Unresolved Issues and Unprofessional Response I had surgery with Dr. Bruneteau at Aesthetic Surgical Images in Omaha in 2018. Unfortunately, I have lived with the physical and emotional consequences of that surgery ever since. After years of working hard to improve the results on my own--with no success--I finally reached out to Dr. Bruneteau in 2025 to ask if he would consider helping me correct the outcome. I was told no, simply because too much time had passed. What shocked me even more was the response that followed. Rather than compassion or a willingness to discuss my concerns, I received a threatening letter from his attorney, warning me not to share my experience publicly or risk legal action. So not only was I left with disappointing surgical results, but now I'm also being intimidated for daring to speak out about it. Dr Biggerstaff was nice enough, everybody is friendly really. Pretty sure I got ripped off when I went though. I paid close to $1,200. I wanted smokers lines, and the lines from my nose to mouth done. When he came in to do the procedure, he mentioned my forehead (never even said I wanted that) I said oh do I need it? He's like yea, nothing else really. I was like, ok... He never did the lines from my nose to mouth. And I know that part is done w juvaderm which is more expensive than botox so I figured when I was quoted the cost it made sense. At the time. But #1 those lines were never done and #2 i would know cause every spot he did hurt. Like this was actually painful. I've gotten filler before, it doesn't hurt. I got my first breast augmentation in 2013, which were saline. After only having them for 4 years one of my implants ruptured. Don't let that 10 year warranty fool you... that covered the ONE implant that ruptured and that's it. That didn't cover the anesthesia, random surgical facility costs or most importantly replacing the other implant. WHY in the world would someone not get both implants replaced if the other one ruptured all the sudden?! Obviously the other implant would also most likely rupture any day. I was extremely disappointed. 10 year guarantee... yeah, not so much. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Montag who was my original surgeon. Since the warranty only covered the actual implant itself it cost me another $8 thousand to get them both replaced. I switched to silicone with hopes they would last longer than 4 years! After this surgery I was absolutely devastated looking in the mirror. My left breast was extremely higher on my chest than my right breast. Not only that but my areolas were basically ovals, each pointing the opposite direction. They were not aligned whatsoever, which made me extremely self-conscious. Instead of Dr. Montag admitting her fault during my follow-up appointment she insists that my left breast will eventually drop lower. She said I needed to massage it every day to fix this issue. Nope, that certainly did not happen even after doing exactly as instructed. 6 months later she still said the same thing and there was no improvement. Finally I scheduled another appointment where I expressed that I was extremely dissatisfied and that this needs to be fixed, regardless of if this results in a THIRD surgery. As much as I didn't want to have another surgery I wanted to be able to look in the mirror without pure embarrassment and disappointment, especially since at this point I had already spent over $13K within the 2 surgeries. Dr. Montag said that the only way to fix it would be to make a vertical incision all the way from my nipple to the bottom of my breast, which seemed absolutely absurd since surgeons only have to do that for breast reductions. Who wants to have an extremely noticeable scar all the way down their breast? I know a lot of women who have had breast augmentation and I've never heard of a vertical incision being necessary. I was mortified and hesitant. Most importantly, I was scared that if I didn't make the right decision I would regret it for the rest of my life. Of course other surgeons outside of Aesthetic Surgical Images wanted to charge a ridiculous amount, which I don't blame them for because I'm sure that fixing a surgeon's mistake it much more complicated than doing an initial surgery. I was getting quotes around $11K. Never in a million years did I plan on spending that much on my breasts... especially when you factor in what I've already spent! After much contemplation I decided to meet with Dr. Bruneteau only because I figured it would be much cheaper since I already had 2 procedures done there. He tells me the exact same thing as Dr. Montag, but meanwhile, I'm getting mixed responses from other surgeons. I finally decided to interview Dr. Edney. He informed me that I would have a better outcome with a vertical incision in regard to my nipple alignment, but he respected the fact that I didn't want a large, extremely noticeable incision all the way from my nipple down. He said we could go through the horizontal incision at the bottom of my breast to fix the capsular contraction that I was having. He was completely upfront with me when explaining my options. Once I healed from my 3rd surgery (which also costed me almost $2K just to fix the surgeon's mistake) I was satisfied. I know I'll never be as happy as I was after my first surgery, as Dr. Montag did a magnificent job initially, but they don't look anything like they did after my 1st surgery. My recommendations for anyone who is considering breast augmentation... do an extensive amount of research on your surgeon and get silicone, not saline!! read more

My friend and I both went it to get lip fillers done by Dr. Biggerstaff and each paid $550 for 1 Syringe and was only able to see a difference for 1 week! It has only been 21 days from when we got our lip fillers and you cannot even tell one bit of a difference people keep telling us that they cannot even tell we got anything done and $550 is a lot to pay to not be able to see any results. read more

