The range in my rental house suddenly started leaking gas, rendering it unusable. Once I got the new range ordered and delivered to the house, Mark was there the same day to install it. What a relief! Mark was easy to communicate with by email, too. I'd hire him again. read more

Actual handyman they sent was quick, responsive and professional. Business itself is mediocre. Coordinator uses an offbrand payment system that resulted in a delay of payment. Then he threatened a lien on my home for a $350 debt. Putting aside the laughable nature of this threat, when the silly payment system you use caused the issue, it's unprofessional and absurd to threaten a lien on your home due to a one week payment delay. Also really overpriced. I would not use them again and suggest you take your business elsewhere. read more

Don't Bother! I had a similar experience to others on Yelp. Mark was responsive to my initial request and sent me an estimate in a timely manner but that was the end of the positive. Responded to his quote email twice without response, then called twice and nothing... Finally called from an entirely different number and Mark answers, and sounding pissy he said that he would revise the estimate as I requested and would send it that evening. Now 7 days later and still nothing... Best part of the whole thing was since Mark flaked I called others and ended up figuring that mark was 2-3X more expensive on every task I asked him to complete. Maybe I should give him 4 stars for allowing me not to be overcharged by his flakiness, um thanks? read more

I have worked with Mark and his technicians for eight years now and they are always fantastic, quick, and do great work

Don't waste your time unless you have an abundance of it Disappointing! Mark came out and examined our damaged banister. He said he'd get the bid to us the next day. We said great- we need it for our insurance claim. No bid. That was in February. I have sent him a few emails asking where our bid is. No response. Super disappointing. We have to start over agin with the bid process to repair the banister-- this place will not be on the list. Save yourself some stress and look elsewhere. read more

Contrary to their business card motto...apparently some jobs ARE too small. We had a deck repair request for our ten-unit condo. I spoke with the owner Mark via phone and he quickly sent his estimator out (I was impressed with the quick response)! Morris promised a quote within a week but several weeks went by. When I returned from vacation I called Mark back up and although it seemed like he did not remember us, I was again hopeful when he was able to look us up on his computer and we again discussed the job. He promised a quote within a week. I tried several times to call him back after a week passed but never got an answer. Finally he picked up and after my introduction he stated he had sent an estimate and it was probably in my spam folder. I was at my computer and looked into spam and let him know it was not there. Then the phone went dead. I tried calling back, but no answer. He never called back - we were ghosted! Pretty juvenile behavior. Why didn't he just say that our job was too small to justify the time to take it? I'm a business person and fully aware that with Seattle's booming economy all sorts of contractors are busy beyond what they can schedule. It is annoying that we wasted so many weeks going back and forth - time we could have spent finding someone else. He did not have the professionalism and respect for us to just tell us the truth. After this experience, I would not deal with him because he did not handle us in an ethical manner. read more

I had a flawless experience with Mark and his team. From the communication (quick and efficient) to the actual execution of the work, everything was easy. The person who completed the repairs was polite, professional and fast. He made sure we went over everything before he got started, and ended up identifying a few tasks that were missing from the work order. He called Mark and got it cleared up in minutes. We went over all the work at the end, as well. Overall, I'd recommend Mark and his team to anyone in need of a handyman. read more

Mark and his team have managed a range of home repairs from rebuilding our back porch to refitting our heating ducts. He is very reliable, responsive and exceeds expectations for every job. I especially like that he asks good questions, we exchange pictures of the projects in advance and that he stands by his work. I wish there were more like him! read more

My tenant found this company to fix things in the house when he moved out. I emailed and called Mark and he replied very quickly and he was knowledgeable and experienced. His crew and him came out and got all the work done. When something was missed, he followed up and came back next day, got the job done asap. Very friendly and easy to work with and they showed up on time. read more

Mark is awesome. I had a clogged dishwasher and we scheduled the time via email, he came on time and fixed it within the hour. Mark is friendly, fast, thorough, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Mark to my friends and family. read more

