We bought our boat brand new from Anglers Marine in Anaheim, California in 2013 and faithfully serviced it there since new. The boat has been used mostly in coastal off shore waters from Long Beach to San Clemente and occasionally in the Colorado River in Arizona and Nevada. Well maintained and serviced every 2-years from bow to stern and the trailer no matter what, we fixed it. Our recent saga begins last January 2023 when the boat ran hot in the driveway during a routine start up. I called to make an appointment for service and was told the 1st available service appointment was April; 3-months out. With no other option we waited. During the service it was determined a thermostat housing was needing to be replaced and it was on backorder. So we waited for the part to come in...waited and waited. Still on backorder and the boat in storage unusable we moved to Kuna Idaho. I brought the boat up and put it in storage here while we continued to wait for the backordered part...March 2024 started to show some decent weather so I reached out to Indian Creek Sports & Storage just about 3-miles from my house. There I met Troy who patiently listened to my sob story and with his seasoned experience and advice he convinced me to bring it in for a look as he suspected the water pump and not the thermostat housing was the problem...I asked him if I needed an appointment and he simply said..."go get your boat and bring it in"...I was shocked...so I did. The boat was there for about a week at which time the backordered thermostat housing from Mercury Marine had come in and I took it over and delivered it to them. A day or two later I got a call from Darren who introduced himself as the mechanic working on my boat and he told me the water pump was in bad shape and best to replace it with the thermostat housing and then everything will be correct with a baseline for further diagnosis if required and I agreed. A few days later Darren called me said the boat is ready and runs perfect! My boat wasn't there more than 2 weeks including the time it took to get the water pump and during that time I also met Steve, Chris and others who are all very pleasant, approachable and knowledgeable....Once I got my boat home I carefully examined the work and I can say it looks like a factory installation. Perfect. As happy as I am to have this year long odyssey finally over I'm more pleased to have a trusted team of Marine engine and propulsion technical advisors and mechanics only 3-miles from my house who do what they say and don't mind explaining things in natural language.....and that Darren is a Genius!

Because of this oversight, the entire lower unit almost fell off while I was out on the water with my wife and daughter. It was a terrifying experience that put my family in direct danger. When I took the boat back, instead of apologizing for the mistake, the owner was incredibly rude. He blamed my motor's custom design for the issue, even though the real problem was his shop's failure to secure it properly. He eventually fixed it, but then called me just to gripe and complain about how he "wasted his time" on a "dumb motor." A professional shop should know how to follow basic safety specs the first time. The owner's lack of accountability and his aggressive attitude are completely unacceptable. Save yourself the stress and the safety risk, take your boat somewhere else!

The…read moreOEM foam had compressed and we needed a more ergonomic lumbar support on both front seats, which was basically non-existent from the Honda factory. After two days we picked up the car and the results were fabulous. The new foam was much more supportive, and you could not even tell that the seats had been uncovered. Finally having a decent lumbar support and more supportive foam really makes a difference in comfort. The price was reasonable, quality was like factory-new, and all seat functions worked as before. Chad interviewed us to establish our needs and we relied upon his expertise to create the detail job scope. Very pleased to be able to continue enjoying this car, hopefully for at least another four years.

SHOP DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!! Last September I took my 27' Ranger Tug to Canyon Marine…read moreto have the 1000hr maintenance done on the Yamaha 300HP outboard at the recommendation of my usual boat shop. The tech at my normal shop didn't feel qualified to do that level of service and said Casey at Canyon was more experienced. When I picked up the boat Canyon had done over $500 worth of work I had specifically told them not to do, that I would do myself. They also DIDN'T do some of the items I had requested they perform. When I got the boat home I found the oil level overfilled, so I pumped out some oil. It looked VERY unusual for brand new oil, like dark tea with a reddish tinge. I questioned whether it had even been changed but when I had it analyzed the lab said it looked clean so I dropped the issue. This May we launched the boat in Anacortes, WA and I started the motor for the first time since picking it up from Canyon Marine. We quickly discovered that the head was cracked and the motor was ruined. I called Canyon Marine at the time and left a voicemail message with the manager telling him about the failure. No one called me back. After I knew what the problem was and what the replacement motor cost would be I sent a letter to the manager at Canyon Marine detailing the issue and asking for a refund of the $2573 they charged me for the work. No one answered me. This motor cost tens of thousands of dollars to replace and all I asked for was what they charged me to ruin my outboard. The motor was running fine when I hauled the boat out last August before taking it to Canyon Marine. I had just run it from the Puget Sound to Alaska and back with a retired police officer who can attest to this. No one could determine the root cause of the failure so I can't prove Canyon Marine did this but it seems highly likely. Worked when I dropped it off, didn't work next time I started it after they serviced it. The customer service I experienced with this business has been truly abysmal.

Absolutely would NEVER recommend!!!…read more AVOID for all Minn Kota repair work! Took our Minn Kota Trolling Motor 36V Ulterra to them to fix the Auto stow. Less than 30 minutes on the water and dead again would not auto stow. We have taken it to them twice once in the dead of winter to give them plenty of time to take to trouble shoot it and figure out what was wrong. It appears they did nothing though they charged us a pretty penny.

You can see the entire text conversation we had in the photos I've submitted so that you can see evidence to back what I've said and also that what actually occured this fraudulent business differences significantly from what they will claim in their response. Horrible customer service only through texting and their technician never arrived nor contacted me directly despite several requests from me for the technician to contact me so that I could coordinate linking up with them at a large truck-stop. I sent in a Google Maps pin drop to my exact location. Once I was notified their technician had arrived I tried to establish contact with them through their text dialogue and only received automated messages in return and a video of their technician driving around the wrong truck-stop. I notified them their technician was at the wrong location and heard nothing back from 'Ingrid' their automated manager. Please see my attached photos of the entire conversation as proof of their lack of response and refusal to refund my money. Additionally I was advised to choose 'diagnostic' when I asked for a power steering line repair, and then after I paid was told they would only perform a diagnostic and something about conforming to state laws. This is entirely unacceptable as no state law prohibits them from repairing a power steering line as originally requested. Use this business at your own risk and do not trust what they say in their response. They were NOT at the correct location and never attempted to contact me to link-up. Trust the other negative reviews. $238.50 for a 'diagnostic' that they never performed and still charged me for. I used another mobile mechanic, Richard Wilson, with Elite Mobile Auto Repair who actually arrived and repaired my power steering line for $154 and even drove himself to three different auto parts stores to locate the correct parts. This is good service, not what 'Mobile Tech Auto Repair' does with stealing money for nothing. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and applicable licensing authorities and they received no response from the owners as this is a shell business set up under several different names and addresses. No business should be able to outright steal money for services willfully not performed.

I called the number and Chevy is the name of the person who I spoke with. Made an appointment for today at 4pm and he was at my place on time. What I liked about this is that the mechanic comes to you its a $90 dollar to diagnose the problem and if and gives you a prices of how much it's gonna cost and if you choose to go with him he applies the $90 dollars to the full price. I asked him to look at my other vehicle and he fixed everything on it and changed my battery. Chevy is super nice and he enjoys working on cars. He was fixing my cars while I made dinner love that instead of waiting in a lobby or having to get a rental or a ride home to have someone work on my car. 1.5 hours of labor done at home.
