I went to get a crown replaced and did not have a good experience. The crown that I had on before stayed on for over 10 years, and I went, and they put on my crown which fell off within six months while I was eating. I got charge, but OK, then, while I was flossing, which I'm always careful, the tooth came out again, I went back and the lady I talked to which I believe was the manager on duty told me I would not be charged a consultation fee, and I asked again to confirm that I wouldn't be charged for anything, consultation, or any other free, and she said yes. When I went back, they charge me and I asked her what happened saying she never said that and she was going to have a charge me and if it falls out again, I'd have to pay a lab fee of almost $200. I just don't think it's fair. I have to pay all these extra fees for when my tooth comes out when I did nothing wrong. Seems like they didn't do their job right and I am paying the consequences of paying hundreds of dollars more. read more

My boyfriend is 26 and had a painful wisdom tooth coming in. He couldn't get in to see his regular dentist for two weeks but was inn excruciating pain. Dr. Kim is nice however, her condescending staff makes her practice look bad. They speak ill of patients while in the chair. They practically run her office and her. Any question of her work bothers them. The place is never clean. You would be concerned too if saw the same dust ball sitting in the corner each time you visit. Save yourself a headache and pay a little more especially for dental cosmetic procedures. I would not recommend this practice for those services. Stick to general dentistry at this place. My appointment was at 10:30, they didn't take me back till 11:10. Juan did X-rays and took me to my room. I wait another 30mins to see the dentist. She takes a look at my teeth then leaves. I wait another 20mins for front desk to go over payment options. Then they proceed to tell me my insurance is expired. So your telling me I sat here for almost 2hrs for nothing. I went to the Jacksboro Highway location. First you might have to step over a homeless person. There seems to be several who camp out in the strip center the location is in. Next this location is a lie-its not 7 day dental because its closed Sat. Despite the name, the hours posted on the door, the scrolling neon sign saying open, the phone voice mail, and their google listing all state they are open 7 days. I needed a tooth pulled. What you find ONLY after the extraction is that they refuse to provide adequate pain meds after the procedure. Forty years of my life if you had a tooth pulled you got Vicodin to deal with the post extraction pain. No they give you a prescription for the same as 4 ibuprofen which is what an MD prescribes for a tendon tear. I left with no post extraction care instructions verbal or written. I was too freaked out about the pain I knew from experience was headed my way over the next few days to even notice. I had gotten antibiotics days before the extraction as it was starting to abscess. I was refused more of those. I had 2 days left at that time. As I headed to the store for the prescription I realized I also had been given no gauze pads for the bleeding just the one in my mouth. SO now Im scrambling to find them on the store shelves. Naturally my prescription wasnt ready despite me asking them to send it over well before I left. When they tried the pharmacy wasnt open and they thought a voice mail prescription would work. Had to call the office to get them to redo it. Meanwhile Im having to stuff my mouth with gauze pads I havent paid for yet. Fortunately the loss prevention team didnt come out and bother me. Two days later the pain got worse while I was at work but being at work I wasnt too focused on it was gradually getting worse. I get off at 9pm so after getting something to eat the pain spikes. 3 800mg ibuprofens wouldnt even touch if I was willing to take that much at once. Over the course of the next 2 hours it gets worse and worse. I realize the pain is so bad I will never be able to get to sleep and I wont be able to work so I head to the ER. I have no choice as there are no pharmacies open that late. SO I get more antibiotics, a mouth rinse to help prevent infection, and a drug to deaden nerve pain. So basically if money is your ONLY consideration and are willing to tolerate substandard care by all means choose 7Day Dental. read more

