I had terrible credit at the time and really tight budget and they were willing to work with me throughout the whole ordeal and when my transmission went out they let me refinance the truck and put the repair into the bill. So for me it worked out quite well and I was sad to see they closed because I would have gladly gone back to buy another vehicle from them. Bud, like many small businesses covid when they shut down the world screwed over the little guy.

We're a quick 5 minutes from Fort Smith, with easy access from anywhere on Hwy. 112 just off I-540. Champ Carroll Hinton was born in Fort Smith, Ark., in 1929 and started working at a local used car lot when he was just 16. He was good at it. He was a "natural, " because he liked people and enjoyed hard work. After four years in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, Champ settled in "the car capital of the world, " Detroit, Mich., to launch a career in the auto sales business. It wasn't long before he was the top salesman in his company, and within a year he was promoted to sales manager. A couple years later, he bought a new-car dealership in Ann Arbor, Mich., which he called Champ Hinton Arborland Dodge. In 1969, Champ moved back to his hometown of Fort Smith and opened another new-car dealership - Hinton-Cox Pontiac. His partner in this business? It was JT Cox, the man who'd given Champ his start in used cars back in high school. The dealership was very successful for five years, and in 1973 it became simply Champ Hinton Pontiac. Over the next 20 years, Champ Hinton Pontiac received numerous sales awards as the highest-volume dealer in the region. Champ sold the Pontiac dealership in 1983 with plans to retire, but within a year he began missing the car business and interacting with his customers, so he opened Champ Hinton Enterprises...

The lady who helped start the application was so super sweet but again her job was just to start…read morethe process and show the car (somewhat). Then comes the real work which was handled very professionally at first beginning with all the paperwork etc. Once approved we were then able to test drive a car (the car they offered or wanted you to have) After driving the car there was a noise issue in which I just was not comfortable with so I did mention it and was assured this car had passed inspection and such, which I'm sure at the time it had but I was not comfortable with each time the brake was pressed it sounded as if the tire was flat nor did I want to take the car off the lot and then be held responsible for money out of my pocket even if a warranty was being purchased not too mention a deductible would then have to be paid. After going back and forth they did agree to pay some money towards the issue being it was brakes so I wanted to think about it little did I know this deal was basically "take it now or leave it type deal". After leaving the lady who was originally assisting called to ask me a few questions as she really wanted to seal the deal and again I was okay with taking the car to my mechanic on Monday so she said she would call me back once she talked to the boss etc. To say the least my calls and questions were then dodged and never answered not too mention out of the three people that were in the office that day all three of us left without the car we originally wanted but yet we were all offered this same SUV in which had the noise issue. Makes me wonder!!! I have read some really great customer reviews on the face book page for this company and maybe it was just that I'm not going to just accept a 17,000.00 car with an issue without it being addressed bad credit or not I am human too so I'm not sure what or where this all went wrong but to say the least another car lot got my business and better luck to the next customer.

Bought a car for my daughter from Bob. I asked him if he would allow his child to drive it (before…read moreI bought it)He assured me it was a safe starter car. When I was getting sick to my stomach while driving I looked the car over and the gas tank is broken and leaking gas. He asked me what I expect for 1,200 dollars. This place is morally wrong and do not care about the shit cars they sell. What I expected was for my child not to drive in a car that could catch on fire and to deal with a company who would at least give me a heads up on issues it is having. It could have broken down when I left the lot and I wouldnt say a word but a broken gas tank is unacceptable!!!!!

It had a cracked windshield, which would have to be repaired at some point. My sister was going to be responsible for that. The check engine light was on, which no one mentioned. Bob is a fast, slick talker and tried to get my sister to sign the papers right then, assuring her that was a great deal. He wanted her to pay him $4200.00, but was going to give a receipt for only $3995.00. Thankfully, we didn't do it!! We took it to a trusted mechanic who told us he couldn't tell why the engine light was on, or if there were any leaks or problems because the engine had been cleaned and waxed, concealing any issues. He could however, tell us that the vehicle had been wrecked and had a very thick layer of bondo all down the side that was separating and that the whole side of the car could fall off at any time. We took the vehicle back to this place, handed the keys back and told them we wouldn't be taking it. He asked why, so we told him about the wrecked side, at which point, he SUDDENLY remembered that someone hit a deer!! This guy is shady and dishonest! He also never offered a car fax, which is a red flag! Buy at your own risk, because you are!
