The team truly listens, takes the time to understand your symptoms, and creates a personalized treatment plan that actually works. The professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail are unmatched. My pain is significantly reduced, my mobility has improved, and my quality of life is better than it's been in years. If you're living with chronic pain, this is the place to go.

I was confused at a pain center referral as I thought this was a relatively straightforward procedure but have since learned why this was the correct path. I was also confused at the need to schedule a consult first as I was very much afraid that this would delay treatment as pain was increasing and greatly impacted my ability to sleep or even sit down for a meal. As it turns out, this is pretty much a legal requirement for pain center treatments. Lots of online releases and other forms but they did not take a long time to complete. The spine center referral was on a Friday afternoon and I painfully waited until Monday morning to schedule the first appointment. I was greatly relieved that, as long as I was flexible on locations, could be seen Wednesday at their Frisco location (in the Baylor building next to the Star Center.) That went very well with Dr. A and I met with the scheduler for the next challenge; the procedure itself! As it turns out, I was scheduled for the next morning!!!!! So, at their Plano location, and, after a couple more forms and verification that I did indeed have a driver due to anesthesia, I was out of the office an hour later. No immediate pain relief but the general expectation is 1-3 days. Well, no. I took my victory nap after getting home and, surprisingly, was able to sit up out of bed for the first time in 4 weeks (YMMV)! Still painful but 50% reduced from that very painful morning. Ending up taking a long walk and things got even better. As I write this, I'd say pain is down 80% and I expect my best sleep in ages tonight. Many thanks to Dr A and his group.

I have been expressing concerns regarding Dr. Zidan and his office in general for over 2+ years…read morenow, but I kept gaslighting myself and brushing off my gut instincts telling me that something was really seriously wrong. I'VE LEARNED TO NEVER DO THIS, ESPECIALLY IN HEALTHCARE..... LESSON LEARNED THERE. I have been a patient of his for several years, since he joined Texas Pain Physicians and Dr. A went to open his own practice. I have previously had excellent experiences with him in the first few years and my pump placement gave me significant relief, but it ended horribly with a nasty infection causing the pump to erode through my abdomen..... meaning that I had a hole over where the pump was and pus coming out (you could see the pump through the hole in my abdomen!). I had to have an urgent pump explant and I was treated in the ER trying to avoid full-blown sepsis in the days before the explant surgery. It's been about 2 years ago and I still have flashbacks and intrusive memories about that whole experience, especially right before I was put under for the surgery. I'm currently working on my exit and I definitely don't feel safe having any more injections or procedures after everything I've read about what happened to that poor woman who was made a quadriplegic and nearly died because of ridiculous mistakes that were made. READ THE COURT DOCS, if you have it sent to your email address, you can read about everything that happened, including excess midazolam administered (they didn't notice she wasn't ok until she didn't wake up from it....and Dr. Zidan wasn't in the room when it happened, staff had to go get him and bring him back!), among other serious things that went horribly wrong! Regarding my pump erosion: I'm not sure if Dr. Zidan is at fault or not, but 5 months beforehand, I went in for a pump refill appointment and he took a syringe and pulled several CCs of pus-looking stuff from the top of my pump between my skin and pump where he needed to get the needle in for the refill. During this particular encounter, I could sense that he was very stressed out or something, and he kind of snapped at a staff member to "get her to the OR!", which frightened me, to be honest. Then I was positioned on a table with a flouroscope and he was using the flouroscope to look at my pump, etc. After he looked at my pump and the infected fluid, he snapped/yelled at a staff member named Eric, yelling "Give me the medicine! GIVE ME THE MEDICINE NOW!!!" and RIPPED the box out of Eric's hands which contained my pump medicine (borderline assault, and I was mere inches below his hands as this happened.....I was just frozen in fear)! There's plenty more instances of him saying strange things to me and how I was "one of his babies" who needs anesthesia for all injections (for safety reasons, because I've had a seizure during a procedure while awake before at another clinic years ago). I'm currently working on learning natural medicine and other disciplines of medicine, and I'm slowly but surely getting better. I have a plan to leave not only Dr. Zidan, but the vast majority of mainstream medicine (this is coming from someone who only wanted to work in medicine since I was 3 years old, so this is a very painful and traumatic awakening for me). I'm DONE with being treated like I'm on an assembly line, and I'm DONE with everyone else treating me like a drug addict just because of constant severe intractable pain and my medically necessary medications, which are now too inadequate to make me functional enough to work outside of the home. Since I've started studying about natural medicine and God's plants of the fields, I've discovered a legal, and a safest way to relieve almost all of my pain around the clock....and I'm currently actively looking for work because I can now function enough, although my muscles are weak from living out of a recliner chair for several years. As far as Dr. Zidan goes, I used to sing his praises. In fact, I've even had my 5-star review featured on their social media accounts before. I'm a published poet who even wrote a poem about how much he helped me at first (before the traumatic pump debacle). The trauma this has caused me will take a long time to heal, if not for the rest of my life. I have so much more to say, there's a LOT, but this is the shortest I could make this. I hope and pray that every patient who has suffered trauma under his care can eventually heal and find a better path forward.

I have very mixed feelings writing this review because the doctor himself is absolutely incredible…read more Dr. Mark LeDoux is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life. He truly takes his time with his patients and never makes you feel rushed. He listens carefully, really tries to understand what you're feeling, and goes above and beyond to help fix the problem instead of just masking it. What stands out most is that he takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. You can tell he genuinely cares, and that kind of bedside manner is rare these days. Everyone in the office is very kind and professional in person. The environment is welcoming, and when you're there face to face, the experience is great. Unfortunately, the biggest issue is communication. It is incredibly difficult to get a hold of someone at the office. Whether it's for scheduling, a prescription refill, or just trying to ask a question, it can be very frustrating. My brother and I both go to this office, and we've both experienced the same issue when trying to speak with someone. Getting a response can take much longer than it should, which adds unnecessary stress when you're already dealing with pain. Despite that frustration, I still wouldn't want to see any other doctor besides Dr. LeDoux. His level of care and dedication outweighs the communication challenges, and that says a lot. I just truly hope the office improves its responsiveness because the medical care itself is outstanding.
