I brought our very old vacuum for maintenance and Kara took it completely apart and cleaned up everything. She sent me pictures of the issues with the old vacuum and then showed them to me in her store. I personally verified all the issues that she pointed out and decided to purchase a new vacuum. I see that poor reviews are a trend with Kathy at Aerus Electrolux. My vacuum was taken for repair with the promise of delivery in order to ensure house cleaning for an event. Jose never asked me for my card and I was clear in saying I was totally unavailable. I confirmed and approved cost with Kathy, and again, she didn't ask for payment. Only when thirty mins away form the delivery deadline was I informed that he would not drop it unless payment was complete. I was totally unavailable to be contacted. Kathy had never left me a message about payment the day before nor made herself available through email or text in order to take payment. The vacuum was not dropped off and I was not informed of that until the end of the day missing my deadline. Lesson for Kathy is "don't hold your customers hostage" unless they know if in advance what your payment process is. Better yet take a deposit when you take the vacuum. Kathy missed out on the sale of additional attachments and bags. I will never do business with her again. Oh and to add insult, Jose who was supposed to deliver the vacuum and informed me 30 min in advance about payment only made the situation worse when texting me attempting to "school" the customer. Daniel will NEVER leave you alone. Once they get your phone number they never stop calling. And if you talk nicely to him and say " I have not owned an Electrolux for over 10 years, please put me on the don not call list"- he just hangs up on you.Daniel has called me everyday for 4 days in a row- (one day he called twice) each time he just hangs up- which is why he probably keeps calling- he doesn't listen to hear you say TAKE ME OFF THE LIST. RUDE- I will NEVER buy this brand again because this would be the place you would need to get parts & service from. read more

I bought an Aerus Electrolux vacuum from this place at 2990 Colorado Blvd. Ste 103 Pasadena. I am elderly and have severe arthritis. The vacuum worked fine on their indoor outdoor carpeting but when I got home and tried it on my thick carpets I could not manage it so I called and told them I would have to take it back. The first thing that came out of the owners mouth was (You bought it now you are stuck). They refused to give me my money back or in any other way negotiate so now I am stuck with a vacuum that cost me over $1000.00.It is the very worst place I have ever done business with and I hope the last. At all costs, avoid dealing with Kathy at Aerus Pasadena. Don't buy anything from her; she is the most unpleasant and the least accommodating. She will not hesitate to lie. I have had Electrolux vacuums my entire life and just love the brand. Unfortunately, it has been very difficult to find people to repair the machine whenever needed. In February, I needed the chord on my vacuum to be replaced so I was directed to call Pasadena, which was the closest to me. The woman sent me someone to pick up the vacuum and, of course, that person tried to sell me a vacuum for $3,000. When I told him that I only wanted my chord replaced, he said that my vacuum was old and not performing well. He took the vacuum and Kathy called me to let me know that the chord would be $75 but I should really buy a new vacuum. I was possibly interested in the Classic model, which she said would be on sale in April. Meanwhile, she retained my vacuum and said that she would trade it for $650. When April came around, and I asked for the sales price of the vacuum, she said $1,300, which was the regular sales price of the machine. As I inquired about my $650 trade to apply to a new vacuum, she said it was already counted in - which was a lie. When I asked her to send me a voucher, she said there was no voucher and she should not send me anything. When I asked her to bring back my vacuum... she hung up. I then called the Fresno office in charge of all franchises for my region. I spoke to Brandon - who had promised to take care of it. He never did. I left several messages for Britney, the manager. To this day, I have not received a call back. I have tried to get in touch with the President of the company and sent an email. Still awaiting a response. This is outrageous. They actually take your machine, don't give you a voucher and then make you believe you're crazy. Enough is enough. I guess I will see them in small claims court. Bottom line - don't by Aerus, because they won't be able to repair it. read more

Our family has enjoyed Electrolux vacuums for over 50 years. We currently own a new upright model that outperforms our previous models in every respect. Throughout the years we have used this West Covina service center for all our accessory needs, including minor repair and maintenance services. The management, sales and repair staff we've dealt with have always been respectful, professional and very courteous. Last year the manager, Albert, sold us a new Aerus 'Beyond' Guardian Air Purifier... a large capacity air purifier that cleans the air in our family room, living room and kitchen combined. We also purchased the smaller Lux Guardian 'Angel' air purifier for our master bedroom. Together, both of these units have improved our quality of life, especially for me, as I am a pulmonary disease patient. In addition to our immediate family needs, last year Albert donated time and a smaller room air purifier to the annual fund raising event in Covina called the "Shelley Houghton Memorial Walk-A-Thon For COPD". He plans to attend this year's event as well, on Oct 6,2018. In closing, we are very satisfied with their products and services. Some people have complained about high priced products. I received a call from your Office Manager asking me to come in on Monday at one for a Scheduling Position she had advertised on Craig's list. I went for the interview. She told me at that time she had incompetent people apply. She told me she would interview me after she interviewed for herself. She asked if I had a hour. I said yes. She showed me to a back room with just a small desk and a phone. She showed me a stack of papers and asked me to call the people on the list and follow the script and enter next to the name if they were there and what was the outcome. I thought she would stay to hear if I was reading and answering appropriately. I looked up and she left. I thought well maybe she'll get something and come back. Well she didn't. She came later and I had called the list. This is obviously her scam. If she can get each interviewer to call a list then her job is done. What a scammer. DONT FALL FOR THIS. She said as I was leaving her boss would be there the next day and he would make the decision. This is a scam!!!! read more

As an owner of an Electrolux vacuum for 21 years, I have had good service over the years from this store. I recently had to replace my vacuum & couldn't afford to replace it with another Electrolux at the time. I fell by the wayside and bought a "cheaper" Meile vacuum. I will be replacing my original Elecrolux vacuum, in the future with like for like. I miss the quality of what I had before. It's the old adage, "You get what you pay for". Heading off today, to help a friend shampoo her rugs with my Electrolux shampooer, which many of my friends have borrowed over the years & rave about. Yes, its expensive. I went into the store with the intention of buying replacement vacuum bags. The rather aggressive sales woman stated she had packages of 48 and 24 bags only. As I walked out, she stated "I was "lucky" because she had one bag of 12 for $29.95. Not being satisfied with this single purchase, she tried to sell me a box of micro-filters, minimum of 4 for $60.00. My total purchase would be nearly $100!! She was very persistent that I maintain the vacuum or bad things would happen. I promptly excused myself and went to another neighborhood vacuum repair store in Temple City and purchased 12 bags and a bag of 2 micro-filters for a grand total of $17.90. I will never walk into that Aerus Electrolux again. What a complete rip-off. read more

I took my vacuum in for servicing. The woman who worked there, Kathy, I believe she said her name was, was very helpful answering all my repair questions. She gave me a date when my vacuum would be ready for pickup and called me because she had it back to me in half the time. I would recommend Aerus Electrolux and Kathy to all my friends and family.
