We met with Aaron S. Brown. His explanations were clear, and he gave us exactly the information we needed to proceed. He even prepared us with information we did not know to ask about, further clarifying the process. We have been working with another mortgage broker for months, jumping through hoops just to be met with further hoops. Within days of calling and minutes of meeting with a First Option representative, we accomplished more than we had after months' working with the other. Mr. Brown was very clear, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. The day of our visit, there was a winter storm and we had car trouble which delayed us a few hours. Mr. Brown accommodated our last-minute emergency, and was still able to meet with us within minutes of our arrival at the office--no wait, no hassle, all assistance and answers. Every time I call I get some other recommendation of how to get the issue resolved. I even spoke to a manager who told me to directly mail documents to Freedom Mortgage in Indiana to resolve this issue. After mailing the documents, I call back to ensure they've received after tracking verified they had arrived. They say they can't find them. The next representative I spoke to who couldn't find them said I could just upload the documents. After uploading, they just send me a generic, ambiguous message saying they are working on it. Unacceptable if you have a choice, avoid this company at all costs.

Lots of closing companies out there, try a different one. I haven't had these problems before with any other title companies, and I've worked with Lots. Investors title could have called and told me so I didn't have to drive 45 minutes up here now have to drive 45 minutes home and back up here again. BS. Why didn't they push closing? This is day one stuff for a closing company. I always use Voyager title and love their service but the buyer picked this spot, will never agree to use investors title again.
