The Move Caddies

4/17/2023 Pack and Unpack Boxes…read moreWe recently moved to Windsor, and needed help unloading three 16 ft. PODS with a household full of furniture and heavy boxes. The Moving Caddies came to my rescue and unloaded and placed the furniture and boxes just where I wanted it, in a timely manner. They were very professional and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate using them again.

To start, the two movers were kind and polite - I want to give them credit for that. My reservation was for 12 PM, and I was told they'd arrive between 12-1, but I didn't receive a clear heads-up on timing and they showed up at 11:58 AM. They began billing as soon as they arrived, and since I don't live on-site and was running behind picking up the truck, I ended up being billed for that time. I understand part of that is on me for running late, but clearer communication would have helped. Unfortunately, the actual move is where things went downhill. Furniture was dropped, pushed through doorways, and not handled with much care. I have a white couch that I've kept in great condition, and they laid it on its side and dragged it across the floor of the storage unit and truck. By the end, it was covered in black dust. At the time, I was trying to be understanding and didn't say much - especially since the manager asked for feedback over the phone while I was standing right next to the movers. After everything was done, I discovered damage to multiple door frames in my home. That was the tipping point for me. I now have to pay for repairs and likely professional cleaning for the couch. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but given the extent of the damage, I felt it was important to share.

Organized By Keli & Co

Keli sent a team of 4 and in 4 hours they had space planned the kitchen, unpacked all three boxes, and put everything away. Then they moved into the playroom where they organized and put away all the toys and started on 2 kids rooms and my closet! I was blown away with how much they got done in such a short time. I plan to have them back once all of our belongings arrive to do the garage and office!

I absolutely am a fan and endorse her work based on my experience. I originally called Organized by Keli because I was moving in from out of state and I had sprained my ankle badly right before the move. I knew I would need help so I interviewed via email and phone a few organizers I found via Google and Yelp in the area. I found Keli easy to talk with and liked how she worked. What I didn't have a good time with, however, was with the movers. Turns out my ankle injury was to have time to heal before our stuff would arrive due to a serious truck driver shortage and our belongings remained in a warehouse waiting for a driver... for 40 days. It was over a month before I can give Keli an actual date range when our stuff would finally arrive... at a time when my husband would be away and I would have to tackle it all solo. When I booked and pre-paid Keli, just knowing that she would be coming with her team helped me to be more relaxed about the daunting task ahead. When the items were finally piled in my house, Keli was able to work flexibly with me on getting her team out to help me. My ankle was healing but the arrival of our things means there was only two weeks before the kids start their school year! Talk about being behind an eight ball! Luckily Keli had a great team of people who put in 24 hours of man hours in a day. They were able to get the Kitchen AND Master Bedroom with 2 closets all done in the first day! Second day they worked on the office, basement, and kids bedrooms. Keli and her team are the nicest people who I definitely didn't mind around my house and around my kids. I ended up purchasing a few extra hours outside of my package to fine-tune things and I am also super thankful for the team helping to get rid of all the boxes that were processed!

In Sept i hired this company based on their "good reviews". They moved me from our home to a storage facility in Loveland. During that move out they damaged one of our living spaces beds To there credit they brought it to my attn - at the time i was ok with it because they promised to take care of the damage. This past weekend they were to move me out of storage and to my new place. During the move they informed me that one of my dressers also had damage. they tried to put the blame on me even though they MOVED the dresser out during the initial move to the storage facility and never brought any damage to it to my attn it was never touched again from that move out day After some haggling on the phone the owner and i agreed to compensation than a few minutes later i was told owner wanted me to PAY bill BEFORE they unloaded my belongings which i agreed to. I than told the employee running the move ( one of 2 ) people on the job that i wanted it in writing they would fix the damage they did to my bed in the original Sept move to the storage facility. WELL within minutes of my asking to put that in writing i was told. We DONT feel comfortable in moving you and they have the right to stop the move - that they would place my furniture BACK into the cleaned out storage unit Needless to say i was at a loss and totally upset. the two employees actually felt as i did but of course didnt want to lose there job so in the end my furniture was put back inside storage unit Fortunately for me the storage facility recommended another company. i moved out a few days later totally satisfied with the second company and SAVED over $1000 I was told that i would receive a call on Friday ( today ) to discuss compensation for the damage caused. Never received a call. Don't expect one. planning on litigation BUYER BEWARE