To be honest, I felt safe and that I was in capable hands. All my pre-surgical meetings I was told where my scars would be and I had been happy with that and prepared for that. But somewhere between going unconscious and awaking they abandoned the whole idea and scarred my breasts all the way around to my back. And when I awoke, I was scolded for leaking urine during surgery--which I didn't even know I had an issue with incontinence. So I was shamed for that, handed my underwear in a plastic sack and pushed out the door. It was AWFUL!! Humiliating! And the cost...I had to pay all of it up front which took me a bit of time to come up with it all and then a couple of months after surgery I am getting more bills for anesthesiologist that was not written or expressed by anyone at anytime. read more

I had a consultation fall of 2018 and boy i tell you i was there for 4 hours. What I thought would just be an hour of my time ended up taking forever. I waited in the waiting area for an hour then got taken into another room to chat with the doctor but again waited probably another 45 minutes. Then I got taken to another room for them to take pictures of my body and did not make me feel comfortable at all. That probably took another hour. Then they took me to another room to talk about costs. After that i told them I would think about it and left and will NEVER go there for surgery. About a month after my consultation I got an email saying that they quoted me the wrong price and that they were sending me the new reflected price. I was really excited about getting a mommy make over, I had talked about it for years. 2 years post surgery my chest that I asked for was a full C and I spill out of a DDD, placement of the inplant is not correct and they are too large for my frame. For my tummy tuck the scaring horrific and the feeling has not come back and I'm not talking just around the scar from above my belly button to below my bikini line and across the entire front and sides of my torso. I would urge anyone thinking about going to Aesthetic Surgical Images to turn and RUN the other way! This place is a disaster. First, they make you wait an hour or more for each and every appointment (consultation, pre-op, etc.). I'm not sure what the hold-up is, because you only get to see the surgeon for about 2 minutes, anyway. The staff is ridiculously incompetent. They and the doctor kept "forgetting" that I had decided to go with just a breast lift and not an augmentation, and so I had to continuously remind them. Ummm, isn't that something they should have written down? They won't tell you what time your surgery is until the day before, which makes absolutely no sense; they have their own surgical facility, so how do they not know when they're going to do the surgery? I have a history of anemia, so I asked the nurse probably 3 times what the results of my anemia test were so that I could know if I needed to start taking iron (which, apparently was the whole purpose of them giving me the finger prick). Yeah, they never bothered to tell me. I had to get them to fill out FMLA paperwork so that I could get the recovery time off work, and despite me calling several times and emailing several times, they didn't turn it in until the day after it was due (mind you, they had 3 weeks to fill out a two-page document, but apparently the nurse quit and so no one else was going to bother to do it). Luckily my work, who had been on me to get it turned in, extended the deadline. Then, at my pre-op appointment, they forgot to give me my pre-op instructions! (I believe that the nurse accidentally gathered the paperwork up with the consent forms.) So, on my way out of the appointment I went to the front desk and waited there to ask someone for them, but of course no one was actually manning the desk. So a couple days later I called, but they had closed early. Ok. So I emailed the nurse (yes, the new nurse). No response. (The day of surgery I found out that she too had quit or been fired.) I emailed the main email address listed on their website. No response. I called the office, and this time someone answered! She said of course, she'd be happy to email me the instructions. So she emailed me the discharge instructions, not the pre-op instructions. Then, the next day (the day before surgery), I spoke with a nurse when she called to tell me what time my surgery was. I told her the whole saga of how I still hadn't received my pre-op instructions, and she said, "Oh, that is so weird!" Ok, so during this time I had googled what to do/not to do prior to mommy makeovers. The standard advice is eat healthy, no smoking/drinking, stop taking vitamins/advil, etc. Even though I had asked for my instructions SIX times, I thought I had done everything I was supposed to do. Come the morning of surgery, I got there and did my check-in. As part of the check-in, the nurse asked if I had had any energy drinks. The day before I had had a Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso Energy Drinks (I have triplet toddlers, don't judge me!). They got me into my hospital gown and blue hat and into the surgical bed, and then the doctor came in and said he wouldn't do my surgery because my coffee drink had ginseng in it. I paid $12,680 for them to perform my mommy makeover, and they gave me back every cent because they knew it was their fault. I would not trust these people to put a band-aid on a skinned knee. I wish I could give them 0 stars. OH. And I went to several other surgeons after the fiasco at ASI, and all of the doctors thought the coffee drink thing was ridiculous. My wife has had 2 separate procedures at ASI with Dr. Bruneteau, and we have been really happy with the Dr., Staff, and facilities both