FALSE ADVERTISING AND UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER:
During the initial consultation, everything went well from the office staff to Dr. Nuri himself. My appointment was scheduled a few days after the consultation and I needed extractions. I did have some healthy teeth but took the Dr's advice. The front desk staff made me extremely comfortable because I was having so much anxiety.
I explained to Dr. Nuri at the consultation what I wanted, which was a perfect smile because I had never had one and that I did not want to walk away with a smile similar to the natural one that I had. I reiterated what I wanted during the next appointment and was assured that he understood and that I would be happy with the outcome. Well I absolutely was not happy with the outcome. Not to mention, although I had scheduled appointments, they were always rushed appointments.
When I complained that the dentures were cutting into my gums, he would leave out of the room to "adjust/re-align" them, bring them back to me to try on and disappear without returning for feedback. This went on the entire time that I was seeing Dr. Nuri. He would simply send one of his assistants in to let me know to schedule another appointment for whatever changes that I needed
when they could've been made while I was at that appointment. I guess I'll simply say that over the duration of my treatments, I had several red flags. I began to feel cheated once my permanents came in. From the day I tried them on I hated them but Dr. Nuri said that I had already signed that I was satisfied. He said to try them for a week and come back. READ EVERYTHING PPL.
I was able to eat and talk without gagging during that week, but the cutting of the gums were unbearable. The permanents was not what I expected nor wanted. They even had a gap between the top middle teeth... I wanted them better. The gap was quickly fixed but the gum part after "fixing" was too bulky which caused a protrusion that I did not want. In addition, I thought that either they were switched or they were fixed improperly. They felt like my temps which were hard and made me gag. Now, The day I received the permanents, there was no gagging, they fit well against the roof of my mouth When I received my permanents, they felt good inside of my mouth but again, they were cutting into my gums in several areas, Instead of fixing the problems, they made it worse... almost to the point where I thought that the dentures had been switched. That's how awful they felt after that "adjustment". Previously my gums were sore and the only plus to that was that I was able to wear them without adhesives unless I was eating. I didn't have to worry about gluing the dentures in before I answered my door, or ran errands or went to appointments and meetings but after that "adjustment" that was done to relieve the cutting "that didn't work in some areas", I could no longer go without adhesives and they were so hard. They also went so far back in my mouth that I was gagging again. That's why I believe that the permanents were switched or remade incorrectly.
I explained to Dr. Nuri how I felt, offered a solution and noticed that his tone was different, he told me that he had been doing this for a long time and that I shouldn't tell him how to do his job. He had become downright rude and offered me a refund, which I said "Ok, give me a refund". For some odd reason though, he changed his tune and said, just try them for another week and see if it's better. I agreed to do so.
The person who makes the teeth was out sick the day I had the next appointment so I agreed to come in the following week...which I did. But when Dr. Nuri entered the room, I explained to him that I was not happy and was about to tell him why, but he cut me off and said "well, I'll give you a refund". He took my dentures and called for "Shante" to assist me with the refund. I went to the front desk to await either the refund or the paperwork.
She explained that the Office Manager wasn't in until the following Monday and that I needed to wait to see what she says about the refund stating that Insurance had paid for the Dentures and that the Office Manager had to determine how much of the refund I'll be getting. I said what do you mean how much I'll get back. She explained that I had to get extractions, which I did. I simply said ok, thank you because I wasn't getting anywhere. I'm so disappointed, sad and depressed because now I have to walk around without any teeth. Yes, I did get extractions because I was told that I needed them. That was also paid through Insurance so I don't understand why the Insurance won't be refunded. The website promises 100% guarantee customer satisfaction and will provide services until the customer is satisfied. I urge you all to NOT write a review until AFTER you are satisfied with the permanents. READ ALL FORMS THOROUGHLY AND DON'T SIGN UNTIL YOU'RE SATISFIED. I would NEVER return to this Dr read more
