They came out and in one day did all the concrete work that we needed by concreting, where two stalls were in our barn, concreted, the lean too attached to our barn for us to store our tractor and also put in a concrete pad for a propane tank. Sergio was very communicative. He understood what we wanted.His crew was respectful of our property and cleaned up after themselves. After they completed the job, Sergio hauled away the old concrete that they had to tear out. I will definitely refer him to anybody that I know.And we will use him again in the future.

Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. I asked him several times if he would have any issues doing any of these things and he repeatedly said he wouldn't. In the end I paid the full $950 for the work done.

Everything started out fine. Good price and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about. I paid them a substantial deposit for demo and materials. The did the demo and damaged my garage door lifting up concrete next to it. Accidents happen and they said they would fix it. Then suddenly they stopped showing up. Finally they told me they all caught the virus. Okay understandable, but then they are all sick for the same amount of time and then all get better at the same time. Seems unlikely but I thought at least now they will finish. Nope... Then the owner tells me he's already spent my deposit and can I front the money to buy the rebar and deduct it from the remaining balance. I should have just stopped at this point, but... I pay for the rebar and they do about half of it. Then they keep saying they will show up on a certain day. They don't. No excuses, no warning. no nothing.... Then they tell me that all the concrete companies are backed up and can't deliver for a week. I wait a week. Then after not showing up for several days, I finally get a hold of them and they give me a story that they are injured and can't finish the job. later I have another contractor give an estimate. not only did the first not finish the job but didn't do the part they did- the rebar and sand- correct. Before starting the project, he walked me through the plan and introduced me to my project manager, Luis. Luis was great, he kept me updated the whole way, even during the first week when I was out of town. I had no worries and I was able to enjoy my vacation while full on construction was going on at my home. Every crew that came out, roofing, painting, cement, told me what they were there to do and asked if I had any questions before getting started. I also have to mention Blanca in the office, every time I called, she was so friendly and easy to talk to, it was like I'd known her for years. The end result? My patio is beautiful! I was torn between putting money down on a larger home and moving, or building a patio to add square footage for gatherings. I am so happy I went with a new patio instead of the debt of a new home. I suspect he bought used cement when a huge cement truck showed up in the middle of the afternoon. I paid 50% upfront w/balance due when finished. As you see by pictures, all sections have dimples, pockmarks and one section is discolored and stained. 2 weeks later, he removed framing and carelessly filled low spots and sodded. When I pointed out the problem with cement finish, he said he would come back a 3rd time for cement overlay; A cement overlay is used to repair or resurface concrete! Mario then asked for $500 now to pay his workers. To be nice, I agreed leaving 15% payment when job is finished. After 2 months of excuses and then silence, he never finished the job or cared for the final 15% payment + as pictures show, left a careless and sloppy job! I strongly recommend DO NOT pay Mario the final 50% until job is finished and to your liking.
