In my conversation with Jake, I immediately felt at ease because was definitely very knowledgeable. I'm not an expert but I do understand tech and I was able to talk to him easily comfortably. I did not want to spend a fortune and he immediately started to give me options on how to save money. I sent him pictures of my living room and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Jake came personally to hang my flat screen television. He did it quickly and cleaned up the area after the work was done. He was thoughtful enough to wire 2 HDMI in the wall in case one failed in the future. Once the work was done, I was so impressed that I did show him some of the other work I needed done with my security cameras. He took time to give me a quote on the work and he offered me options to help me save money. I never felt pressured to do anything. I opted to proceed with the project and he ordered the equipment and came on the day promised and finished all the work at the quote he gave me. He showed me how to operate the new cameras and as before cleaned all the work areas. I would highly recommend YDLC. I already have a 3rd project in mind for my great room . YDLC provides great service, is knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with the advice provided. The work is good quality and everything is working well. It's been hard to find local reliable service companies for my my home and it was refreshing to have such a good experience.

I'm writing to recommend an incredible business, All American Alarm. I was in town, and I called AAA on Friday evening after hours, and he called me back! On Saturday he was there, at the house, with our family. Today, Monday, a full home security system was installed. He is a man of action and integrity, as is his son, Ameer, who works with him. If you are even thinking about a home security system (isn't it just like human nature to need to be prodded by a personal home invasion -- don't wait), or a commercial security system, call Syed. He is absolutely the best! Thank you, Syed and Ameer!

It was use a few times as an alarm but mostly for the ability to view the front door. There were problems in the beginning with that camera getting scorched by the sun through the lenses. That was rectified. So the Hurricane comes along and the battery was used up. I bought one on line and installed it. The alarm didn't work. I called American and we tried a few things but no good. Seemed to both of us that the transformer plugged in the wall might have gotten a surge and wasn't working . No problem, come on out and check it. But you must pay for the service call before we come out. What!! That is not how good business is done when you have a 4 + year customer and you have all my info of payment every month. If I was late once in that time of didn't pay, well ok. But that's not the case. All repair companies come perform a service and are paid. Not treat the customer like a looser that they can't trust. Trust this ,good bye to American Alarm of Fort Myers.

The security camera system was installed 60 days ago and has never properly worked. We followed their recommendation on equipment and were even billed for additional work when the system they told us would originally work, didn't - and then even with the additional work and additional equipment the system still doesn't work. It shouldn't be difficult to get 6 cameras to work - but we have never had more then 1/2 the system working at any point in time. The most recent event in this nightmare was a security incident we had this morning. We had construction equipment stolen right from our driveway, and of course the cameras were not operating and didn't record anything! Only after calling them every week will they come out and try to fix. Tired of calling them, sending them videos of non working system, and hearing how they are busy on bigger jobs - wish they would just do the right thing and take back their equipment and refund our money. They obviously don't have the expertise to do residential work or have an interest in making it a priority to service residential customers. Stay clear of Securitech1.

My garage door tension spring snapped this morning, and I called them to have someone come out…read morewhich they did in a timely manner. But once the technician was there, I expressed that I didn't know much about garage doors and I wasn't trying to come off as a jerk, but I wanted to know why the ballpark range for my quote was $195-$495 for the springs and $375 just for labor. He stated it's based off the door size, I said while you're here just measure the door and can you give me a better ballpark estimate on the quote on what it would cost to have repaired he said well it's based off the spring. I'm gonna take the spring off and look and give you a better quote. I said oh perfect thank you he took off the spring and did some things and then told me that it would be $459 per spring and that I should change out the drums on both sides which were $225 apiece and with the labor again $375 parts everything out the door would be about $1700. I said OK I will have to talk to my wife about it and see what we wanna do nothing's gonna get done tonight. Are you available to come out tomorrow if you decide to use your company? He goes who I thought I was doing it tonight. I replied with that's not what I said. I said I would like a ballpark quote so I can weigh out my options which he replied with why I brought everything in. I did all the stuff under the impression I'm doing it tonight. I said no I need to talk to my wife and we had our options and if anything is going to be done, it's gonna be tomorrow. Which he tried to pressure me into making a decision tonight telling me well can you call your wife right now and said no she works healthcare and at the hospital with poor reception he was well I'm gonna leave my stuff here. I have a job down the road. Try to get a hold of your wife. I'll be back at 6 o'clock. I said OK then came inside my house to tell me that you know he thought the job was says and he was doing everything tonight in this net. I said no I'm sorry for the misconception but I didn't agree to anything being done tonight. I wanted to know how much was gonna cost me before I made a decision again try to pressure me and I said OK. Well, if my wife gets a hold of me and I am able to talk to her, I will tell you at 6 o'clock. He left and left all his stuff in my garage so I decided to look up the parts by using the VIN number the part number size everything available with the parts he recommended for me so the $450 tension springs that he wanted to charge me a piece for I found using the VIN number on the part for $175 for a pair, the drums that he wanted to replace for $250 apiece I found at Home Depot using the VIN number for 17.95 apiece. I understand it's a business and they need to make money and pay their employees so their employees can have food and a roof over their head, but I do not appreciate being taking advantage of and charged well over five times the price and then when I confronted him when he got back and told him that he could take his stuff and leave, but I do not appreciate being lied to and taken an advantage of he wanted to tell me that it wasn't him. It's the business and that's how they do things and they have to charge for labor this and then I said well you're already charging me $375 for labor that doesn't explain why you're charging 100 times the price for parts and then I showed him what I found using the VIN numbers off the parts and he tried to tell me that the Vin number on his drum was not the exact same drum ( mind you he wanted $250 per drum was not the same drum I found at homedepot using the same vin number for $17.95) I then said you were going to look me dead in the face and tell me that these are not the same thing while holding up his part with my phone with the Home Depot photo and description and price of the same exact part. Again, nothing against the technician he was only doing his job, but this company is taking advantage of people charging way more than they should and not being completely honest, just to follow up with that after confronting him with all my facts and what I found and asking why they were charging so much he again said it's not me. It's the company and I do have other parts that are cheaper. I said you never once told me that I had options you brought in the parts and told me this is what I need and what I should do and gave me the price for those never once telling me that there was cheaper options. I highly recommend not even wasting your time with this company unless you do not care about getting ripped off and wasting way more money than you need to I already called another company and they are charging me $500 for the exact same thing. This company wanted to charge me $1700 for please do your research fact, check before agreeing to hire this company.
