I brought it up, from Bloomington, and anticipated that I would have to leave it for a repair or that it couldn't be repaired; it is about 48 years old. Dan looked at it and thought it might be the capacitor, which it almost always is, and that is no longer made for this older model. I was devastated, but he then thought it could be the foot control pedal; he opened the old one and found that it had a hole in the rubber balloon in it, not a common issue. He had one on stock; we hooked it to machine and it worked like a charm. I was so happy and told him that it made my weekend. I bought the new pedal and got to take my trusty machine home with me. Yeah! I highly recommend this shop and if I do ever need a repair, I will bring it 150 miles, again. Thanks Dan

In…read moreeach case, the service was professional and amazingly well done when I received the garments back. I think the value is outstanding for the quality of the work that is offered. I just had a sportcoat repaired that had a rip in the sleeve. I COULD NOT tell at the time when I picked it up where the repair was! Yes, it sometimes takes a while to get the garments back, but each time I was given a date when I dropped off the garment and it was ready when I showed up to pick it up. I don't care as much about the time. I'm not really able to use the articles anyway, since they needed repairs or alterations, and the timeframe has always been within reason. I highly recommend ZNY for any repair or alteration work!

I drove to her shop and talked a bit, then she went to business, measuring my cuffs. Just a few days later I was able to pick up my pants. About four weeks ago, I brought to City Cleaners in the Trig's mall about 12 feet of 63" draperies to be cleaned. I was told that they would take about 10 days to clean and press. These draperies cover my front, lakeside windows. When I hadn't heard back in two weeks, I called the owner who said his "presser" was a little overwhelmed. Since that conversation, I spoke with this man approximately six times because we have to leave for our suburban Chicago home on Monday, the 25th. When I called him this a.m., he said, "Yes, he had them." I said, "Great!" and took off from my Manitowish Waters home immediately. When I got to City Cleaners, he brought out my draperies in a black plastic bag, AND INFORMED ME THAT THEY HAD NOT BEEN PRESSED OR CLEANED. I was speechless. I must return to Chicago and cannot leave these windows uncovered due to sun, lake, and snow fading! I cannot stop shaking nor can I eat. I have no idea what I am going to do. I will, however, CONTACT THE CORPORATE OFFICE. Do I have a lawsuit?
