I recommend oatmeal with plant-based milk, walnuts, and your fruit of choice. If you are so inclined, have a cup of coffee or tea. - Make sure you know where this location is (and don't confuse it with the other ACC). GPS misled me, I had to walk a quarter mile from where I parked on the street, and I was lucky to find the testing site. - Give yourself plenty of time to get here. I'm really glad that I did. WHAT THE... Probably…read morethe worst location to ever take any exam. Only picked this place because of distance to home and work. My colleague warned me about the noise level (construction noise outside) and I reasoned that she took the exam a few yrs ago and no construction at the moment. I should have taken that as a sign and pick a different location. 1) CROWDED EXAM ROOM. The front desk guy mentioned "if you want you can remove your mask". I replied, sure maybe when I sit down. When I was escorted to the room and saw the amount of people, I decided to keep it on the entire test. Although we are nearing the end of a pandemic, the pandemic is still here - 8 people per room and the rooms being tiny as a shoe box was sketchy. People next to me can see my screen and visa versa. I can hear the person next to me breathe. They could do a better job with logistics. 2) LOUD AF. People walking in and out of the room at a constant rate. The door keeps opening and closing. The front desk administrator guy keeps running his chops in the room. At the door way. In the hallways. Do you not see people are testing... this is not a communal lounge area. At the least the people who were testing were doing their best to keep quiet for others when shuffling in and out of the room but the staff here... please have some courtesy. In addition the cheap headphones didn't work very well. Also freeway traffic is loud but that's almost like white noise I didn't mind. It was a Sunday morning and apparently building cleanup crew were on site so there was vacuuming happening too. 3) UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS. Tiny desks with 30 yr old chairs were killing my posture. I have a small figure and that chair was tiny for me - it is made for a child. My back and neck were hurting for 1.5hrs making it tough to concentrate. Take some pain killers before coming here! It was the most inconvenient place to take a big exam that you spent hundreds of dollars to register, spent months studying for, and mandatory to pass and here you are struggling with the surroundings. The administrators move slowly. They said raise your hand if you have a question... my hand was raised for 5 minutes until someone came to my aide. Luckily I was done with the test but could you imagine if I was test taking - that's precious time. "The camera is right there just raise your hand if you need us"... LIES. ... anyways, I passed!

ELITE Academy is a specialty school for students with disabilities. The staff help students work on…read morelife skills, communication skills, social skills and things like how to hold a job. This school uses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS). The kid I take here is doing very well so far. The staff members I have met here are all nice and great at clear communication. The place to pick up your kids at the end of the day is all gated so that makes it feel safer too. I think this school is a great piece of Grossmont Union High School District.

Do not use this service. It's overpriced, the customer service is terrible and the tutoring is…read moremediocre. We scheduled an in person session. The tutor was horrible. He came twice. He spent 1.5 hours each time talking about his wife and showing my daughter Photos of his vacations. He also told us he was fired from his teaching job for punching a student. After that we were only able to schedule tutors virtually because no one was available in our area. The tutors we're going to school and working so the times were very inconvenient. We used 16 hours of tutoring. They charged me for the three hours of the tutor that wasted our time. We had agreed to 36 hours in our contract. Don't waste your $$$$! There are local tutors that charge $25-50 an hour in person tutoring at your convenience not at the convenience of students with limited time or with bad teachers!

It made the learning process much more enjoyable. -The instructors condense the lessons and don't really go by the book which is far more extensive. It's pretty fast-paced since it's a one day course. - 1 hour lunch breaks - convenient to nearby restaurants - You get a nice certificate at the end of the course ! Sweet ! -They also offer other Microsoft-based courses: Word, Access, Outlook, etc. Verdict: 5 Stars ! Don't expect to walk away a Microsoft guru after one class or even two. I find that it takes time a practice to really get the program down. Your really need to refresh your knowledge on a consistent basis at work or you may forget all the minute details and steps. There's so many features within Excel I never knew about and I'm glad I learned a few tricks. It's made my work much more easier and manageable. It's a little hard to find the location but I called and they steered me in the right direction. Parking is never an issue and the instructors are SOO knowledgeable in what they do. After taking these classes, I'm confident in creating any king of graph or presentation for my company. You'd be lucky to take a class from here!

I got a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from CCHS in the 1990s. My review is limited…read moreto that timeframe. Back then, there were no schools in my area offering that degree. Nothing was online back then. I had to write a lot of papers and take proctored exams in person at my local library. The learning was superior. I use what I learned every day on my job. It was current and relevant. I have a BS degree from a reputable, brick-and-mortar college and have taken graduate-level courses from another. CCHS courses were far more challenging and I learned a lot more. The grading system was harsh. I saved a copy of it to show employers who ask for transcripts. They gave you a % grade, which they translated to a letter grade and then to a GPA. Problem is, the % grade translated to a letter grade one letter below standard! So if you got a 93%, that was a B on your transcript and calculated into your GPA as a B! Unbelievable. I will never get over that! Back then, the school was really disorganized. I had to call dozens of times just to get them to ship me the next course materials that I had paid for. I had many experiences like that. I would call and talk to different people who didn't know each other existed. This caused delays in completing the program. The flexibility was critical for me. Brick-and-mortar graduate programs back then all required part-time students to take 6-9 credit hours per semester; regional accreditation standards required that. I couldn't do that while working full-time and I couldn't afford it. Going with CCHS let me get my MS degree when no other programs could accommodate my needs. It was accredited, just not regionally, but because of the academic rigor and ridiculously hard grading system, IMO the degree really means something. I have not had difficulty finding jobs with it, although the lack of regional accreditation limits access to some positions (government, teaching). Pity, because it was actually a great education. I was SO disappointed they changed their name to Independence University. That name sounds like a diploma mill, which CCHS was not. I'm embarrassed to be associated with that name, to be honest.

Mark is a funny guy he's super nice and got lots of good wise and good info to share with you and always trying to help him or get better when going out for your practice on the road drives and Juan he's the lead instructor he knows his stuff he top tier he takes care of this school as much as he can even tho you can tell the school sometimes suffers when they need new equipment but as an individual you make it work out perfectly. Juan helps you all the way to the end and he even has contacts so when you graduate you can start working making the big bucks ! It started with week 1 with Stan doing the classroom portion 160 allowed us to do it from the comfort of your home via zoom or in person whichever worked for you. After was at the yard With Juan, Mark & Winton. Great instructors!!! All that was required was to LISTEN & pay attention & it just started to flow. I didn't know how to conduct a pre trip on day one it was overwhelming and after doing it everyday ...repetition..repetition it all started coming along and it became second nature along with the air brakes and the skills. I had a great experience overall glad I chose 160 driving academy. Trust the Process... MAKE SENSE?!?!?
