Spoke to Jason at Jody's on the phone on Friday morning around 10 a.m., just about getting my car towed to a dealer in town for a check engine light, and my car running rough. When I found out they also did repairs, he said they'd be able to get me in and get the diagnostic done on the day, which the dealer couldn't even touch it 'til Monday. So, I went with Jody's. They came and picked it up at my house, with a flatbed, within an hour, got it down there, did the diagnostic, did the fix, and were able to get the keys back in my hands by 4 p.m. The mouse-chewed wires unfortunately weren't covered under my platinum warranty, but they wouldn't have been covered at the dealers, either! I know I got my car back faster, and that the price was probably even a little lower, and I honestly couldn't be more pleased. Hopefully no more un-warrantied issues with my Nissan Kicks, but if I do, I'll have Jody's deal with them. Time to go get some mouse and rat repellent! read more

I had Jody's come get my car to find out what was wrong with it. They told me that I spun the main bearing in the motor and it had to be replaced. They quoted me $9000 for a new motor. I told them I'm not putting a new motor in it because the car ain't worth near that so I asked them to see what they could get a used motor in my car for came back later and they told me $8000 for a used motor. What kind of bullshit is that? and not only that but they reported that they put a new battery in my car. That's not true. It still has the battery that I bought in it and that's not it. They also charge me double to tow my car back to where they got it because I refused to pay $8000. if I could give less then one star I would read more

Short story- Lost the pulley for the alternator belt. Rolled into Jody's at 8 AM. The car was fixed by 9 AM. Great prompt service. Long story- Against my better judgement, I agreed to drive my 86-year-old mother from Tucson to Tennessee in her 2003 Buick Lesabre. The first 1000 miles were thankfully uneventful. But, after leaving Henryetta, Okla. at 6 AM, we had just past Ft. Smith, Ark. when the engine service light appeared, then minutes later a bright red voltage light glared- all with a very emotional Mom in my ear. It was a catastrophic failure. The temp. was maxed out and this is when I threw on the hazards and lowered the speed to 50 mph. The temp. lowered a bit, and I saw that an exit was a mile ahead. Made it to the off ramp at 7:45 AM and started researching service garages. Jody's was right at the exit across the street from a Waffle House. We pulled into the lot which was empty. We thought they were closed. The sign directed me around the corner where I found a gentleman at a computer ready to check me in. We speculated that it was an alternator problem. As I returned to the car I was immediately met by a mechanic, and he drove the car to the garage. The rep. and I discussed whether the high temp. may have damaged the water pump or some seals/gaskets. The rep. returned in a timely manner and informed us it was a pulley failure for the alternator belt. $300. He said it would probably be done before noon. My Mom and I ate breakfast while waiting across the street at Braum's. Not bad and affordable. My phone beeped at 9 AM. The car was done. Incredible- thinking we were out in the middle of nowhere (we thought) and they would have a part locally for a 2003 Buick Lesabre. Never has anyone been so happy to pay a $300 bill. In April of 2023, I took a car that I had purchased to Jody's service center on Fayetteville Road in Van Buren Arkansas. The issue was a parasitic power drain. They kept the vehicle for about two weeks. When the vehicle was returned, they had replaced my battery with my premission. When I picked up the vehicle, I was assured that the issue was resolved. I was charged around $750.00. Upon taking the vehicle home, I soon realized that the issue was not fixed. I took the vehicle back, and they kept the vehicle about another week. I was called to pick up the vehicle, and a new battery was placed in the vehicle. After a couple of days, I realized the problem wasn't fixed. I went elsewhere. At the new shop, the problem was diagnosed as a badly grounded Amp. The issue was fixed in one day. In October of 2023, I purchased an insurance vehicle drive train policy from Endurance. After purchasing the Endurance policy, I paid to have a couple of things fixed out of pocket. On March 6th, 2024, I called Endurance explaining that my a/c had gone out. I asked the representative I spoke with about what would be covered by the policy. I was informed that the entire components would be as well as labor. I dropped my car off at my mechanic. The shop called Endurance to start the work order. Today. March 12th, 2024, I was called to pick up my car. Upon arrival, I was informed that there was a problem that Endurance wasn't going to pay. The issue was that when I bought the policy, the mileage was 155241. When I went to pick up the car, the mileage was 156770. When I had work done on the car in November of 2023, the mileage was 156503. All of which were consistent with driving the car, and the mileage was increasing. The issue comes in that when I took the vehicle to Jody's in April of 2023, the mileage entered by them into the computer was 155783. The correct mileage