We re-set it and now we have power back outside. It was a 5 minute fix. So to make the best use of my money, I pointed out a few other things. A WiFi light switch that he couldn't fix, and some recessed lights that needed replacing. I figured that he did not have the parts on his truck so I told him I could call the office and make an appointment. He told me it would be cheaper if he just went and did it today, so he went back to the office and got the parts. He came back and installed two replacement recessed lights in my kitchen. In the end, the entire job took 58 minutes so I was charged one hour plus parts. It didn't even come to $230. The best part though is the customer service! He went out to his truck and got a broom and dustpan to clean up after himself. I told him I appreciated it, but I could sweep. It's those fine details that make this the only electrician that I will do business with. As long as they are in business, they will have me as a customer.

We had a local man come out to assess who said the job was just not doable for him at that point. He had too many other appointments scheduled and what we needed would take up more time than he had. So he recommended Red Royal. They came out that same day and told us what the problem was. Power from the pole died due to the line being old and it not being buried in a tube. Replacement needed. They were out the following day and started digging WITH SHOVELS. They almost finished the job but the part they needed to connect to the box was not available until Monday. Back early on Monday they got the power going. Inspectors came out (Dunedin) and approved the job. They came back out and buried the line and left it looking like brand new. I cannot give enough props to the two men that were out here. Professional and hard working + friendly. We recommend Red Royal to everyone. Cannot say enough positive things about them. So at the start of COVID I accidentally broke the light that hung over our kitchen table. I…read moresearched around online to find a replacement shade for the bulb since that was really all that broke but found nothing. We got some recommendations to check this place out once everything reopened. I am so happy we did not settle for anything we found online. For those of you who are concerned about the virus, they have masks available for free at the entrance and they keep everything as clean as possible. As you shop around the place, there are rooms on the all off to the sides of the main room. Each one of these rooms lights up when you walk in showing off a different type of room you have in your house and a variety of possible lights for that room. Some are on the expensive end, but if you are on a budget you can still find something at an affordable price. The staff is also very friendly. We needed the rods that hang our light fixture from the ceiling to be a little longer. When we asked if there was anyway we could get them extended, they gave us the extra rods from the display and even said they would have happily ordered some for us if needed. All in all, if you want to brighten up your house, head down here.

I heard about Brandon Lighting from past clients and it was within 5 miles from our place so we decided to give it a go. My clients come from South Tampa and told me that they drive to this store because they had really good options without the S.Tampa price. This is a hidden gem of a place! They have little display rooms within the building that have different ambiances for you to be able to visualize the lighting fixtures in an area that they would look really good in. We found our new fixture in the room that was painted light blue, since it was closest to the color scheme we have in the room where the light would be installed. The colors worked perfectly once it was up! There are so many options, and the prices were not bad at all. Kimon was the lady who helped us with the buying process, and she was super helpful. She provided catalogues, helped us with the dimensions of the fixture, and made sure we had enough hanging height to make it perfect for our home. We picked it up the next day and everything was packed and ready to go. Regarding covid precautions: they provide masks and have markers all over the place. It is not crowded at all and maintaining 6ft distance is very doable. I highly recommend this business.
