Steve checked in with me the night before the job. He double checked what we were doing in the bathroom and we decided on a start time. The next day, Steve came out and was so nice and polite. He explained what how the job would go and that he would check in with us here and there. He scrubbed the heck out of the floor and grout. Then he went to town polishing the tub. He had me come look at progress and explained some stubborn spots and why they weren't coming out. He then polished again. At the end, he did applied the grout shield after we looked at the color that matched the best. He was at our house for about 5 hours and really did an excellent job on the tub and floors. True professional Tom came later to get payment and the seal the toilet since we talked about that in the estimate. We also talked a possible future job in the kitchen. I highly recommend these guys. Then he gets upset that I was questioning him where he was at the moment which we are a AOAO with a swimming pool that I posted notices out for residents that pool will be closed due to work to pool deck. He then shows up at around 2 p.m. to start work, I told him it is way to late to start work. He then starts to be like I am mad person and makes like it was my fault. So at this point I told him I need the deposit back and our pool fob key back. He then says that he will not give deposit back and we just donated to a non profit organization, mind you this is about $2250.00 we gave as a deposit. At this point I asked him to leave the property due to he starting yelling in our community, So as I was telling him to leave he then threw his gum from his mouth at me, which was a total disrespect to a customer that was paying to do worker. He then leaves property, then about an hour after he leaves he then texts me to give him an apology on what had happen, I said hell no, after what you have done. So currently we will send his issues to our lawyers to get our deposit back. So be really careful on this mainland guys coming to Hawaii to do work. They have NO ALOHA or respect for our OHANA! So take this as a warning on Mitch company! Like I said before he is a really good talker. If you read on other reviews he did it to other people that really work hard for there money and there's Mitch ripping off the local people.

Jeff is really nice, but his time management is very poor, and the quality of his work is lacking. First of all, he ran late the day he was supposed to start working on my bathtub, and when he finally showed up, he said it was too late to start, but asked if I could write him a deposit check. I thought that was somewhat unprofessional, but I figured that his poor scheduling was a one-time thing so I gave him the deposit. We rescheduled and he was running late again, but he promised he would show up that day. When he didn't, I texted him to ask if he was on his way, and he said no, because he was going to the airport to drop off a friend. WTF. He eventually starts working on my tub and it looked great afterwards, but he needed to come back to do some touch ups--which was another round of waiting. In the end, one of his assistants finished the job and that was that, right? No, no, it wasn't. Yes, my tub looked so much better than it did before, but my shower head somehow broke during the process and my drain no longer drains properly, and will get clogged after a few uses. And then the finish started chipping and there are rough patches in the basin. I emailed him to take advantage of the warranty, but I never received any response. I actually can't use the tub anymore because it gets clogged constantly, which makes me depressed because I essentially paid money to have someone brick my shower. This was such a poor experience that I'll probably just have the whole bathroom redone instead of hiring another company to fix the Doctor's work.
