As I headed to the back of the store. I was yelled at. She yelled backpacks at the front of the store Now! It was very rude! If this is how you treat people. I will never donate to you again. An associate/sales person angerly told me that the drop-off is outside then kept repeating "can't you see it!" several times while pointing outside. Then I was told that the place is full and don't need anymore donations. I will never donate or support this ungrateful company who thinks humiliating me in front of customers is o.k. Give to St. Vinnies, animal shelters, at least they don't pay their CEO millions of dollars!

For a small town, there are tons of donations to this place, which is really cool. You can find some pretty interesting items here that make your mouth drop and so you cannot walk out with out it! I've gotten a few things from here over the years.. many shirts, games, and weird 80s style dresses! basically awesomeness has been found here in my life! It's been a while since I've been back in there, and sadly, since I moved away, it's loveliness has been replaced with better thrift stores, but i have a couple trips planned over the summer to visit Washburn again, so, for sure, I will be making another stop in soon!

Completely volunteer-run, this shop really has some cool stuff. Make sure you check out what's in the cases, as one special volunteer looks up all the vintage treasures and decides how to price them. The people here really care about animals and donate their time and goods to make animals' lives better. While I was there, I heard several conversations sharing the love of animals and even saw a few people stop in to donate their unique treasures. I especially loved the craft section, Vintage Christmas ornaments, the jewelry section, and enjoyed looking through the records.
