Simon took care of all our needs and more. To be especially noted is the peaceful setting, views and lack of noise and smells that you often worry about. Accessibility is great, visiting hours and amount of visiting guest traffic balanced. We never worried about safety or special needs requests. Steve

The home has an excellent atmosphere with open spaces, clean wood floors with minimal obstructions, a sunny patio with a view of Puget Sound, and a mostly warm and professional staff. There's a caregiver on premises overnight, with two caregivers often overlapping in the morning and evening hours. The caregiver-prepared food is good. Caregivers are attentive to medication administration, bathing care, making sure my mom gets enough water, and keeping tabs when she's in the bathroom. In addition they assist with the extras that come up - things like helping mom and us try on different sizes and kinds of underwear to see what fits and what she prefers, or curling my mom's hair in the morning before I pick her up for church. The owners, Simon and Marina, are flexible and work with families to make their loved ones comfortable. Musical performers visit a couple of times a month. We're happy my mom lives in a place she feels comfortable, safe and cared for.

My mother is 92 years old and was looking for a place to stay that could meet her needs now and as she ages further. She loved the apartment and the meal plan options, as well as the ability to meet others with so many planned activities. She also has a dog and is happy to be able to have her move with her. Billy and Andrea did a great job with a tour of the facility and carefully going over the contract agreements. Andrea was great relating directly with my mother to ensure she understood everything. Billy took extreme care to ensure my mother's needs were met and covered in every way. The welcoming was wonderful! We really appreciate the personal care both took in addressing my mother's needs and the concerns of her family.

Review of Cogir Queen Anne Assisted Living Community…read more Greetings! I almost never write reviews but I had to for Queen Anne Cogir. I can't say enough good things about this place. My Mom was in the assisted living building and I was constantly amazed at the level of care she received. Everyone was extra helpful and went out of their way to make sure she felt special. The "care team" members including house keeping established friendships with her and treated her as if she were their own mother. I can't remember all their names but I do remember Natasha and her sister (who was Natasha's supervisor) and Amena. Marnie Walker the Sales Manager was the one who helped us make the decision to choose Cogir Queen Anne and we never had cause to regret it. I'm not sure how the management has been able to assemble such a caring and positive staff. Everyone we dealt with (and I mean literally everyone from the front desk to the kitchen workers) was upbeat, happy and seemed to genuinely like their job. I compliment Ken Klotz Executive Director for cultivating such an inviting climate. Maria Crespo the Business Office Manager was always ready with a cheerful and caring attitude to help with not just financial issues but with anything else needed. Ernie Vigil the Health and Wellness Director manages always to make time for an informal chat and was a real blessing in answering any questions we might have and taking a personal interest in Mom's well being. Mom loved the food and the warm, cheerful atmosphere in the lobby. You can see why I give Cogir Queen Anne five stars and "two thumbs up" Mike Carrigan

Other facilities had a minimum of two weeks or more. My relative ended up needing to live in an assisted living facility. She moved in to Village Green the summer of 2024. Since then she's been happy there. The staff are all very nice and welcoming. The place is clean and doesn't smell like urine. I like how they decorate for all holidays especially for Christmas. Village Green is located on SW Barton across the street from Westwood Village. It makes it handy that Target, Ross, Marshalls, Starbucks, QFC, Daiso and the post office and other businesses are located at Westwood Village in case you need any supplies, clothes or food items. Village Green is an assisted living facility in addition to having apartments for independent living.

I thought I was going to have to move her but Amber the nurse and Eva the manager were so great about providing options and resources so she can stay there for the rest of her life, hopefully. I love this place because it's smaller and not so overwhelming like so many other places. The owner is there a lot and always talks with the people who live there. You would never know he was the owner. He's just a nice older gentlemen who is truly interested in the people who live there. I can't say enough about the place. Its older but its clean and doesn't smell. The people who work there are great and have been there a long time. They have some really fun events to keep the people happy. They always invite family. The grounds are really pretty too. Very wooded, like a secret garden. One day I saw a baby racoon and a squirrel in a tree. So sweet. I'm just grateful for the way they treat my gran. Thank you.
