All i can say is thank goodness for them. This is a small family business and I would definitely recommend them. They provide transit and if you just need assistance getting in and out of your home they will do that also. They have the newest wheelchairs that can go up and down stairs, they have great gurneys too. The employees are so nice and knowledgeable. I spoke to the owner for a while. He had been in the medical field for a long time. He is very much invested in the wellbeing of his customers. His sons work with him also. They are paramedics. They even transport across states. They were on time and very professional. They treated my brother exceptionally well and my brother felt safe with their services. If anyone in my family needs non medical transport I will definitely call Affinity again. The service is not cheap but it's well worth the cost. read more

Will was very attentive and helpful. Very kind and respectful. He made our visit and transportation needs a lot easier.

They apparently overbook. We waited over an hour and a half for a return from a doctor's appointment. My 81 year old spouse had to sit in an uncomfortable wheelchair and couldn't use the restroom because she couldn't stand. Very bad service. I would not recommend. read more

This service was excellent. If it's non emergency, expect to pay $$ but this company was $85 cheaper than the company the rehab facility recommended, plus the scheduling operator was way more professional. Excellent communication with me, good care transporting my 6' 3" husband on a gurnery, friendly and professional. No one wants to be in the situation of needing this kind of transport but if you do, this company is excellent. Date of service 6/6/25 Glendale to Verdugo Hills. read more

My 85 yr old mother is not ambulatory and needed to get to her second story condo after discharge from a week long hospital stay. The hospital screwed up the pickup order so my mom was waiting hours to get home. Once I called Affinity directly, they immediately arranged for transport (on a very busy Friday night). The drive was from the west side to Pasadena and they arrived promptly. My mother was delighted with the 2 men who transported her and said the whole experience was comfortable and safe. Bless you for taking care of her so wonderfully! read more

The gentlemen who helped me were all courteous, and professional. I appreciated the care that they took in helping me onto the gurney.

I've had 2 rides with Affinity and below are my general thoughts: Punctuality - 2.5 stars. 1st trip: I paid $100 for Affinity because they could get my loved one home 2 hrs earlier. They ended up being 1.5 hrs late and refunded me only $25.00. I feel like they owe me $75.00. 2nd trip: no complaints, they were on time. People - 4.0 stars. Most importantly, the EMTs were great. They were able to get my loved one to their destination in 1 piece, they were careful not to cause any discomfort, and in general, it felt as if they cared. The support staff were also kind, especially Oscar. He took his time to explain and answer my many questions. Pricing - 3.0 stars. Fair ish. They were more expensive than other transit companies and had they been on time I would have accepeted the price no problem. Would I use them again - yes. My highest priority is to ensure the safety/comfort of the patient and I felt Affinity checked that box. read more

We called Affinity Transit based on a referral and Christian was very helpful on the phone. He was able to get us scheduled the next morning. We needed to bring our elderly mother home over 400 miles by gurney. Tino and his daughter, Katie, drove us and were wonderful! We are so thankful for them! If you need long distance transport, please contact Affinity Transit. This is a family run business with great customer service! read more

Amazing customer service. My family and I ultimately decided to transport grandma ourselves, but we would have selected Affinity had we gone through with hiring a service. Our request was personal, non-medical related (family wedding). Affinity's VP, Gareth, called me directly to discuss the details. He was very professional, and I felt he genuinely cares about the patients they transport. I called several medical transport companies around the LA area. Most of them were very unprofessional, and half of them didn't even call me back. Even though we didn't go through with their service, I will definitely call them first when I need medical transport in the future. read more

Never use this service. The car was a piece of crap and the driver took forever to get to our destination. Clearly they need better drivers. At one point o thought the car might fall apart right on the middle of the road. When it was time to get picked up the driver said call someone else I am an hour away. Then we got to wait 50minutss to get picked up. Total fail. Use another company!!!! read more

