I wish I could go back in time so I wouldn't make the mistake of hiring Pickard. If you are…read morelooking to complete a project in a timely fashion, without mistakes, and with someone that actually follows through with the project, please look elsewhere. Pickard delayed my project, made mistakes, and he was nowhere to be found when the city inspections took place. Then at the end, he had the audacity to charge me more in order to complete what he was legally obligated to prepare within the contract price. I had no other option than to pay him just to get city approval and be done with this unprofessional company. Mind you, this wasn't an insignificant project, this was a 1 million+ project. At the beginning, he does whatever he can to entice you to use him. He will say that he's a licensed attorney so he can deal with any city hiccups, that he has worked on big projects with well-known companies, such as Disney, and everything under the sun. Once you hire him, good luck getting him to perform. I had stressed to him that time was of the essence. I needed this project to completed ASAP. I guess ASAP has a different meaning to him. Well, I hired him in March 2015 and in August 2018 I was still dealing with him. That's when he and his friend were holding part of my plans hostage in exchange for additional payment. Then the lies. During the city permit process, he would tell me that the city was to blame for the delays. Well, I called the city and it turned out that the city had requested the same thing from him three different times and he wouldn't provide what they were asking for him. So, he was the cause of the delay - he didn't know what he was doing. My contractor found so many mistakes on the plans, that I couldn't believe that a licensed architect would allow such to be presented to the city. For example, he had wall lights as the lights that would go on the parking lot light posts. Then, he would include interior light fixtures that wouldn't be supported with the wiring inside the building. He will push for his contractor to be hired. The contractor underprices everything so that he can present to you a low bid, and then I am sure once you hire him he will say that the allowances are not sufficient to cover whatever material it was allocated to. There were sooooo many issues with Pickard that it would take weeks for me to finish this review. Just avoid yourself the headache and DON'T use him. He's unprofessional, a liar, doesn't know what he is doing, and has no business being in business.

Please be advised Oriel Z nor anyone from TMG has never hired me or consulted me for any legal matters and were never my clients. I hired this company to make me a website, which they have failed to provide me. Oriel's review of my business is good example of how unprofessional this company truly is. Please see it here- http://www.yelp.com/biz/law-offices-of-lisa-z-liu-alhambra Then, after posting the review on my yelp page, on 1/25/16, Joon Kim from TMG emailed me, and offered to give a refund but $500 dollars for the "design" they created, and additionally wrote that they wrote me a bad review, which they will remove only if I remove my yelp review of their business. This is extortion and flat-out retaliation for my honest review. What will be next? Actions speak louder than words and what this company did, above, speaks for itself. ********** Oriel, Joon Kim from your company is the one who said "Goodbye"on text message to me back in early December 2015 and no one from your business reached out to me since you took my money and refused to return any of it AND I still have not received any completed design or website. If you fulfilled your side, where is my website or completed design? Absolutely NO denying and NO apology for the blatant unprofessionalism that I have experienced. So far, NO immediate refund for nonperformance of work. No finished design, let alone a working website. Since my honest review of your company was posted, I have not received any calls, text messages or emails from this company. I only received the public message posted on this page. If you are really open to resolving this issue, then please refund me my money. I am open to resolving it and receiving a refund for my wasted time and energy. If you refund it, I will update the review to state the fact that at least my money is returned. *****As long as I have not received any refund, this statement will still be up.****** NO denying that they wanted to report me to the State Bar for stating my honest opinion of them. NO comment on the fact that you wrote a yelp review for your OWN company. Truly a VERY HONEST COMPANY. NOT. Is this the kind of company you want to deal with? My credit card company and not bank is still investigating this issue. It is currently not closed. It is very unprofessional for Oriel to give the impression that this dispute is closed. I am very confident my credit card company will issue a refund, especially since for the second payment, I gave them my AMEX Credit Card to charge, only when I receive my completed website. However, without my authorization, they recharged my Chase Credit Card before I received any website or finished design. This can be basically considered Identity Theft. They well knew that I did not approve the Chase Card charge, and Joon stated that in his google voice text messages to me. I will update this once the Credit Card company closes the dispute. Until then, it is still open. -- Regarding the website --- Oriel's comment: "UPDATE: Did you not approve the design work? Did we not fulfill our obligation to do 2 revisions and we went and approved 4 revisions? The reason you wanted a refund is because you wanted to continue to have design edits without paying for services. You will see she will avoid this question since all our approvals are done via email for record keeping." If I approved, why would I want additional changes for free? If I approved, why do I still have no website or completed design? This makes absolutely no sense.

It was a big waste of time and money 1,000 down the drain, this guy is so unprofessional. I placed the order Nov 25th and asked if it would be ready before january 3rd and he said yes that it takes about 2 weeks to get everything done and that was a big LIE. He came to take the pictures with a regular phone when we were thinking it would've been a camera first red flag and then he wasn't answering our calls and said only "text". Weeks almost a month goes by and he still isn't done designing it ? I told him the changes and he would do the opposite. He's all over the place saying he's busy with other orders when i paid him to do that, he kept going back to "you signed a contract" to excuse him taking long . He kept saying send me a email with you canceling the order , i never sent the email he just texted me you canceled the order and kept my 1,000 and said speak to my lawyer . This is unprofessional we had an opening with out the menus and i ended doing my own menus in 2 days which i should've done since the start. I've been really busy but will look into the lawyer thing because the contract says "Define Design Printing has the right to cancel this invoice / contract at any time."
