The apartment itself was in really good condition and very nice, and in a great neighborhood (wish i still lived in the neighborhood). Something rare that they had was someone in charge at their office that could actually make decisions, alter contracts and generally get things done. I'm appreciative that they had this at their office. Normally, there are only hired office people around that can't make any decision or get anything done. With Rush-Hal actually having one of the owners working at the office, it was possible to actually get decisions from a person and not just have blanket rules that the office people have to follow. My experience with Rush-Hal was good, that's about all that I can say.

We're very glad we did! The location is extremely convenient, and the apartment manager, Baeron, is very friendly and willing to show you whatever empty apartments he has at the moment. When we arrived he was doing maintenance on the driveways and parking, which let us know right off we had active staff on the property! At Westbury you have a choice between a two bedroom apartment or a one bedroom, on the ground floor or second floor. You can also choose whether or not you face the communal green in the center (keep pets off the green so nobody has to worry about poop) or facing the parking lots. Apartments facing the lots (which are shaded by trees) may be able to snag an apartment with a fireplace for about $10 extra per month. If you have pets, you can have up to 3, and each pet is an extra $10 added to your rent per month. They don't mind if you have large dogs! The apartments are very spacious. The 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ones my husband and I looked at were just over 1,000 square feet. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and one of the bathrooms, and the second bedroom has a large closet with a sliding door. The second bathroom is just off the hallway (yes, these apartments are so large they have actual hallways!). The apartment's trim is in white, and the walls are a muted cream. The floors are a beige carpet kept in impeccable condition, with faux wood flooring in the dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms. We cannot wait to move here!

Given how fast the response came after seeing my ID, it was hard not to feel that the decision was based on my race. This experience was upsetting and felt discriminatory. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and given equal access to housing opportunities. I'm sharing this so others are aware and so that the practice of judging potential tenants by appearance or background can be called out. I do not have a criminal past. The sad thing is I live in this area and run a business. The people at Arkansas Property add zero value to our community and will come to realize that Maumelle is not holding on to the bigoted values of the past.

We met all the stated criteria, yet were dismissed without explanation. The timing and lack of transparency made the situation feel discriminatory and completely unprofessional. We've never experienced this kind of treatment from any other real estate professionals. If you expect fairness look elsewhere.

They do something in an apartment next door and poisonous vapors fill your apartment "well there's nothing we can do". Yeah, you can pay for a hotel for a day or two. you can NOT use the high odor garbage you use. well, open your windows, but you have to close your windows because EVERY night they release the sewers and the stench comes thru your windows. For starters, I have…read morehad leaks from the air conditioner being frozen and dripping all over the clothes in my closet, the bedroom door never full closes (ever after they "fixed" it), there has been a roach issue from day one, the appliances are OLD, the tub and bathroom sink never drain, MOLD has grown in the windows multiple times and has made us all sick, (the MOLD has also RUINED expensive shoes AND clothes), there is always a faint yet strong cigarette smell coming from both the laundry and pantry, leaking from the fridge which lead to water being all over the kitchen going into the carpet, and i have had my car vandalized and had no help due to NO CAMERAS. This apartment is a complete joke. the maintenance team has been somewhat helpful. they will come to "fix" things but it's only either they made it worse or didn't make a difference. The management is absolutely terrible and could all use a lesson from other apartments. Oh and when your ready to move out, don't expect to get your deposit back as they always will say "we had to.." yeah it's complete BS.