times. Yes, sometimes the doctor may be held up, but that is due to Dr. Bruneteau spending time answering questions with his patients and/or taking longer on a surgery to ensure the patient is safe and receiving quality work. I developed a condition called bilateral gynaecomastia during puberty that slowly worsened by the age of 25. I tried everything from losing weight to gaining muscle. While I succeeded in both, the problem lingered. I went to Aesthetic Surgical images hoping to improve both my self-perception and my appearance. I wanted to feel confident without my shirt on. I selected to discuss my options with Dr. Richard Bruneteau at Aesthetic Surgical Images. Throughout the process, I never once felt shame or unease. The building is private and the staff very helpful. Dr Bruneteau was wonderfully helpful in discussing the causes, the treatments, and, most importantly, what results to expect. It was rather simple to schedule the surgery and prepare. The hardest part was the recovery, but that goes with all surgery. Drink a TON of water and have food frozen ready to microwave for several days/weeks. They recommend a minimum of 3 days off work, but I'd recommend closer to a week if possible to reduce unnecessary movement and let your body heal. You are required to wear a compression vest/wrap and keep tubes into the site for drainage for 2-3 weeks. Lastly, try to slowly return back to some physical exercise. Even after the 6 week mark, you'll need some time to return back to normal strength. Overall, despite the usual minor difficulties immediately after surgery, I'm extremely happy with my results and have no regrets. I highly recommend Dr. Bruneteau and the rest at Aesthetic Surgical images. read more

I recently had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Richard Bruneteau, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the consultation to the day of surgery I had every question answered and always felt that I was making the right decision. All of the staff were very sweet and I never waited more than 10 minutes to be taken back for my appointment. As for the surgery itself, Dr. Bruneteau couldn't have done a better job. I was always insecure about my nose and my side profile and I shared all of that with him as early as the consultation. I no longer cringe at the sight of my profile and I have him to thank for that! This place is an absolute joke to the medical community. From the minute you call they are so eager to get your cash it's as if your on a bad assembly line from start to finish. The doctors don't know who you are and don't care. They make you wait hours and tell you anything you want to hear even if it is detrimental to your health. This place is very dangerous at best. The surgeons are incredible, talented and thorough. I love my results. My only complaints are the wait time and having to see the doctor the day after surgery. One time I had to leave because I had already waited two hours to see the doctor and couldn't wait any longer. Also, coming in to see the doctor the day after surgery was horrible. You are in so much pain, tired and end up waiting so long to see the doctor. You just want to go home and rest. I had my breast augmentation in another city and the surgeons were also incredible, but instead of having me come in the day after surgery they just called me the day I got home from surgery and several days after. My follow up appt was one week after surgery. It was much nicer not having to leave the house. The day after surgery you are swollen and bloated from the fluids that you aren't going to see any results anyway. Also, you put yourself at risk for infection by leaving your home. read more

This place was amazing. I had my breast augmentation back in September of this year and it went great. The wait time for the initial consultation was long but I never had an issue after that. I also wouldn't complain about the initial wait as he was seeing others before me and you cannot rush other people, you never know how many questions they have. The day of my consultation I picked my breast size and made an appointment to have my surgery 2 weeks later. It was great that they were able and willing to get me in so quickly! Dr. Edney was very realistic when it came to choosing an implant size. He gave me a recommended size of 350CC but I preferred the 425CC more. He said he would be more than happy to try and place them but if they sat up to high and looked fake he would make the decision to go smaller. I'm glad he was concerned with the way I would look afterwards. The day of my surgery I was a little nervous and the nurse I had was amazing at answering all my questions and making me feel better. I also like the fact that the anesthesiologist stays in the room with you throughout your surgery. My recovery process went amazing. I was a little out of it of course on the first day but by day 4 I was completely off of my pain meds. The only complaint I have was that I had to sleep on my back which wasn't the most comfortable position for me. I did have to go back in the next day to see the Dr. but I was up and moving around like I never had surgery so that was not a problem for me. I am very pleased with how the whole process went from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Dr. Edney to anyone who is looking to have a breast augmentation done. I'm begging you please do not go here. In 2011 I had a nose job done by Dr. Bruneteau. I should have known better because he never once looked in my nose before the surgery. After the surgery I had an indent on my left side. I told him about it many times and he said to put a q-tip in to push it out. Wish I was kidding. After SEVEN years I finally had enough. I couldn't breathe and was getting sinus infections all the time. Found out I had a deviated septum- a 95% blockage on one side and a 90% blockage