When I realized it had been two years I figured I'd better get with the program. I checked my insurance for offices close to home and Dr. Batton's name came up. I could literally walk here if I wasn't a lazy bum, so decided to give them a shot. From the moment I spoke with Gena to schedule my first appointment I knew I'd love the place. She was extremely helpful, upbeat and genuinely nice. When I arrived she knew who I was before I said anything, so apparently she has ESP (or she's intelligent and aware enough to put two and two together). I waited just a few minutes before Christie, the dental hygienist called me back. On the phone I told Gena that I had spinal surgery 6 weeks ago and Christie was already aware of my history. She was concerned about my level of comfort and continued to inquire throughout the visit. Christie was very easy to get along with and did such a great job cleaning my teeth. I love the way they feel right now :) The dentist I saw was Dr. Wilkinson. When he came in we talked for a moment before he examined my teeth and I found him to be both professional and caring. Everything went so smoothly! I truly love this place and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

When you find the best, the commute is more than worth it! I've always been a high-anxiety dental patient--honestly, I used to dread going to the dentist. But that all changed with FWCFD. Now I don't even think twice. I actually look forward to my appointments (weird, I know!). The team here just makes you feel that comfortable and cared for. From the amazing front desk staff to the top-tier hygienists and doctors, everyone goes above and beyond to make every visit smooth and stress-free. Special shoutout to Kelsi and Denell, two of the kindest and most thorough hygienists out there. They're patient, gentle, and always put me at ease. Over the years, I've had everything from fillings and whitening to root canals and a major back molar implant--and through it all, FWCFD has been there with compassion, professionalism, and zero judgment (even when I missed an appointment in college due to a hangover or flat tire). They've even helped me navigate insurance issues more than once. FWCFD is the gold standard. I wouldn't trust my dental care to anyone else, and I recommend them to everyone I know.