My father was in the hospital and has limited mobility due to chronic breathing issues. Getting him home from the hospital has always been a difficult and stressful experience. I found Affinity Transport through other positive reviews and asked for an online quote to transport him home which was very reasonable and back to me within 2 hours. The team at Affinity was also very helpful in answering questions and had great flexibility with scheduling his pickup. My dad was nervous before the trip but the team was amazingly professional and had everything ready to make his trip home safe and comfortable. We couldn't have had a better experience and my dad just looked at me and said he was happy to be home! Thank you Affinity! read more

I used this transit service upon the recommendation of a friend. They were on time, and their employee was courteous, efficient, and right on time. However, once we called for pickup they refused to come and get my 96-year old father, a WWII veteran, because he had been tested for COVID19 while he was there. Not that he had the virus - which he did not - but that they had TESTED him for it. So, Dad and Mom sat out in the 101 degree heat for 2.5 hours waiting for a ride that never came. I went and picked them up myself, but I have no wheelchair lift in my car, so we had to lift him into the car ourselves. They refunded me $17.50 of my $86 charge. Seems that we should get at least half of that charge back. Photo of Dad waiting for a ride here. read more

Affinity Transit - Medical Transportation Near Me - San Fernando, California

Their drivers are experienced, kind and get to your destination comfortably and safely. Always got a rep on the phone during business hours - not once sent to voicemail wondering if I'd be called back. Professional, courteous customer service. read more

I called around to every med transport outfit in the greater los angeles area and every single one of them couldn't handle a simple request, except for Affinity Transit. They were on point from the start, asked the right questions and delivered a level of service far beyond all their competition and beyond my own expectations and did so at a very reasonable and fair price. All this, and i called them 25 minutes before closing time. From now and on, they will be the first call I make and i am confident that it will be the only call that is needed. Thanks guys for a job well done! read more

Great company to work with- the staff is professional and courteous and provided the best of care during a stressful situation. I highly recommend! read more

Where do I start! Let me begin by saying if you ever need a loved one to be transported! This company is the best at this kind of service. When I first booked the trip I felt that it was a bit of expensive service but unfortunately there were not many providers that were recommended. I needed my father to be transported out of the hospital and it was very complicated due to so many steps at home and unable to carry him upstairs. The crew that showed up to take him home was attentive, polite and very professional, I was quiet impressed by their service. Over all I had a great positive experience and definitely worth every penny! I definitely recommend this company for your transportation needs. read more

Affinity Transit is BEYOND OUTSTANDING. My husband has special bariatric needs in transport from the hospital due to stairs leading to our home which makes the logistics a bit more challenging. Tino and his tightknit team provided us amazing service and skill level, handling the assignment with the utmost of professionalism, 5-star expertise in patient transfer from gurney to their bariatric stair chair lift assist while demonstrating an unparalleled level of compassion throughout the effort. All of this added to the fact that they responded to our hospital's last minute request on a late Saturday afternoon without hesitation arriving on time as promised, and providing the right equipment with the right composition of staffing assist makes them head and shoulders above any prior transport experiences I have had. The equipment they provided was stellar, a top of the line transport stair chair lift and the entire transfer from curbside to our home happened in a matter of minutes, executed flawlessly with laser-like precision. Tino has an incredible pride in what his company can offer to his clients based on the experience and knowledge he brings in addition to knowing what the competition cannot provide. I personally cannot thank this company enough for the care and support they have shown to my husband and myself to bring us home safely and securely. I would recommend Affinity Transit without any hesitation to anyone looking for a QUALITY Company that treats your family members as if it was one of their own. They are really that GOOD! Lynn D. What a relief to find a company that could transport me home from surgery, and again for a round trip post-op visit. I had foot reconstruction surgery and just can't manage the stairs, so the really cool chair used to get me up and down was just amazing! They used a partially automated wheel chair to get me up and down the stairs, and a gurney for door to door transport. I was safely belted in, and really quite comfortable. In addition to having all the right tools to transport me and keep me safe, the two person team, both times, have been wonderful! Everyone was professional, and kind - I felt very well taken care of. Thanks for providing a reliable and safe experience! ~Brigid read more

