Ive been coming to advanced urgent care for years dr alzien has been good his partner not so and the nurses assistant was very rude !! I came in for an appointment because I might have shingles which I came to see the dr. Alzien Before which he prescribed medication! I can this morning and got denied because of a balance which I never got a bill in the mail for !! I got denied services said I had to pay 120$ to get seen. Mind you I'm in pain . I tell the NA that I don't have the funds now he proceeds to say to me a patient that not his problem!! Please do not go and support this facility!!!! read more

Went there last night for my infant having a fever. The doctor barely looked at my kid and was in the room for a total of 5 minutes. Was told my 8 month old had an ear infection and pink eye. Doc gave us an antibiotic and eye drops. I felt like there was something off about the visit so I ended up taking her to comer cER where she was looked at much more thoroughly and was told there's zero signs of an ear or eye infection and they have no clue why the doctor there said that. The pediatrician was also concerned about the antibiotics given by the doctor here and said they were way too strong for such a little baby. Do not waste your time going here. They make up stuff so they can bill your insurance for a higher bill. Since writing this review I have received hateful emails I'm sure which are from either the owner of a staff member there. read more

I have never had an issue here in the past but tonight my husband and two teenage daughters have been treated very disrespectfully. It is Saturday, and it is December 30th. However the office closes at 6pm. They arrived at 5:10pm. I understand you stop taking patients at 5pm. They made every effort to be there by 5pm. Your staff could have just turned them away. Instead they chose to treat them with disrespect. I am an operating room nurse and would never be rude or disrespectful to any patients or families. They are our customers and they get our bills paid. We will not be returning. This location is closer to us than others but we will be driving further out for care from now on. read more

I came in because I had a 102 degree fever for over 8 hours straight. The assistant that came in to ask me about my symptoms, didn't bother taking my vitals needless to say didn't even ask if I was allergic to anything When the doctor came I asked him if the assistant had to take my vitals and the response I received was "I don't know. I'm just the doctor". I later told him to ensure that the medicine he was prescribing me wasn't of the family of medication I am allergic to and his response was "the assistant noted you didn't have allergies". I stated how I was never asked if I was allergic and it didn't seem to phase the doctor. It's safe to say I will NOT be coming here again. read more

Where did my review of this dump go? This place is full of a bunch of dishonest people. I was sent here after I had surgery and it was suspected that I had a UTI. I was unable to drive and I had to walk here and it was within walking distance so that wasn't a problem. I'd like to know how my urine disappeared! After 3 days my doctor contacted this office and they couldn't find the results. They contacted the and the lab said the sample was never sent. ALI was my male nurse. Ali barely spoke English and had to gesture to a part of his body when asking me questions because he was so hard top understand when asking me questions. After they tried to tell me over the phone that the lab lost my urine sample, and I wanted to speak to Ali because I knew he was the one who didn't take it out of the washroom. They wouldn't let me speak to him. I went there to basically scream at every unprofessional lying POS there. I kept calling and finally they put some guy on the phone who was soft-spoken and spoke English very well. And I knew 100% that was not Ali. I went down there again and found Ali behind the desk and finally got to ask him why he's hiding from me and why someone is getting on these phone pretending to be him and he walked away abs went into the back. I was so sick and I didn't have time to get to a doctor. My coworker told about Advanced care on 63rd he highly recommended I visit the doctor. DR. ALZEIN and his nurse were compassionate and did everything to get me better. They were able to do everything I needed at their office even blood work. There office is a small emergency room. They made my limited time work for them, having me tested for the flu and strep and out with scripts in time for my second flight. We just received or bill from this place. Stay away! They charged nearly $800 just for the visit. They charged $500 for an "extended stay" in reality it was so extended because the guy took an hour to try and get an IV into my boyfriend poking him multiple times each arm. Tried to go here today for a sore throat but didn't have my insurance card with me. I did have an electronic copy on my phone and even offered to email it to them, and forward it from the email BCBS sent me. They looked at me like I was absolutely out of my mind. I have very, very good insurance. I was appalled at how I was treated here. The lady at the desk cut me off before I could even finish talking. I ended up saying forget it I will go somewhere else. And I did, and I had no problem using the electronic copy of my insurance card there. I live a few blocks away and you guys just lost a potential patient. read more

They are very affordable with insurance and treat pt with respect The docs are very thorough and answer any questions that you may have I will never go to any other urgent care other than this one ! This is by far the worst medical facility ever! I walked into the 63rd Street facility and was seen by Dr. Mohammad Alzein. He was beyond rude with a pompous disposition. Not once did he exam me, offer suggestions on treatment or offer a diagnosis. He did however manage to order a ton of lab work and repeatedly asked what my occupation is. My visit was over a month ago and I have yet to receive the results of my lab work or any additional information pertaining to my visit. I was informed by Melissa (medical assistant) that everything with regard to my visit would be uploaded to the patient portal. Within days of my visit, I logged in only to be met with no record(s) of my visit. After speaking with both locations, I was informed that the online portal hasn't launched and they are unsure if and when that will happen. Save your time and pay the extra money by going to the ER. read more