on the other side. NOT OKAY!!! He pretty much shortened the hump on my nose down but everything else just got scrunched up. I had no breathing problems before getting this surgery done. My nose literally would droop down when I smiled or talked. People noticed and I was mortified. Please for the love of God, run! I wish I did. My experience prior to the surgery was fine. I went under expecting to have my breast reduced to a small C (as I requested) but instead when I woke up I was told that I was made a full C ( a decision the doctor made). When I went to get fitted for a bra at a few department stores, I was informed that I was a D cup. All I ever got were excuses on how it takes time for the breasts to come to their true shape, or getting breasts to an exact size isn't possible, blah blah blah. I have lots of scaring and noticed that one of my breasts is STILL larger than the other. If I am paying for and expecting a certain size, then I feel like I should wake up at least close to that size. Don't change the plan while I am awake based on your personal preference. The doctor could see that I was very upset about my breasts no being the size that I wanted them to be. He told me at my last visit to come back in 6 months because he knew I was starting a weight loss plan and if my breasts weren't where I wanted them to be then they could fix it. My other issue is that they did a very poor job of preparing me for the psychological toll the surgery would take. I have been with my breasts all my life and then having them removed and having my body be so vulnerable afterwards was very shocking. I think they should at least offer one consultation that would address how you may feel emotionally after the surgery. For a few days I really questioned if my pain, having to sleep sitting up, bleeding, swelling, ect were really worth it. I have scarring that won't ever go away.....thankfully I am married to a great guy who could care less if they are scarred or not and doesn't make me feel badly about how they look. read more

I chose this business due to their reputation. I had a breast augmentation back in May by John J. Edney. I told him to make me as big as he can without making me look fake. They are smaller than I hoped for now that the swelling is gone (took 4 months). I also had a rhinoplasty, which I hate, the bump in the middle of my nose that I wanted gone is still there, the tip is round and bulky which isn't what I wanted, and the nostrils are now uneven. When I went in for my 6 week follow up appointment the surgeon told me that most people's nostrils are uneven. I know mine were not and I have pictures to prove it. During my initial consultation I wanted him to make an incision instead of just reshaping the tip, but he wanted to try the least invasive way first. He said if I didn't like it he would fix it. I'm going back in for another appointment to see if he can fix my nose and make my breasts bigger. I'm hoping he doesn't charge me to fix it since I already paid them close to $10,000 for everything. My words of caution to everyone would be to not use Aesthetic Surgical Images and Dr. Bruneteau. I had a breast reduction done 3 1/2 years ago and the only way it could have been any worse is if I were dead. I was told all along there would be drains and just before surgery told in front of my family and to them that there would be drains and they may have to assist with them. I woke up and NO drains. That evening fluid immediately started to build up. Went in the next day as instructed only to find out that Dr. Bruneteau was not there as he had gone on vacation (yet never had the professionalism to tell me he was going and someone else would have to treat me) and a physician assistant would be seeing me. The PA tried to aspirate the fluid out by jabbing a very large needle and syringe into my chest and breast. I can't even describe the pain this was. As the days went on, the entire surgical incision's broke down, sutures broke open and infection set in. When I tried to get the PA to treat the infection, she did not, and tried to pretend it was not there. Asked many times to see a different doctor in the office then and was told I just had to wait for Dr. Bruneteau to come back. My general practitioner knew it could not wait and had a wound specialist take over, thank God! I of course continued to go to ever follow up they recommended and told them I was having to be treated with a wound specialist and they said "ok". When Dr. Bruneteau finally returned and I told him everything that had happened and showed him what was going on he said he was glad the wound specialist could help. Yet all along, they documented in their notes "patient satisfied and no signs of infection". Then was told he could do another surgery later to remove all the excessive scarring from the necrotic tissue that formed. Funny part is I recently posted a review on his Facebook page stating I did not recommend them and why. They then called me and asked me to come in. I did go to hear what he had to say. He said he was surprised to hear I was not happen, which tells me he never listened and looked before. He then told me again if I was unhappy with the scars he could do another surgery to remove them. I explained to him I was obviously very unhappy and more importantly in a great deal of pain every day from the scars and damaged tissue inside. I also explained how my little girl was terrified her mommy was going to die seeing my open wounds as she at times had to assist me in changing my dressings. He disregarded me stating, he obviously cannot do anything else for me if I do not trust him and it sounded like I did not rust him. I stated I absolutely did not trust him anymore. I did explain that I would continue to write these honest reviews of what happened and he stated "I do not care about those reviews".
