Joey and the team at Aero Shade were amazing and we are so happy with the services and quality of work they provided. we hired them for two phases of our house and they did all of the window treatments for our home. Regret I had a recent very bad experience at Aero Shade with 2 different sales people sending me down the street to a competitor for my order. The problem was the girls did not fillow up, refused my follow up calls and just did not want to help. Maybe my order was too small for them, but it wasn't for The Shade Store. I used Aeroshade for my whole house before & they were terrific. This time very upset. read more

They are amazing. Quality work, helpful staff, understand moving stress, and well priced.

Aero Shade was fantastic to work with, and a we want to give Arlen a huge shoutout for his help and patience. Long story short, we needed a window shade for our living room (to help blunt the strong afternoon sun) and decided to stop by Aero Shade to see what options we had. As with many home decorating projects, choosing the "right" solution presented us with an overwhelming number of possibilities (color, material, opacity, cost, etc.). But Arlen and the crew at Aero Shade went above and beyond. Arlen and his team spent at least an hour with us going over the myriad of options and gave us multiple samples to try at home. While there, we set up at at-home visit (for a free estimate). Arlen came by the next day; he took window measurements and gave us his recommendation for how to mount the shade. Within a few minutes, we had a quote (and Arlen made a point of saying that there was no pressure or rush to decide). After a wet winter, the sun finally returned, so we were anxious to place an order -- and that process was equally easy: we stopped by the store, paid the deposit and got a 2-week install estimate. Fast forward just three days! and the shades were ready. The installer came by on time and within 15 minutes, the job was done. Excellent service shouldn't be such a rarity, but since it is, it's important to recognize it. Aero Shade is a true mom-and-pop shop that's committed to taking care of its customers -- and this review is a thank you to everyone at Aero Shade who helped make our experience so good. read more

My family have been going to Aero Shades for decades and have always been satisfied with their service. I have sent them to several clients of mine and have only heard good things back. read more

Aero Shades is, without question, the best shades store in Los Angeles, in my opinion. In 2017, they installed bottom up shades for my balcony French door windows and my office, which allowed me protection from the blazing sun and allowed privacy and protection from outside annoyances. I have had zero problems with my shades until driving rains got to one of them last spring and it had to be re-stitched. I cannot recommend Joe or Phil from Aero Shades more highly to you. They fixed my issue within 24 hours! read more

All the folks at Aero Shade provided wonderful service specifying and installing the many new shades in our new Santa Monica home. I recommend them highly. read more

After being very disappointed with my experience with a competitor, I tried Aero based on reviews here. I could not have been happier. Good communication from the start. Rob showed up when he said he would. And my small job replacing a shade after putting in new windows was treated as if it was just as important as a big job. I will definitely use them again. Thanks Aero for making my life easier! read more

Had a problem with two large shades installed in my home in 2008 by Aero Shades. The shades suddenly were inoperable. I spoke with Joey at Aero Shades, he helped me resolve the problem without sending repair guys. I am most appreciative for his patience with me and all his suggestions to help resolve my issues. Highly recommended Aero shades to anyone looking for motorized shades. They truly do stand behind their work, thank you Joey. read more

I cannot say enough how great it was working with Arlen and everyone at Aero Shade. I got estimates from other people and quite frankly I had to become a shade expert because these people don't know what they are doing or talking about. Arlen knew exactly what I needed and we put it all together at a very good competitive price. He was very patient with my requests And then when the installer came, he was the best ever. I would give these guys 10 stars if that was an option. read more

Very happy with the motorized shade they installed for us. Jack was so great to work with and answered all of our questions (and we had many!). Installation was quick and no issues. Prices were very reasonable compared to other companies that provided quotes for us. I'd definitely recommend this company. read more

This is the second time I've used Aeroshade for my windows and once again, they did the most amazing job. Arlen and his installer (the best) took perfect measurements, helped me choose the right shades and delivered them within 2 weeks. If you hate dealing with windows (like I do and I procrastinated forever) just call Arlen. It's a game changer. read more

A wonderful company with kind and generous owners and a happy and skilled staff. I've taken shades in for repair over the years and also had them make new shades. Each job was done well, at a reasonable price and quickly. Everyone who helped me was courteous and kind. Unsolicited, the sales person who helped me told me she was so happy to work for the owners and it was a wonderful job. Wow. How often do you hear that from an employee these days? I can't recommend this company more. read more

These guys are the best. I've mostly had contact with Joey who's helped me trouble shoot on various occasions. He's always friendly, very helpful, and replies to me in a timely manner. I'd recommend them to anyone 100 times over! read more

