She uses an integrated approach with aromatherapy, range-of-motion exercises, anti-gravity stretching, and hot stone massage in addition to extraordinary deep muscle technique. One other thing I appreciate about Joell is that she doesn't talk too much -- sounds funny to say but it's important! This is not the case with all therapists sadly- sometimes it's hard to relax when the therapist goes on and on about themselves. Refreshingly she does not. A couple days after my first session, she mailed a personalized "Thank You" card to our home, detailing a special offer for any referrals, along with a couple business cards. We were very charmed by this. This was about a year ago and since then both my spouse and I go see her for regular sessions. We will continue to go as long as she continues her practice. You can't get better massage therapy -- and she is clearly very skilled, experienced, and professional. In spite of this her prices are reasonable, less than your "introductory rate" or "member rate" for Massage Envy chain, a yearlong membership we had previously. Thank you Joell!

The "therapist" was not good at all and fumbled and stumbled around the room and table. She had her phone in her apron pocket and it kept going off. She actually stopped the massage to reply a few times. Next, they were in the middle of a move or something and while I was in there getting the massage two ladies were out hammering and drilling on the walls to the room I was in. Also, the walls and doors were so thin you could hear every conversation in the lobby and they were making no effort to keep the noise down. It was disgusting to even go there, I have requested a refund for the second one. It wasn't a good massage, my child gives better back rubs and there was nothing resembling serenity.
