Actual handyman they sent was quick, responsive and professional. Business itself is mediocre. Coordinator uses an offbrand payment system that resulted in a delay of payment. Then he threatened a lien on my home for a $350 debt. Putting aside the laughable nature of this threat, when the silly payment system you use caused the issue, it's unprofessional and absurd to threaten a lien on your home due to a one week payment delay. Also really overpriced. I would not use them again and suggest you take your business elsewhere. read more

Don't Bother! I had a similar experience to others on Yelp. Mark was responsive to my initial request and sent me an estimate in a timely manner but that was the end of the positive. Responded to his quote email twice without response, then called twice and nothing... Finally called from an entirely different number and Mark answers, and sounding pissy he said that he would revise the estimate as I requested and would send it that evening. Now 7 days later and still nothing... Best part of the whole thing was since Mark flaked I called others and ended up figuring that mark was 2-3X more expensive on every task I asked him to complete. Don't waste your time unless you have an abundance of it Disappointing! Mark came out and examined our damaged banister. He said he'd get the bid to us the next day. We said great- we need it for our insurance claim. No bid. That was in February. I have sent him a few emails asking where our bid is. No response. Super disappointing. We have to start over agin with the bid process to repair the banister-- this place will not be on the list. Save yourself some stress and look elsewhere. read more

Contrary to their business card motto...apparently some jobs ARE too small. We had a deck repair request for our ten-unit condo. I spoke with the owner Mark via phone and he quickly sent his estimator out (I was impressed with the quick response)! Morris promised a quote within a week but several weeks went by. When I returned from vacation I called Mark back up and although it seemed like he did not remember us, I was again hopeful when he was able to look us up on his computer and we again discussed the job. He promised a quote within a week. I tried several times to call him back after a week passed but never got an answer. Finally he picked up and after my introduction he stated he had sent an estimate and it was probably in my spam folder. I was at my computer and looked into spam and let him know it was not there. Then the phone went dead. I tried calling back, but no answer. He never called back - we were ghosted! Pretty juvenile behavior. Why didn't he just say that our job was too small to justify the time to take it? I'm a business person and fully aware that with Seattle's booming economy all sorts of contractors are busy beyond what they can schedule. It is annoying that we wasted so many weeks going back and forth - time we could have spent finding someone else. He did not have the professionalism and respect for us to just tell us the truth. After this experience, I would not deal with him because he did not handle us in an ethical manner. read more

The owner was responsive when I just contacted him. He came and spent a decent time explaining to me what's needed to fix the problem. He assured me to emali me the quotes the next day. He did not when I followed up with him after 3 days, and said that he was sick and will email me definitely by Wednesday. I called again on Friday to check because I received no email. He said it on the phone that he'd sent it and maybe it was in my spam mailbox (but I don't have spam mailbox) but will re-send it to me. I thought that I should give him another chance and waited again, but nothing. I even sent him an email to make sure he'd sent it to the right email address. NOTHING. I am disappointed. I'd rather he just told me that he was busy for my project and I would be okay with that. I even gave him the chance over the phone. We just moved into an apartment that needed a few minor repairs. The management group connected us with this handyman service to handle it. I spoke with Mark today who was able to get a tech out within an hour of our phone call. Dwayne showed up and was absolutely amazing! He fixed the two things so fast and well that I didn't realize he was already done - literally minutes. I have been trying to get a floating media shelf hung for a week, but have had several handymen bail on me. As a result I still haven't been able to set up my TV equipment, and we have a pile of electronics strewn about on the floor. I asked Dwayne if he knew how to do it - told him I would give him cash (I didn't have to pay for the other repairs). He got out his tools, and once again within minutes, had the shelf securely hung! Another guy had quoted me an HOUR of time. On top of this Dwayne refused to accept payment from me. Also helped me hang a tricky mirror. Couldn't be more grateful for his help today.
