Took my laptop in on a Friday. Good Friday said they would look at it they diagnose it never got a call. They didn't work Saturday Monday about 5 o'clock. I called him because they never called me and was told that it's almost ready but they closed at 6 o'clock, so I had to pick it up on Tuesday Went to get it on Tuesday and he's making out my bill and computer doesn't work at all. It's worse now than what it was when I dropped it off I recommend this business for computer work or anything I have a small business I was planning on moving stuff over today. I wouldn't advise anyone to take anything that these people they never call you, there's nobody ever working in the place. While I had been in the computer consulting business over 45 years, I rely on pro's to build my machines (I can maintain them). I just had one built by Affordable Computer Geeks on Cypress Gardens Road for my #5 Grandson. He is graduating HS and off to college. They built a NEW SWEET HP laptop (dual drive, 16gb and more) cheaper than I could have ordered a refurnished (not as nice) one online. I received great service from Matt at Affordable Computer Geeks in Winter Haven. They are located across the street from the Olive Garden restaurant. I was blown away by how quickly they began working on my desktop that had crashed on me. I am a pastor and I used my pc to write sermons and prepare PowerPoint presentations every week. In all my 20 years in the IT industry and the combined vendors I have dealt with in all those years as a Network admin, never have I come across a more incompetent, rude and unprofessional company as ACG. To summarize, We have a network closet that has equipment (firewall, battery backup, network switch, etc) that was lying on the floor or hanging by a cable. The initial office visit was to get a quote on getting that cleaned up and rearrange. We got the quote and the quote suggested that we purchase a shelf. After numerous emails to the tech to confirm the shelf size and to set a date to get a tech out to complete the job, I finally received an email from the CEO stating the following, "We are not able to assist you any further with this work, nor will we be able to assist you in the future. " Terrible, never experienced anything like this...Do yourself a favor and hire anyone but these people. read more

Avoid this place. I'm out $950 so far and have nothing to show in return from these incompetent, apathetic hacks who do not stand behind their work. First, they forgot to replace the backing screws on my MacBook that went into hibernation and wouldn't wake up. After repeated returns to the store, Matt said he fixed it but it just got worse. Later, he suggested I trade it in for another one he had on the shelf a year newer. That unit soon gave me the black screen of death. I took it to a Certified Mac technician who determined that unit was junk. I found out later that this particular MacBook was notorious for video card failure and that Matt had simply unsoldered the connections from the mother board to attempt a bypass. I returned the dead laptop to Affordable Computer Geeks and to date have yet to receive any compensation for their inability to deliver what they said they would provide or receive an offer of any kind. The owner Mark Stone is deaf to my concerns. Mark has yet to respond to my letter to him, the complaint registered with the Better Business Bureau or to step up and provide me with anything in exchange for the amount of money invested with his company for what they claim to provide their customers. Today, I have nothing to show for all the grief I went through attempting to get satisfaction from Affordable Computer Geeks. I urge you to go somewhere else. read more

Have done business with Affordable Computer Geeks over the last 10 years. Just purchased a new desk top about 2 weeks ago. Once it was set up, I kept getting black screens. I met with the geek team, and after many hours on the phone, in the shop or they at my house, they found the problem. Mark, Sean, Will and Ben, at one time or another had their hands and brains on the job, trying to make things right. There were a couple nights, that Mark and I were on the phone testing. Had review them for $ 30.- my Imac and all what they came up with was may be its the power supply or the motherboard. They did not even check the power supply, which we did after I got the Mac back and saw that there was to one part no power. They could not do that for $ 30.- ??? read more
