On Thursday, June 30th I left a voicemail asking for a return call. Friday, July 1st I sent a text as asking for a follow up. Tuesday, July 5th, I called the branch asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to Tawny (last named sounded the same as Mike's, but not certain) and had to leave a voicemail asking for a return call. It's now, July 6th and I've not heard anything. I called another mortgage company, he took my info and called me back in 10 minutes to let me know I was approved. I've got excellent credit, job and income, I'm not difficult to approve. The lack of communication from this company is unbelievable! I'd recommend going ANYWHERE else but Parker Mortgage. It's now July 20th and other than a call from someone asking about my employment NO ONE has reached out. They ran my credit, it shows on my report, but ZERO communication. I found a home to buy, my offer was accepted and my financing is squared away... no thanks to Parker Mortgage. Stay far, far away!!

It was a boring grey day, kind of spritzing light rain outside. When I walked it, every corner of the office that I could see was absolutely buzzing with activity. Phones were ringing, people were walking around talking to each other and on their phones. For a second, I stood there soaking it in, thinking to myself that it felt like a scene from a movie where they were exaggerating all the office sounds for effect. But this was real. Anyway, I asked an employee if this was the right spot to drop off our check and she replied very kindly that it was. She took our check, some detailed information, and that was that. The first few weeks went oddly smooth enough. Got the paperwork signed all documents turned in and then came the appraisal. After forking over the six hundred bucks seems all communication came to a stand still months went by with no word. After repeated calls and left messages March rolls around and finally someone would pick up the phone and introduced himself as Marks Supervisor in charge and would be more than happy to look into it for us. After nearly a week went by and no word no anything. Called back and finally got ahold his " Supervisor" and he explained that the person that helped us, some Mark, mishandled quite a few others paperwork didn't have a count on hand but that there was a big theft falsifying of records and so on. When asked why couldn't they just follow thru with what they started since we've already paid for the appraisal and was told we'd have to literally start the process all over again and that they would gladly refund the price of the appraisal and he'd personally would send out the paperwork to get us started. Over a week later still no application and the refund of the appraisal was nada. Couldn't get anyone to answer our calls, emails or pleas just to at the very least follow thru on the refund of the appraisal so that we could proceed with a different company. Here it is heading into a year from which we started this freaking nightmare and still nothing about paying back for the appraisal nor the new application. This company is a damn joke. We couldn't have been the only ones that they've done this to from what we were told . Anyone else have this type of unprofessional, scandalous, lying, thieving situation with these jokers? Been reported to the OIG, Federal Trade Commissions Bureau of Consumer Protection. We will get our money back from this fraudulent transaction attempt by Cross Country Mortgage.
