After she gave me multiple excuses for why Brian failed to show up "for my estimate", it was clear that they had scheduled another estimate and not the actual repair work, and then they didn't even show up for that. I asked him to refer me to a good roofing company and he told me "call MEC"! Colin was very thorough, took his time, and gave me a detailed verbal report on his findings. He agreed that my top quality roof was in good shape overall after 17 years of sun and rain on my ranch. My roof vents are all screened with the 1/8 inch required screens, but I will have MEC's recommended installer screen my eaves as well for additional fire hardening.. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no charge for Colin's work and I will only call MEC for my future roofing needs.
