My lower denture broke. I went in January to get new one made. They insisted I had to replace all. They quoted me one price and then said it would cost another $120 for x-rays. It was a hard financial decision for a retiree, but I had it done. Lower denture never fit properly and I returned for adjustment. Less than a month later I had to return again. The dentist, Dr. Musashi, was rude, kept interrupting me when I tried to explain I was in pain and felt like the lower denture was not properly made. I was not allowed to finish a sentence. I had a note for reference, but she dismissed it rudely with, "We do it OUR WAY, not yours." Her bullying and tone escalated to the point of it being elder abuse. I am nearly 90 years old and was being treated like a child. Even at my age I won't allow anyone to roll over me in such a disrectful manner. When she interrupted repeatedly and raised her voice to me, I responded by saying, "I need to talk to you please don't interrupt me." She then said loudly, "GO AHEAD AND TALK!" When I did, she bolted out of room screaming and running "Call the police." I was dumbfounded. I just got up and left. No resolution. Is this the way a doctor is supposed to conduct themselves? Broke my parcel and they were going to charge me about as much to repair it as I paid of it and i purchased the best one less than 6 months

Everyone was pleasant at my arrival. I filled out my paper work to have an extraction. The lady at the front didn't even glance at my insurance card when she said hey didn't accept it. She did say she would help by showing how to make a claim. I was called back for my xray. Then they told me I needed to get a bone graft. I told them I didn't have the cash for that. So they charged me $325 for just the extraction. After having my tooth pulled, I was sent home with a prescription for Tylenol and no help with my insurance. These people must enjoy their cruelty, because they're all smiles about it. read more

Cassie and Dr kruse, are by far the best, they make sure your dentures are completely comfortable and that your satisfied, they take there time and if you have questions they don't make you feel uncomfortable or anything! My mother went to have teeth pulled and fitted for dentures. They completely took advantage of her. They doubled what her bill should have been and did not honor the prices listed on ads and their website. She's in her 70's and didn't know the difference. Other family members have used them but were not treated this way, so assumed she would be okay in their care. The doctor that extracted her teeth was very rude and forceful with her. She was actually upset when I picked her up. Shame on you AFFORDABLE DENTURES. Taking advantage of elderly people is inexcusable! I will never recommend this facility to anyone. They never answer their phones. I have been trying to make an appointment to have my denture ( that I purchased from them) adjusted for over two weeks now. I have tried every day to call. No answer, no voicemail. I tried to book an online appointment. No response. I went through this the last time I tried to book an appointment. I had to drive 1/2 hour to the office to make that appointment. This is an ongoing problem at this location. I am not the only one who has this issue. If you need dentures, I would find another facility. read more

I'm not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write about this experience. Upfront I'll say the staff was fairly pleasant and reasonably friendly so we had no problems there. The problems lies mainly with how this facility is run. In a sentence, it is a denture factory/sweat-shop. The first bad experience was when I tried for two weeks to get someone from Affordable Dentures on the phone to make an appointment for my 80-year old mother to have new dentures made. I left many messages with no returned call. I finally got someone on the phone and made the appointment on a day my wife had her doctor's appointment 30-minutes away from Affordable Dentures in Commerce, GA. The only things I was told to prepare us for the upcoming terrible experience were we had a 9:00AM appointment and we could pick up my mother's dentures the same afternoon. Sound good so far; please read on. My mother, my wife, the dog and I all loaded up for the two-hour drive. We arrived at 08:30 AM for a 09:00 AM appointment. Still waiting in the Affordable Dentures waiting room at 10:30AM, I told my wife to depart for her 11:15 doctor's appointment. My mother was finally called at 10:45 to have her impressions taken for her new dentures. At this time, they made my mother pay ($1395) for her new dentures. Read on and you'll see why they make you pay upfront rather than when you actually get your dentures. After having her impressions taken, my mother was told to return again at 12:30. The problem was my mother and I had nowhere to go since my wife is still at her doctor's appointment with the car. To make matters worse, they kept my mother's old dentures so now she's walking around with no teeth so we remained in the waiting room. My mother was finally called back at 1:15PM (wife returns with car and fast-food lunch at 1:20). The dentist only checked how she liked the denture teeth but they had not made the actual gum portion of the dentures. She was told to return again between 3:00 - 4:00 PM. My mother (now with her old dentures) and I eat a cold lunch around 1:45PM. Thinking we could somehow escape this torture and get away before 4:00PM if we returned early, we returned to the waiting room at 2:30PM. My mother's name was finally called at 6:00PM (that's right 6:00PM). We departed Affordable Dentures at 6:30PM for the return two-hour drive home. After all this, my mother was not pleased with her new dentures because they weren't fitting well and the teeth had a lot of hard residue on the teeth. After two attempts by the dental assistant to correct these issues ,she was told to try them for a while and make an appointment for a free adjustment if needed. There were many people in the waiting room with us throughout the day waiting a vey long time to have their new dentures adjusted. It's difficult to imagine someone would knowingly subject themselves to this type of abuse. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. While Affordable Dentures is much less expensive than going to a regular dentist's office, their dentures come with another kind of price. I think the experience could have come closer to being worth the day's aggregation if the dentures were made well but they were not. Because of the horrible experience and the fear of a repeated experience, my mother refuses to go back. Because they don't fit well and the teeth have some sort of residue on them that won't come off, she cannot use her new dentures. I have no doubt we would have given up on the entire process sometime during the day if it were not for fact my mother had already paid earlier in the morning. I would not recommend them to anyone unless they are okay to going through this experience. read more