We had a very good experience there this week. My daughter had a fever for a couple days and then complained of a sore throat. Knowing that may mean strep, we headed to urgent care. Dr. Alzien was fantastic with my daughter and made her feel at ease. We were in and out pretty quickly and treated with respect. I would recommend. read more

I recommend this facility because they are so responsive and caring. They're not one of those places that rushes you out the door. My doctor was extremely helpful and cured me of my symptoms. The last time I went I got stitches. The "doctor" gave me too much lidocaine and I had a horrible reaction-finger swelling to twice the size and horribly anxious-and the "doctor" was like "what's the problem?". I said it feels like my finger is about to explode. Well, a trip to the er confirmed what he had done which, btw, could've had horrible consequences. Oh, and the anxiety I felt was a classic symptom of lidocaine toxicity which he was like, "I have no idea why your feeling anxious. Calm down". No shit. NO ONE WEARS IDs WITH NAME AND PROFESSIONAL TITLE. Seriously, they're gonna hurt someone bad if they don't get shut down. Have already contacted OSHA among others. Have been going here for a while. The care and attention is good and the doctors(albeit one) are good and thorough.They listen and do what right by the patient. At times they are busy with a full waiting room but you wont sit more than 30 minutes waiting. You are not rushed and they take their time with you. Dr Alzein is good. I came in for a simple ear infection. The doctor looked at me and said there is inflammation. I was told that I was receiving an penicillin shot. After a couple of days, the pain was still there so I called up the Dr . Come to find out he gave me a shot for pain and not a antibiotic as I was told. Why would a Dr. give me pain meds when I wasn't in paid due to my tonsil removal. And the fact that that wasn't helping me at all. The penicillin would have cured my infection. Waist of time and waist of $150 . Now I have to go to another Dr. so patient BEWARE !!!! Your better off going somewhere else. Thank you, Yelp, for finding Advanced Urgent Care. I just got back and have to tell you about it. They just opened 2 months ago. The people at the front desk were very organized and got my data into the computer fast and got me into the office quickly to be treated. Amir, the medical assistant, was very efficient and got my blood pressure and other vital signs taken along with my medication data and medical conditions entered into the computer. Then I was ready for Dr Mohamad Alzein who was spectacular. I had a difficult task for him and he accomplished it with ease. He is so kind and so competent that you will be in your comfort zone with Dr Alzein. I was in and out in less than an hour. That gave me time to do my shopping because I only had my caregiver for 4 hours. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I brought my son in which turned out to be bronchitis. The facility is immaculate and comfortable. Our initial wait was a little long, maybe 20-30 minutes and there wasn't anyone there ahead of us. The doctor and staff were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. The doctor diagnosed his condition quickly and jumped right in with immediate treatment. This place is a total rip-off and only interested in the money. I came here because I was super dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseous. When I came in, they said they didn't take HMO insurance and only accepted PPO so if I wanted to be seen, then I would have to pay the $125 visit fee out of pocket. I was feeling so sick that I agreed to be seen in hopes of getting some answers and/or medication. After the Doctor saw me, he said I was experiencing symptoms of having fluid in the middle ear and that was what was making me dizzy. He said he would send me home with some oral medication, but said that before I left I needed IV because I was supposedly dehydrated which would cost me $150 and blood work which would cost me $100 on top of the visit fee. When I told the doctor that I would just follow up with my primary doctor for the IV and blood work so that my insurance would cover it and that I would just take the prescription for the dizziness, he refused to give it to me claiming that if I didn't get the IV and blood work done there, he couldn't give me the medication, specifically saying, "It's all or nothing". He then said, "Hope you feel better" and walked out. So I had to pay $125 for nothing. read more

Do not go here! The people in this office are good and kind and the medical care is fine, but this office is owned by the business in Orland Park and they are dishonest. I went here for a return visit and was told it would be $70. I took only a minute of the doctor's time, so was told it would be no charge. I stopped at the desk to pay and was told I would not be charged. That meant a lot to me, since it meant I was able to afford my prescriptions. Six whole months later, I get a bill in the mail for $125. Six months after being told "no charge," I am being harassed with a bill for $125! I called the office and spoke to people and they refuse to correct their error. They could have charged me the correct fee of $70 at the time of the visit, and I would have paid it - I would not have been able to afford the prescriptions, but that is not their problem. Instead, I was told I would not be charged. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue, 6 months later, I got a bill for nearly twice the actual price of the visit! I feel they are extremely dishonest and it is the people at the Orland Park office that are giving the people on 63rd street this terrible reputation. Now, I would never be able to trust or believe anything anyone there says. Also, in talking with the billing people, it turns out they were sending out a whole bunch of such bills to people! I am planning to report this situation to government agencies. I feel genuinely sorry for the good doctors and staff at the 63rd street office that their reputations are being destroyed by the people who run this place out of the Orland Park office. They have lost the trust they will never regain. read more