Do not go to this dentist! These people lie just to get money out of you. It's appalling. I went in for a cleaning and was told I had multiple cavities. I could not believe this because I take very good care of my teeth. I was told I would need multiple fillings and it would cost an arm and a leg. I gave in and had them fill in one cavity only for it to come out in a few days and I had to go back and get it "fixed". They never fixed it. They created a gap between my molars that was not there before and now every time I eat, food gets stuck there. I went to another dentist and they told me I didn't have any cavities. They also helped fix the gap but I had to pay out of pocket so ultimately I paid extra for this dentist's bad work. Also, during my cleaning, the dentist hurt me very badly. I was in pain. She got frustrated with me, was very rude and had someone else finish my cleaning. I had never experienced that much pain before during a cleaning. At previous dentists, the hygienists were always the ones doing the cleanings so I was very surprised when the dentist started cleaning my teeth. The office staff is stupid. They kept telling me my insurance was on a years waiting period and I had to pay out of pocket. I called Cigna and was told NO it was not, my employer had waved that waiting period. I figured the staff was probably just to lazy and didn't wanna do the last min apt fill in so I made apt with the lake worth office. However the Azle office told the Lake Worth office that waiting period BS. I literally had call Cigna in office so they could verify Azle office was incorrect/stupid just to be seen. Everything about this place was horrible! First they kept telling me my husband was on a "waiting period" on my insruance. I called my insurance to find out why and they said they didn't show he was on a waiting period. Called the dentist back about 3 times before that got settled. When we finally got him in he needed 2 root canals. It took 5 hours!! My husband was in such pain. The dentist that was working on him was in training and it wasn't until I 4 hours in when I said we were just going to go somewhere else that they offered to buy me McDonald's for lunch since we had been there so long. I don't normally do yelp, but I had to for this one. I've been going to 7 days dental for many years now. My dental insurance has not changed(company or percentage wise) in the pass 3 years. Today I was there for the regular 6 months exam and cleaning, never have to pay. They have been good of letting you know the fee/cost before they proceed with the service. Well, today was different. I don't mind the 30 minutes waiting on the exam chair to see the doctor, never did by the way. What got me was the assistant told me the doctor recommended deep cleaning, which will be over $600. I don't have the best insurance, so I assume that's the norm. I declined the deep clean and asked for regular cleaning. The assistant came back and says we can't do that. So they denied me my routine cleaning today and then without telling me in advance, they charged me $75(see photo) for this visit which is my basic dental exam and x-rays; I remind you, always no cost for for 6 months check up and cleaning the last 3 years. I whole hearted believe that they are not practicing the best interest for the patients, but for the money. read more

The Dr asked me to leave a yelp review so here ya go. NEVER come here. I found this place one morning by fluke, as i was in extreme pain with an infected tooth and needed something done ASAP. It was a tooth i had a root canal on a few years ago, to save the tooth they had to pop the crown off, and basically re-drill the root canal in whats called a retreat. They send me home with antibiotics and pain meds, tell me to return in a week. I do, the infection is still there, this of course is not their fault. The doc i saw that day (and never saw again) says they cannot put the "post" in my mouth, and a permanent crown, until the infection is gone. Come back a week later, they take me back, numb me up, and put the post in THEN x-ray to see if the infection is still there. Guess what wasnt gone? So now they have inserted something into my infected tooth, something the other doc was pretty adamant that shouldnt happen. Come back in another week, they dont even take me back and tell me the infection is still there and to come back in 2 months. Now if this is normal procedure i will take this review back, but i highly doubt the established, experienced dentist im going to will say they did the right thing putting in the post while its still infected. Now i am left hoping the infection hasnt spread anywhere else. These people are all new and inexperienced from what i can tell. read more

Picked up dentures today. The back teeth don't line up. I tried to tell the dentist but she kept saying that's the way they are suppose to fit. Nice cozy little dentists office. They always try to make things reasonably priced for those of us lacking insurance and a hefty amount of money. The girls at the front desk are lovely, Jova and Lupe, very sweet. All of the assistants are helpful and willing to help out as they stop by the rooms. It was a little bit of a wait, which is understandable for a small practice. The only negative is I wish that my cavity would have been found sooner in the visit so that I could do the filling in the same day as the rest and get all of them out of the way. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went in 2014 due to tooth pain and they poorly did 16 fillings 1 extraction and 1 root canal all in one day, 7 hours! And no NOS. When it hurt they told me it was just pressure. NO IT WAS PAIN!! Also, they filed down some of my teeth without my knowledge. All of those fillings have since fallen out and the tooth they did a root canal on was Cracked and later was removed by a better dentist. read more

I wish I had check the reviews before coming here. DO NOT GO HERE. I went in for a few fillings and sore gums on my right side. Left with 3 root canals, a removed tooth, and 8 fillings (ALL ON THE SAME DAY). The dentist that did it messed up a canal in one tooth, and they just keep throwing antibiotics at me like tic tacs (6 TIMES) instead of fixing the problem. What I realized later, that they did all of that because of the amount of $$$ I had on my insurance. I honestly don't think I needed the tooth removal or root canals at all. They charged me double for the mistake the first dentist made (re-treatment). 6 months later and probably 3-4 thousand dollars less, I still have the infection, Iv'e been lied to multiple times and I had to go to the emergency for HEART PALPITATION because of the infection now traveling thru my body. This place is a joke!!! I made an appointment 3 months ago to have my daughters wisdom teeth taken out. I made sure that they would put her under, and they assured me they would. So I called yesterday the day before her appointment, since no one ever called me to confirm the appointment to make sure she didn't need to do any special instructions before she was put under. And they said no. So I was double checking this morning and called back just to make sure and she said no there aren't any special instructions then informed me that she was just getting a local!! I said no I requested that she be put under. And they said they don't have an oral surgeon at their office today. So I kept the appointment to see if my daughter would do it that way. Well got a call from them before I could even call her and they said they would not be able to do it at all!! WTH?? Who runs this place?? They have no knowledge about anything up there. The girl I made the appointment with 3 months ago should have told me this then!!!! I should not have found out the day of!!! I would never ever recommend this place to anyone!! The are ignorant!
