I've had a mixed and ultimately frustrating experience with BLP PC Repairs. I was trying to get my…read moreSamsung Gaming Monitor Fixed and went here on January 20th on a Tuesday. The technician Brian or Bryan was helpful, professional, and genuinely tried to assist me. He communicated well and did what he could on his end. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the owner, Brandon. Brandon was largely unresponsive throughout the process. At one point, I was even accused of not paying for the service, despite the fact that payment had already been made through Apple Pay. When this issue came up, Brian or Bryan also had trouble reaching Brandon, which speaks to a larger communication problem within the business. It is extremely unprofessional for both a customer and an employee to be unable to reach the owner, especially when payment disputes are involved. This situation could have been resolved quickly with basic communication. I appreciate the effort and professionalism shown by the employee, but the lack of responsiveness and organization from ownership made this a bad overall experience. I hope the business improves its communication and internal management moving forward.

He is the reason I'm giving this business three stars. Unfortunately, my interaction with Mr. Knox was disappointing. During my visit, he expressed the opinion that security measures like strong passwords, two-factor authentication, email or SMS verification, and facial recognition aren't worthwhile because "hackers are going to hack you anyway." As someone who values protecting my personal information, I found that advice concerning. I believe encouraging customers to use strong security practices is important, especially when working on their computers and accounts. The technical service was good, but the discussion about cybersecurity left me with less confidence than I expected from a computer repair business. Peace

I have both purchased computers and used their repair service. The most recent experience I had was with Lane at the Thomasville location. My computer failed to install an update halfway through the process and kept giving me a "stopcode" message. I dropped my computer off and explained my problem. Lane diagnosed the problem and installed the upgrade directly in the shop. The charge was nominal and he did not try to upsell me on a new computer.