Mark and crew are awesome! I had a variety of "to-do" items for a small condominium complex in Issaquah. Called Mark, he was out promptly, gave me a professional estimate and then he and his crew came out to complete the work. They were courteous, paid attention to the details, respectful of the onsite tenants and helped in problem solving some other maintenance issues. I have since called on Mark for his expertise and he has again been so very helpful- even rearranging his schedule to get necessary work done for us needed for a realty listing. Even though Mark is a Packers fan! I would highly recommend that you support this local businessman and those he employs. Their work ethic is outstanding and result driven. Mark is professional, fair and delivers excellent workmanship! He will be the one I always call on for any job- big or small. Lori W. read more

We had a bad experience with this company. The workmanship was of such poor quality that we question the qualifications of this person. We do not recommend them! read more

Had Mark over to take care of a toilet leak and a moisture-damaged wall. He did a terrific job on both repairs - quick, efficient and professional. I also appreciated how presentable he was. Would definitely call him back for future needs! read more

My initial encounter with Mark was extremely positive. BUT, when I needed him to return to complete the job, he ignored repeated emails, phone calls, texts, and voice mails. He definitely left me in the lurch searching for someone to complete the work he assured me he wanted to do. read more

I had a broken ceiling light fixture hanging by a thread. I had company coming soon. I told Advanced Professional that I was desperate. Mark, the owner , came himself to fix the light fixture. He also installed a light fixture in my pantry. The work was done quickly and very well. He is very courteous and respectful.. The price was right. He used texting and emails to get me the bid. So, working with AP Handyman was easy. I will definitely use these folks again. read more

Not sure why they advertised as handymen, called to get estimate to finish a playhouse. Apparently came by while I was out and never returned call regarding project. When I called, Mark very rudely claimed they didn't want to do that kind of project. Weird. read more

Very Professional! The best part is the communication from them before, during, and after the job was complete. I will be recommending Advance Professional Hanyman for my friends nest project or home repair. The installation of our new microwave was done very quickly and professionally. Thanks Mark! read more

Mark Thresher and his crew did a professional job in repairing my ceiling. He explained the process and kept me informed each step of the way. The owner was responsive when I just contacted him. He came and spent a decent time explaining to me what's needed to fix the problem. He assured me to emali me the quotes the next day. He did not when I followed up with him after 3 days, and said that he was sick and will email me definitely by Wednesday. I called again on Friday to check because I received no email. He said it on the phone that he'd sent it and maybe it was in my spam mailbox (but I don't have spam mailbox) but will re-send it to me. I thought that I should give him another chance and waited again, but nothing. I even sent him an email to make sure he'd sent it to the right email address. NOTHING. I am disappointed. I'd rather he just told me that he was busy for my project and I would be okay with that. I even gave him the chance over the phone. Why can't people just say it like it is and do what they said they will do. On the other hand, I am glad I found this out early and not during the project. read more

We just moved into an apartment that needed a few minor repairs. The management group connected us with this handyman service to handle it. I spoke with Mark today who was able to get a tech out within an hour of our phone call. Dwayne showed up and was absolutely amazing! He fixed the two things so fast and well that I didn't realize he was already done - literally minutes. I have been trying to get a floating media shelf hung for a week, but have had several handymen bail on me. As a result I still haven't been able to set up my TV equipment, and we have a pile of electronics strewn about on the floor. I asked Dwayne if he knew how to do it - told him I would give him cash (I didn't have to pay for the other repairs). He got out his tools, and once again within minutes, had the shelf securely hung! Another guy had quoted me an HOUR of time. On top of this Dwayne refused to accept payment from me. Also helped me hang a tricky mirror. Couldn't be more grateful for his help today. Amazing service & expertise, and incredibly great guy! Now I know who to contact next time I need help with something. Thank you, Dwayne!! read more
