The one this company installed in 2023 quit working in 2024 after the one year warranty expired and I had to pay $1,000 to have another one installed. March 2025 the dehumidifier quit again. I called and they sent a technician out here and he said the company no longer uses those dehumidifiers. He inferred that they are of substandard quality and if I purchased another it would be quite expensive. He checked the dehumidifier and said my electrical outlet had switched it off. So, I paid an electrician to replace the outlet with one that doesn't automatically switch off. The dehumidifier continued to quit working. So, I asked an HVAC company to come and check it out. He said the dehumidifier is fills with water and cuts off because it isn't draining properly. He emptied it out and said it hadn't been correctly installed. He said it needed a condensation pump and the tubing needed to be replaced. I tried to reach someone at Crawlspaces and More and for weeks never received a return call. I finally received an email from Jim and he said he would come out and make sure the dehumidifier was on and charge me $200. I told them to forget it. I called a reputable company and they installed a very nice dehumidifier and replaced the door to my crawlspace. Ours was wood and rotted because it was decades old. They said Crawlspaces and More should have replaced it to thoroughly encapsulate the crawlspace. The new company installed a custom fit door that is air tight and sealed. I would not recommend Crawlspaces and More.

At our assessment meeting she alerted me to the breadth of the problem that needed attention, made helpful suggestions for things they could do that would not add to the estimate she offered, and was so mindful of giving the best quality of work for a very reasonable price. Immediately I felt at ease with her and sensed she could handle any issues that would arise. Everything in the basement that I didn't want to keep was removed, remaining things were wiped and treated, and returned neatly to the basement, which was truly transformed. Terri and her crew were thorough, great to work with, (special thanks to Eleazar, crew chief) and there was outstanding communication throughout the process. This is dirty, messy work, but the crew was upbeat, alert and so helpful when I found something set to be hauled away that I decided I wanted to keep. I contacted this company in addition to several others from Yelp and Google. I reached out requesting an assessment for a repair and a cleaning after the repair. They advised the assessment would not cost, only the actual service, which is generally standard. I gave the condo units information almost two weeks ago. I received a text advising they would show up only for a cleaning and it would be $249. I still need an assessment for the repair, cleaning is pointless if the ventilation tract is damaged because we are still doing construction. I initially text and then opted to call. The young man that answered, obviously struggled to speak English. This became apparent when I tried to explain my situation to ask for guidance, he hung up on me. I thought, okay, he's struggling with English, let me call back and speak Spanish with him, but he hung up again. When I text, asking if he was hanging up deliberately, he laughed and obviously you can see in the photos from the text conversation, he also struggles to write coherently in English. I felt empathetic to his obvious challenges with the language barrier but cannot help being concerned about the level of disrespect. I would not recommend this company. I called to verify the legitimacy of this company because they only show up on Yelp. Just got off the phone with a rep from the Better Business Bureau and the only LEGITIMATE Maven Air Care is in Kentucky, with no known or licensed location Atlanta, GA. It would appear they haven stolen this company's identity and that's why they don't care how badly they treat people. The blatant disrespect to a potential customer for a series of multiple condo units is wild to me. Especially in the political and business climate we are all in right now, it's just not smart, because you NEVER know who is connected to who. I will pass all the information I have on this apparent group of scammers to my contacts with the appropriate authorities. Contact them at your own risk.

The work itself by the techs was good in terms of cleaning the mold I had and sealing off the room…read moreaffected. Here is why I have an issue... On the opposite side of the room, the baseboard was pulled up when this had NO issue with mold or anything. In the process, the bar they used to remove the baseboard had punctured the wall deep and in some cases turned the drywall to mush because they pushed it in beyond what they needed. The primary reason this gets 2 stars is due to a MAJOR lack of communication! After they setup shop and got the equipment in, I had to do the all the leg work to find out why they weren't here at the time promised. In every case, they showed up a minimum of 2 hrs late in each instance. In once instance, they never even showed up. All I care about is I am kept in the loop because things happen. I got this whole song and dance about working till 2am etc, which as a customer, I couldn't care less about. Just call me at 9am and tell me you won't make it. So overall, I had to arrange for scheduling when the manager of the job should have handled that. The final reason for low stars is that when the techs arrived, they didn't even KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO on that particular day!!!! I'm sorry but I have to question how many people actually work locally here in Alpharetta GA. To me it feels like only 6 people work there and they simply don't talk to each other. The job estimator never told the workers what he quoted, and the manager also had no idea. So between the workers, the manager of the job and estimator, there is no doubt any of them spoke to each other ever. I mean WOW! Talk about a serious lack of customer service! Sadly, I wish I could give more stars because they truly cleaned it all out very well, but that was only because I had to keep leaning on them to talk to me about when they were gonna show up, then call them again and again asking, "where are you?" Then having to call the job estimator was worse because the manager and crew had no idea what he had quoted to be done.
