She explained everything she was doing and took her time. She didn't find any cavities or suggest anything I didn't need (unlike the last place I went). The doctor was also amazing and told me I have beautiful teeth- which I have always been self conscious about- so I was literally on the verge of tears. I am definitely bringing my baby here when he's old enough and would recommend this place to any friends or family.

The doctor is very precise and thorough and the work he does is always impeccable. I requested an extra visit this week to discuss some concerns with my new hard night guard and as always, Dr Ratliff provided the best care and put my mind at ease. Never judge a book by its cover, or be fooled by the wolf in sheep's clothing…read more If you are wanting an experienced dentist and staff that provide EXCELLENT dental services for a more than fair price as, opposed to the price-gouging service charges to pay for the "modern, state of the art" office, then this is where you need to be. The office may seem outdated or "Fred Flintstone" as one mentioned in another review, however the services are not! I would rather pay less (fair price) for EXCELLENT services than more to pay for the dentist's bells and whistles and shoddy services any day! Try the services before judging the book cover. You may just be pleasantly surprised.

A total stranger told me, oh he's really a dentist. I said, I'm glad he's good at something because as a contractor he stinks. He even REVIEWED his OWN business on the Wood Construction website! Since my negative reviews on Google etc for Wood C&R LLC get ignored maybe I'll have to get my teeth straightened by $33,000 to get his attention. Today, as a self pay patient, the doctor and his staff once again treated me with the utmost respect, were willing to consider my financial situation (instead of pushing me into something), and worked with me to get a treatment plan that suited me, my finances, and the future of my teeth. I've had extractions, cleanings, and root canals at Dr Moore's office, and everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable, I just won't go anywhere else. I haven't needed it, but they do provide sedation dentistry for folks who have a dental fear. I would recommend them to anyone. His office is on Roan right next to Boones Creek Pharmacy (another great local business), he's a Tennessee native, and a veteran. Make an appointment.

This is a hard mix to find, especially in the medical profession. I was particularly impressed with my parents' last visit. This practice has taken all of the necessary steps to protect their patients against COVID-19. For example, we waited in the car until it was time for my parents' appointment. Staff came wearing masks to the car and escorted my parents inside and returned my parents at the end of the appointment. Also, staff took the time to explain the results of their exam to me and invited me to use their restroom or bring coffee back to our car while I waited. This was a very nice touch. My parents and Johnson City are very fortunate to have Dr. Moore's practice.
