Still following COVID guidelines we were able to do everything remotely as far as payment & picked up keys there onsite. We stored our house for a month while we transitioned from out of state back to our home town and to a new rental home. The unit was clean, the gentleman I talked to was super kind and easy to communicate with. If/when we get a house of our own, we will definitely consider them again for our transition and storage needs.

We have been storing our items here for about a year and a half now with no trouble. The people who…read morerun the office are great and the place is extremely secure, which is why we chose this location. Last weekend, we had record flooding, which flooded most, if not all the units. We signed up with their insurance when we first started our rental unit. Access Self Storage sent over our information and I filed the furniture we were claiming damaged. Come to find out, their insurance they offer does not cover flooding. We were not told that when we signed up for it. Needless to say, we will be looking for another unit to store our things. I'm sure many other people will too. I'm not risking their drainage system again while I'm paying insurance and they aren't even taking care of their current tenants. It's a waste of my time and my money.

TLDR; Your search is over, choose Mountain Movers…read more After carefully researching about 10 different moving companies, I decided to go with mountain movers based on their negative reviews, or lack thereof, rather. My husband and I have moved 15 times so this was not my first rodeo. When choosing a moving company, you want to concern yourself with how the movers handle problems such as broken items or broken promises. MM did not have any negative feedback on Yelp or Google. Obviously I considered the fact that they seem rather new which might account for the lack of complaints but also that they are working hard to build their online rapport. So, I crossed my fingers and booked MM through Yelp. Alex responded to my inquiry and agreed via Yelp. A few days later, he emailed me a Docusign estimate which did not require a deposit, another advantage over competitors. On the morning of the move, Richard called to give me an accurate ETA which was much appreciated. MM showed up with 4 men and TWO trucks. I was already impressed. Richard, Q, Dre, and Andre got started immediately wrapping every single piece of furniture in blankets. We lived in a very challenging, 4-story condo but this did not discourage their effort or attitude. We have lived in several different condos and the old movers took doorframes off, put holes in the sheet rock, and damaged the furniture all while complaining how much it sucked. Mountain Movers were courteous and professional and DID NOT damage ONE THING nor did they make any damage to either property. This is HIGHLY unusual as almost every move we've used movers there was at least some damage. Movers in the past also required that we leave a 5 star review before they would give us a "discount". Mountain Movers is a diamond in the rough; they were EXTREMELY affordable AND the best movers we have ever used in our 15 moves we've done over the years. We are so grateful and thankful to them for their professionalism and excellent service. Richard, Q, Andre, and Dre, thank you for caring for our things like they were your own! -Kaitlen and Harrison Clare

Its Thursday afternoon and I needed movers by the following Tuesday. Mountain Movers responded…read moreimmediately to a moving request I sent via YELP. Not only were these guys free for a Tuesday move but they were only going to charge me $85/hour. Yes!! You read that right. $85/hr for 2 movers and like an 80 ft moving truck---(don't think it was really 80 ft but you catch my drift...The truck was big as hell!) I corresponded with Alex regarding all of the moving details. Super patient, professional and thorough. He sent me over a service agreement to sign and I was booked---no deposits or anything. I had a scheduling conflict and had to delay my move one day. "No worries, see you on Wednesday!" Alex exclaimed in a text to me. Flexibility is an understatement! My move time was at 9AM on a Wednesday. The guys were at my door at 9:02AM. That's on-time in my book because they had to get through a security gate as well as 3 flights of stairs. The fellas were masked up due to COVID-19 and called me by name when speaking to me. Talk about stellar customer service! They are located in Arlington but have no problems traveling to Dallas. And they don't charge a mileage fee--nor a stair fee, folks! They do, however, charge a service fee of $65--which I certainly didn't mind paying. These gentleman were the truth!! I would recommend them to anyone that wants stress free moving. Friendly, fast & very careful with your belongings. Best movers I've ever had! Thanks Alex & Team!

Never again will I allow Public Storage to pull me in with their sticky storage rates. On 10/16/23…read moreI moved my belongings into Public Storage, with a monthly rate of $131.00. In just over four months on 2/29/24, I received notice that my rate would be increasing to $176.00 for April's payment. At this point I called and inquired on why it was being raised so quickly, in which case they did what was called a rent adjustment and left the rate at $131.00. By 7/3/24 (just over four months later) my rate increased to $176.00, and they said that there's nothing they can do about the increase. Then once again, four months later I received another notice on 11/26/24 that my rate would be increased to $223.00 and would take effect on 1/1/25. Outrageous! My previous storage facility was also climate controlled at U-Haul, and I stored my items there for six years. Within that six-year period, my storage rate only increased three times starting at $152.00 and ended at $168.00. At public storage within one year and two months, my storage rate increased twice almost doubling what I was paying when I first moved my belongings into Public Storage. On 12/27/24 I moved my belongings from Public Storage to a competitor that is also climate controlled. My rent at the competitor's climate storage is $152.00 a month for an even larger storage unit than what I had at Public Storage. You tried to get me Public Storage, better luck getting someone else with your excessive rate increases. And lastly, the temperature is not cool in your facility. It was always too warm, even during summer months.
