Also big shout out to our commissioner Brennan who has really taken the league to the next level. He's always keeping the website up to date with the latest standings, sending out weekly reminder emails, and makes sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

Therefore, it was impossible to actually bring up the issue before registration ended. 2) Your rule is the issue. Hypothetically you can have a team of 8 players (not your full 9) and then have a group of 3 added for a total of 11 as highlighted by Mr Mitchell as being the maximum cap. 11 people for a 6 v 6 is the issue. It's that simple You say this limits forfeits which is a lame excuse considering you actually have a pretty decent sub system. Having a large team is not accommodating the group of three, it's just a way to have more players in the league to make more money. Go to a game and watch. Tell me sitting on the sideline is fun. Once again. Go somewhere else. Better leagues for half the price.

The level of care, familiarity, and genuine warmth the staff shows is something you simply can't fake. They greeted members by name, every member... and what impressed me even more was how they extended that same attentiveness to guests. As someone visiting with members, I felt welcomed, seen, and treated with the same level of respect as their long time regulars. Our server was an absolute joy. Gracious, informed, and effortlessly charming. Every question we asked was answered in detail, and her suggestions ended up being exactly what we didn't know we needed. We started with the shrimp cocktail, beautifully presented on a chilled plate with perfectly poached shrimp arranged over cucumbers. The shrimp were sweet and fresh, and paired with a tangy, spicy house made cocktail sauce that had just the right kick. A simple appetizer, but done exactly right and matched perfectly with my martini (or 2). For entrées, our table ordered a mix, and every dish was consistent, well-prepared, and beautifully plated: Salmon - My dish was the salmon, cooked to that perfect point where it's still moist and buttery inside with a crisp, lightly seasoned exterior. It came atop a delicate bed of seasonal vegetables, and the accompanying gorgonzola butter added brightness without overpowering the fish. Ribeye Steaks (three at the table) - Thick-cut, well-marbled cooked precisely to temperature. Each steak had a gorgeous sear that locked in every bit of flavor, and the richness of the meat paired flawlessly with their velvety mashed potatoes and they all got the sweet potato dish. The guys seem to always get this. Another Fish Entrée - The other seafood dish (the local white fish special) was tender and flaky with a lemon caper butter sauce that gave it a rich finish. It seemed light and satisfying from what I could tell. What stood out most was the consistency. My dining companions, who frequent the club, said every visit is this good and based on my experience, I believe it. The food, service, and atmosphere came together to create a classic country club dining experience elevated by the warmth and familiarity of a team that clearly cares. Overall, dining here felt like slipping into a place where hospitality still means something, where the staff remembers your face, your preferences, and genuinely wants you to enjoy your time. As a guest, I couldn't have been more impressed. If you ever get the chance to dine at the Arizona Country Club, don't hesitate. It's a truly special experience.

Coach House is a year-round Christmas-themed bar. Located in Old Town Scottsdale, a block or two away from Fifth Avenue, there's a parking lot that was pretty full when I arrived. If you can't find a spot, you can find some free street parking close by (max of three hours). Ambiance (4/5): A lot of holiday pop-ups these days have entrance fees and expensive holiday-themed cocktails. You'll find none of that pretentiousness here. There's no entrance fee and no elaborate cocktails. The reason to visit is the multitude of Christmas lights that adorn both the patio and the indoor area. There are also a bunch of TVs which makes it a good spot to check out the game. It's mostly a patio bar, but there is some room indoors too. As well as Golden Tee and another game. Service (4.5/5): There's a bouncer checking your ID before you come in. From there, there's a larger bar inside where you can order a drink from one of two bartenders (at least when I was there) or a smaller outdoor bar with one bartender (at least when I was there). There's a cash discount (which I always appreciate). What that means is that they don't charge you tax if you pay by cash. While the bar was busy, the bartenders working were efficient. Food (N/A): Coach House doesn't serve food but they did have a Mexican food truck posted up on the patio while I was there. I didn't have any food during my visit though. Drinks (N/A): Since The Coach House is a dive bar, expect a full bar, but don't expect fancy cocktails. Ordering simple mixed drinks or beer is the way to go. They were out of Montucky Cold Snacks so I went with a Woodchuck Cider for $6. Affordable prices in the heart of Scottsdale... I'll take that any day of the week! Speaking of Christmas miracles, while I was sipping my beer on the patio, I saw two black SUVs pull up. A group of people came out of the cars and there was one person who I immediately recognized. Former NBA MVP and multiple NBA all-star Steve Nash! As a big basketball fan, having a brew at the same bar as a Phoenix Suns legend was pretty epic. On Christmas nonetheless.
