My mom arrived 15 minutes before closing and was denied entry, even though there were clearly still customers inside. When she politely asked if they could post a statement clarifying their apparent policy of closing early when busy--so others can plan accordingly--the employee rudely slammed the door on her, nearly hitting her hand. We're truly in disbelief. This is not the level of respect or professionalism we've come to expect from a place we've supported for so long. Please beware if you plan on visiting close to their listed closing time.

Now that I have been 4 times, I am not so happy any longer. They do not have any pork products other than a few frozen sausages. 95% of their meats are frozen, although they do keep a few beef items in the front display/refrigerated case. They sell mostly beef products, with a few items of lamb. I am very disappointed that they do not have pork: Pork shoulder, Boston butt, and St. Louis or baby back ribs. I have decided to go back to my previous "Go to" butcher - "Cracchiolo's" in Woodland - they have everything you need, none of it is frozen either. Buckhorn, you better step up your game, or you won't last! You lost a customer.
