This is an awful company. They are in Myrtle Beach, but supposedly service Summerville. Well,…read morethey serviced us for installation, but not for real service /repairs. Our lights were not working on one side of the awning. They charged almost $200 to come out, and say we needed a new motor. They were going to charge another "trip" charge to do the installation. We had an electrician that we trusted come out and he made a very minor repair for $100. Affordabe Awning agreed to return the first payment as they didn't do anything, and made an incorrect diagnosis. Now, there is something else wrong with the awning... coming out unevenly ....only 2 years old. We will try to find some other way to correct this problem. Will never deal with this company again. They say their awnings are under warranty, but charge a large trip charge because they're in Myrtle Beach...not our problem!

They were installed this past Saturday. The young men who completed the installation were on time, very professional and did a very good job. The shades look very nice. While the shades will provide a good amount of privacy on our screened porch, we wanted them in order to keep out most of the rain as well as keep out pollen in the spring.
