others to use GPS plumbing for your plumbing issues.
