I had called looking for specific comics ( I seem to call hobby stores with very niche requests) and the gentleman who answered said he had what I was looking for, and more. Here's the catch, I called 5 mins before close and was 6 mins away. He generously said he would be hanging around the shop and it wouldn't be a bother for me to come in late. Pulled in, and he helped me get everything I needed. Not to mention the cost was incredible fair and well below the budget I had placed for myself. Outside of the amazing customer service, the store is incredibly organized, clean and bright. I'm excited to come back when they aren't closed and browse around.

What greeted me was a snarky welcome and an automatic coffee machine with burned, unflavored and unbalanced coffee. If you're a person who truly appreciates good tasting coffee, this IS NOT your solution. I'd recommend 10 minute drive to Morse coffee instead. For the same price you'll be delivered a crafted coffee rather than a machined coffee that can only serve coffee one way.

I love this fun bookstore in downtown Oregon City. They have a great variety of books and fun…read moregifts. It is my favorite place to get stocking stuffers during Christmas! My favorite items are their coffee cups and fun sticker selection. I love coming in to get a coffee and see what new books/items they have. The employees are always friendly and offering book recommendations. They recently organized the shop and I thought it looked very nice! It is so important to support local bookshops and this one is so great!

While that is only one we found to be to our liking, there were many other wonderful finds inside. Redwing and Roseville and McCoy about. The shop owners were very friendly and greeted us promptly and directed us to where they think we may find our desired treasures. We walked away with a very solid piece at a very solid price.

We found some interesting old items there to purchase well as NM Pinon coffee. She did ask that only paying customers use the restrooms but you could buy a soda or candy bar to fulfill that requirement. I believe they used to have a gas station there but not currently. In short, we had a nice brief stop to use their clean restrooms and enjoyed seeing this business which was founded in 1938 along the Old Santa Fe Trail (Hwy 56/64).

That's roughly $25 per modern pack--for cards that aren't vintage, scarce, or anything remotely special. There's a difference between running a business and shamelessly exploiting hype, and this shop clearly knows exactly what it's doing. That's not "market pricing," that's blatant price gouging aimed at the people least likely to know better. Card shops are supposed to build community and help grow the hobby, especially for kids. Instead, this place feels more interested in squeezing every possible dollar out of excited young collectors and their parents. It's hard to call yourself a community shop when you're pricing families out of the hobby. If your business model depends on overcharging kids and parents who don't know better, that says everything people need to know. Even their video games are priced way more than even EBay prices.

So today I had zero plans on going to SideQuest games. I follow them on instagram and they had…read moreposted Pokemon cards for sale. They had multiple cards I was interested in so I get ready for my 40 min trek, head over there, walk in and see the cards I wanted ON DISPLAY with price tags and everything. So I tell them I'm interested in a few cards and I'm told "oh I need to look at all these cards again."...so I wait around for 15 min just to essentially be told nothing they went out of their way to post on their instagram was for sale.... So I dragged my one year old son on a 2 hr trek for literally nothing. Will not be returning to this store ever

The good: -great…read moreselection. Employees are constantly stocking shelves with go backs and new stuff -can definitely find some bargains. There are color tag sales everyday from 25% - 75% off select items The bad: -no dressing rooms. There are a couple mirrors at end caps where people gather around and try things on, but that gets crowded and it's not easy to try pants on over clothes. Which wouldn't be that big of a deal if they had a different return policy but... - no returns. All sales final - sections organized by color, not by size - not the cleanest space and some of the clothes on the racks have stains/tears, so be sure to really check your items before purchasing - cash only. There is an ATM but of course there are fees to withdraw like all ATMs - prices have gone up considerably in the past several years Overall, still a great store but lots of room for improvement

Must pay for jewelry right away. Look for the half off items to save. Found a nice Lodge cast iron dutch oven with lid $29.99, half off = $15. Really nice staff. Convenient location.