I begin by saying I hope you never have to meet Tino and Josh, because if you do, it means you need their service. That said, if you need medical transport, I can't stress enough how much our family appreciate this father and son team. In short, after 5 hours, and two previous failed transport service attempts, Andre, a case manager at Saint Joseph's, called Tino and Josh (already home for the night) who agreed to suit up, drive from Santa Clarita to Burbank at 11PM to get our loved one home and in his own room. Longer story, our loved one had just been designated as a hospice patient and we wanted to get him home. The first transport service apparently was not BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and declined to "accept the patient" who required oxygen. Andre then helped secure another ambulance service. 2 hours later, our loved one was loaded into the transport, taken to his home less than 2 miles from the hospital. But when the drivers saw there were 10 steps to the entry, they returned to the hospital without contacting anyone or asking if there were an alternate entry, and negligently put our loved one back in the room. (I will not go further into the complaints to be issued with these two drivers as the focus is on the hero like actions of Tino and Josh.) Andre then called Affinity and as noted above, Tino and Josh arrived when they said they would, got our loved one home with the utmost professionalism, but also with a genuine warmth and kindness. Our loved one passed this morning, less than 48 hours after getting home. With our deepest gratitude, Thank You Tino and Josh for getting our loved one home. read more

First time I've had to use a transport service like this and it was a great experience. I scheduled transport to take my mom, who has dementia, to a doctors appointment. The drivers, Tino (aka, Juventino S. who I just found out owns the business) and Ricardo, were fantastic - very friendly and professional. They were on time and did a great job providing gurney service. My bed-bound mom can get anxious when being moved, but Tino and Ricardo did a great job keeping her relaxed while moving her from her second floor bedroom to their vehicle. They got us to our destination on time, and even helped move mom from the gurney to the examination chair in the clinic. I'd highly recommend this company based on my experience. read more

Had called to schedule an appointment to take my mom to start chemo after recently getting surgery. The hospital used this company to do a courtesy drop off at home and I had first called to verify the address and then told the guy I wanted to set up an appointment to take my mom to another hospital to start treatment and get admitted. He said okay we can do pick up at 7:30. 7:30 comes around and now the guy says "we can't find your appointment. I remember you calling but can't find your appointment." Now my moms going to be in pain for the night and of course because they close at 8 they don't want to help. Bad service man. read more

You'd be better hiring someone off the street. We set up a transit for my father who needs a wheelchair. First off, I was quoted 3 different prices for the same services in the process of setting it up. I called Affinity to confirm the day before, and they charged the card. When they didn't show up at the appointed time, I called. Over the next 45 minutes I was told various stories by various dispatchers, including "20 more minutes," "just 10 more minutes." Finally I managed to get my father and the wheelchair in my own car and took him--he was an hour late and had to wait another hour at the doctor's because he missed his appt. Nearly an hour after they were due to arrive, a woman came from Affinity with a van, and was told we had left. She asked, "Oh what time was the pick-up?" So the confusion at Affinity is top to bottom. During this entire process, no one called us (altho they knew the driver was going to be very late), nor offered solutions nor refund. I called them, but they clearly didn't care that a customer was missing a needed health appointment due to their lack of concern, and they didn't bother notifying us--just left us to wait. One of the dispatchers, Irena, just said, "things happen." Indeed. I called the manager and should be getting a refund--we'll see. read more

I witnessed a wheel chair van arrive to pick up a patient and instead of coming inside to "pick up" the patient the driver stood out side his van for almost 30min and when the medical office staff asked why he didn't come in to get the patient, the driver responded with attitude saying "we do not come inside to get the patient... you must bring them to me at the van.".