should have been 154783. Because of the error when Jody's entered the mileage into CarFax, it was wrong. It appears that my mileage is going in reverse. I spoke with the manager and explained the entire issue. He admitted that whomever entered the mileage may have hit a wrong number because the numbers fuve and four are next to each other, thus admitting fault. I asked if he could give me a signed affidavit acknowledging the mistake and that no fraud was intended. By doing this, Endurance would have paid my claim. Instead, I was told that the mileage entered into the computer could not be changed to rectify the problem. I spoke with the Endurance representative about sending a copy of my title. I retrieved my title, and where a new one was issued when I registered the car in my name, the odometer reading shows 0 miles. Because the person at Jody's hit he wrong button yet refuses to fix the problem, I'm going to have to pay out of pocket the cost of the repairs, roughly $2900.00 and because of the mileage number mistake Endurance has canceled my policy. They did, however, say they could rewrite my policy using today's date and mileage, but that wouldn't cover the current repairs. Plus, by rewriting the policy, I would have to drive 1k miles and have the car for 30 days before any repairs could be done. Translation, I'm still out $2900.00, all because Jody's will not just do the right thing. The moral being after keeping my car for three weeks. Not fixing the original issue yet telling me they did. Basically, charging me $750.00 for a battery. Entering the wrong information ( mileage) refusing to give me an affidavit saying they entered the wrong mileage by accident, and causing undue issues and financial strain, here is my recommendation. IF I COULD GIVE THESE FRAUDS A NEGATIVE RATING I WOULD. I HAVE SINCE HEARD OTHERS SAY TO NEVER USE THEM. THEY ARE THE ULTIMATE PERVAYORS OF FRAUD, INEPTNESS, LYING, AND ARE CONCERNED ABOUT MONEY OVER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. OR RETURN BUSINESS. AT ALL COSTS DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER USE THIS BUSINESS OR OTHER JODY'S IN THE AREA. INSTEAD TAKE MECHANICAL ISSUES TO LARRY'S ON FAYETTEVILLE RD AT I 40. JAMES IS AN AWESOME MECHANIC, DOES NOT NOTCH WORK. MARSHA IS GREAT TO DEAL WITH. AVOID,AVOID, AVOID JODY'S AT ALL COST. OTHERWISE IT MAY COST YOU ALL YOU HAVE. The funny thing is that by doing the right thing, this would not have been written. All I needed was an affidavit explaining the errror. I took my car to Jody's to get what I thought was a brake problem fixed as It sounded like the brakes were rubbing when applied. This usually means the brake shoes are worn out. However, when the mechanic, Jason checked them he found them to be in good shape. He even took me on a ride in the car so I could identify to him what I thought was the problem. He identified the rubbing sound as the tires gripping the pavement when the brakes were applied, and said it might help to rotate the tires, which he did free of charge. He told the girl in the office there was no charge, even after all the time he spent on the car. This kind gesture proves to me they're in business to do a good job for the customer and not just for the money. We were on a lengthy road trip recently when we had trouble with our brakes. We stopped in Van Buren for the night and went in search of a brake shop the next morning to get them looked at. The guys at Jody's were spectacular. Just passing through, We didn't have an appointment, so i wasn't certain if we could get the vehicle fixed that day. They worked us in that morning and identified the problem (a partly stuck parking brake that didn't trigger the warning light.), and fixed it. We had no problems with the vehicle on the way home. They were very patient with my many questions, and even offered to check the brakes again before we started out on the next leg of our journey. Jody's has been my go to for the past several years. I moved here two years ago and had my truck break down in Fayetteville. I rented a truck to get me home and went back up to get it the week after. Needless to say it was not fixed properly. I brought it to Jody's and not only did they fix it right (It is still running great today) but they did it for less than the facility in Fayetteville. On top of that, they have always been helpful. My wife's vehicle was in for a recurring problem and after the first attempt to fix it lasted 6 months, they fixed it for free. 11:30 at night, I just got off work....dead battery. It was 80 degrees outside and I was looking forward to getting into my car in the air conditioning. My jumper cables were in my trunk and my car is a push button start and keyless entry. I was able to get into my car with an emergency key inside of my key Fob, but there was no key lock to get into my trunk-and I was unable to jump start my car. I work in Van Buren. I called about for tow truck companies in Van Buren, I got either voicemail, disconnected number, or they didn't offer that service. I called this company, Jodys Tow truck, they had to come from Fort Smith to do it. Fort Smith is about 30 minutes away. They arrived within 30 minutes, had my car started in less than five minutes and I was on my way. I can't thank them enough....they were polite kind and courteous.