Can't express enough about how great my experience was. From the jump, the team was informative and professional. Very patient though out the entire process to make sure we were completely satisfied. Used to be excellent but the excellent salesman left and service is not as good. Your service depends on the salesman. Does not appear to have a central person responsible. read more

My family has been going to Aero Shades for years. We've gotten at least 7 or 8 mini blinds from here I believe. Well recently one of the mini blinds stopped working properly. It wouldn't stay up so I brought it in to Aero to have them repair it. They've repaired other blinds of mine before for a reasonable fee. This time it didn't need any new parts so they fixed it within 5 days and didn't charge me anything. Try doing that with cheap mini blinds from the Home Depot!!!! Its a pleasure to purchase quality items from a place that will actually repair stuff and not just contribute to our culture of everything being disposable. read more

When looking for blinds & shutters, I asked a friend at nearby Lester Carpet for her recommendation, and she said Aero Shade is the best. She was right. Rob came out and understood exactly what I wanted. He addressed my concerns (having shutters for a sliding door and blinds on windows), and we found the perfect window treatments for my condo. My order was ready on time (actually a little early), and installers were on time and helpful. read more

I called a few local places inquiring about bottom-up shades with no luck and most suggested the more expensive alternative of top-down bottom-up shades. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and almost gave up until I contacted Aero Shades. The salesman, Rob, came out to my condo within the next few days to take measurements and was really professional about everything. He didn't try to sell me on the other more expensive styles (motorized, top-down bottom-up, etc) and brought a bunch of different samples to make my selection. Since I've very indecisive, I asked him to send me samples of a few of the fabrics along with a quote which he was glad to do and it arrived in just a few days. I was told a 2-3 week turnaround to cut/make the shades, but I wasn't in a rush. A few weeks later, Salvador, the installer came by and set everything up nicely. The shades came out just as I expected for the price. Nothing to complain about so far. There was a minor mistake on my final balance and Rob fixed it promptly. From my conversations with both guys, it seems like they do jobs all over the area including out of state. 5 windows approximately 5'x8' each was about $1000 total. (solar trans shade material) The entire process was convenient, especially that I didn't have to drive out to their store. Yes, I'm lazy. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Aero Shade. This company made every effort to cater to my needs. I made an appointment to have a salesperson visit me at home. He arrived on time, was very professional, assessed my windows and interior designs, measured all the windows, and showed me a myriad of options to choose from for window coverings. He explained and demonstrated the various factors one needs to consider when choosing coverings, from the aesthetics to the functional aspects of shade/light & privacy offered. He was very patient with me and my wife. We then scheduled a follow up appointment at the store on 3rd street to view even more samples in their showroom and decided on the cordless duets for most of the windows, balloon shades for the nursery, and linen drapes for the dining & living rooms. We later scheduled the installation appointment and the workmen arrived on time, were very professional, installed everything just as they had explained they would, and everything looks fantastic! The cordless duets are amazing. Everything dovetailed nicely with our current design motif, and as a result of the salesman's very helpful input we have fantastic light coming from the windows during the day & privacy when/where needed. I would highly recommend Aero Shade to anyone looking to redesign their home or office. read more

I had decided on Bottom-Up Shades which I found exceeding difficult to purchase in LA. I had two sources in Northern California but did not want to do the installation myself. I walked into AeroShade and met Chris who showed me the sample in the showroom and let me take home samples of several fabrics that I was interested in. Rob came out to measure the windows and answer my questions. He brought the sample book and I bought solar shades. I was told that it would be about 2 weeks. Well, 5 days later they were ready for installation. The installer [sorry, forgot his name] was very nice and did an excellent job installing 19 shades total! I put both the deposit and the final payment on my credit card, no problem. I would buy from AeroShade again. read more

I ordered roller shades from Aero for a loft. The sales person wasn't very knowledgeable and just tried to sell me what everyone else was getting. I told him multiple times that I wanted my room to be dark so I could sleep in during the morning. But he kept insisting that I wouldn't want black out shades. So I ordered what he suggested but wasn't satisfied. I had to order new black out shades and ended up paying for my shades twice. I should have listened to myself and ordered black out in the first place. Also the new blinds had a TERRIBLE chemical odor for the first day. I don't know why they couldn't air the blinds out before installing them. Instead I had to suffer through a miserable night of inhaling toxic fumes. read more

Joey and his team were fantastic. In spite of shopping around for fabric, ultimately, Joey found us a gorgeous selection for our bedroom drapes. His communication was first rate, and the workmanship in the final product is just wonderful. Ours was a difficult job because of an angled and sloping ceiling, and when the drapes arrived too long, Aero shade sent a seamstress on site, sewing machine in hand, to hem them perfectly.
