In reality they are peeved that I posted my honest online review. Years ago when they were in a nondescript office complex, they did not enforce their cancellation policy. Over nearly a decade I cancelled 3 appts (they were petty enough to comb their records & check) and that is only because I was genuinely sick. If I had to pay fees for these missed appts I never would have continued services here & definitely would not have pre-paid thousands in cash for 6 microneedling treatments in 2026. They do not do anything special in comparison to other medspas and the only reason I kept going here is to not get hit with surprise rules (like this newfound enthusiasm for previously unenforced policies). They recently moved to a new building which now they apparently have to pay out the wazoo for and suddenly they are enforcing anything & everything to wring you dry. They also see fit to arbitrarily double these fees whenever they feel like it from $75 to $150 w/ no rhyme or reason. Do not believe the sweet as pie "girl how you doin" jazz. They are 2-faced mean girl bullies to the core. They finally canceled my upcoming appointment and have agreed to refund me my remaining balance, which I asked for 3 months ago bc I do not feel comfortable with these people. At that time they refused to refund me bc it was against their "policy." Well what do you know another policy has changed overnight!! Another Trouvé sleight of hand. There will be many of those.Half of my sessions were also performed by non-RN's for procedures that are not just surface level peels but more invasive like microneedling. This is certainly not anything I have encountered at other med spas at this price point. Here's where it gets good : They had the nerve to: 1.) email, 2.) text AND 3.) send me a typed letter to my home about my future appt they were canceling and the return of my balance as if I am being canceled a front row seat with the Pope & not being given the favor of no longer having to frequent some dodgy medspa. I guess some people (rando nobodies who have gotten in over their heads with expanding their business) just have to do things in triplicate w/o addressing the real reason they're angry to make themselves feel vindicated. Ok divas: if you are holding onto someone's money she prepaid give it back to her when she no longer wishes to do business with you and your passive aggressive tendencies can remain in the dark & reviews would not expose you. The nerve they had to act like it was all their idea in the first place to refund me my money and cancel my appointments, using such emphatic language to boot LOL keep the letters coming. Next are you going to get a hot air balloon in front of my house telling me my appointments are canceled? A message in a bottle by way of Lake Erie? ‍ Smoke signals? Bc you have exhausted the known communications technologies of Western civilization. The Trouvé experience: getting hit with ridiculous fees out of nowhere (& have them double!) and then when you're puzzled about it get told they are suddenly enforcing policies that have been dormant for the entirety of the business. Ask to have your cash balance returned and future appts cancelled & they refuse & then have them abruptly change their mind be they rewrite policies to favor their interests and not the consumer. Have invasive procedures performed by estheticians not RN's. Expose them and watch them throw a hissy fit but in person experience profound cognitive dissonance when they "heyyyyy bestie!" you (ie empty playacting devoid of sincerity.) A medspa sells something unusually dependent on trust, reputation and atmosphere. Prospective clients are wondering, Are these people competent? Will they treat me well? Is this place worth the premium for expensive elective treatments? Answer: RUN! Avoid these mercenary snakes!

I'm sure the gals sensed my anxiety and they made it a very relaxing experience. Place was really clean and classy. Service was very casual and non-intimidating. I got the work done right before I attended a wedding with some friends in California and the compliments I received at the reception was a testament to the good job this med spa did. My recommendation? Don't go for the cheapest game in town. Lots of budget skin clinics out there. Invest in a quality, honest service , like the gals at Grace B and you won't be disappointed.

However, I had a last-minute work trip come up and had to get some vaccines prior to my travel. When I called 24 hours prior to my appt (after Labor Day weekend) to check if it would be safe for me to still get Botox, I was advised that I should not get Botox within one week of the vaccines. I asked to reschedule my appointment and was advised that I would be charged $125 cancellation fee. I feel that not only is the fee exorbitant, given that I was trying to reschedule based on their advice, NOT cancel; and it is unclear that reschedules fall under the cancellation policy which reads: " Appointments must be cancelled 3 business days in advance. If you do not cancel within 3 business days, you will be charged a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are based on the service. If you need to reschedule, you can do so by phone. Email and social media messages are not acceptable." I even asked if I could get a different service done in lieu of Botox but was advised only the injector was working on the day of my appointment. I will not be back and cannot recommend this business to anyone else.

The Well House offers everything from massage, to facials, to halotherapy and more advanced cosmetic medical services. I assumed they were more of a serious medical spa, but they do offer traditional spa services. A friend had suggested trying a B12 shot to potentially improve some health issues I had been having. I booked easily online for a 5-minute B12 injection with nurse practitioner Mikayla. It will ask you to book for 15 minutes, but know you'll be in and out! Mikayla was approachable, warm and made me very comfortable. I would easily recommend her if she is available at booking for any future services you might need. The Well House is a really interesting historical building. It combines old roots with modern touches and the owner continues to put a lot of effort into the maintenance of the space. They have multiple floors including a halotherapy room! For accessibility purposes, an elevator is available for use. If you're a consistent high-end spa goer, they do offer membership packages. Overall, I had an extremely positive experience here and can't recommend them enough!

Interaction with Physician: The physician was kind, attentive and concerned. Everything you want to feel when meeting with someone who you've decided should be in charge of your care. He gave me a recommendation based on the very short observation he made of my scalp. (That's why it was cheap I guess.) Observation being completed, I went out to pay for my services. Plus two stars!! Honesty: I gave insurance information for my visit and later received a letter asking for $328!!! After speaking to the receptionist to find out why it wasn't the $100 she initially stated, I was still left in awe as she couldn't even explain why the price was 3x more than what was expected. My trust is completely lost in this business and I will NEVER go again. Minus all stars!!!! Not even one! OVERALL REVIEW: Be careful when going here Yelpers. I don't know the reason for the change in price but I think it might have been because they were trying to get all they could from my insurance.
