RUN! After a BBL by Dr. Curves, my Sister landed in the ER with an infection having to be placed on IV Antibiotics for 2 weeks. Repeated calls to the office and no response. Not one follow up call after the surgery. ZERO. NOT ONE. She suffered from nerve damage and scar tissue and three years after the surgery, her butt is completely flat again. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. And this isn't defamation, these are facts and can be substantiated by phone records, hospital bills and photos. Maybe if they would stop clowning around all day on social media, infecting the sterile fields with CELL PHONES and stop having his Momma running the practice -- it might be more professional. Horrible. Ladies please conduct your research as I had a myriad of issues related to my surgery. After surgery admitted to hospital for a blood transfusion due to loss of blood. Additionally, the follow-up by the doctor was poor and I had to demand a meeting with the doctor to address concerns. The doctor admitted that the surgery caused nerve damage in both my hands and offered me a revision surgery due to the scars from the surgery which has the appearance of being butchered. Lastly, when I requested from the doctor a refund of the surgery and the cost for revision, he sent a message through his attorney stating that the doctor refused all of my requests. Please do your research and don't allow the affliation with entertainers persuade you in damaging your body. read more

I was told it's "normal" no oNe is symmetrical WTF there was a 2 inch difference between each side and I got fibrosis. He effin sucks. Horrible office workers unable to get help when you have questions after surgery. Asked if my lipo results were normal turns out I had an edema and all sorts of issues nurses told me I'm fine and sent me home. Had to go to the hospital to have the edema drained and hate my results I look lumpy and have dents everywhere. This office only cares about making money they offered to fix it for a reduced rate! I come here for the amino acid blend shot to aid in weight loss. I can honestly say the clean eating menu provided has helped a great deal and the shot is like an extra boost of energy that keeps me on track. If you pay for a personal trainer you still have to show up and work out right !? You don't just lose weight! Same here you have to eat right and keep active, for me the shot is like a great dose of vitamins, that help with cellular respiration - I am a Nursing student- and it's nice to read the ingredients and know that it's all things our bodies need! I am down 10lbs I still eat 3 meals with snacks and I'm so happy! Darius is great! read more

I recently had a BBL on 05/08. I had great service when I was there for the 2 weeks after the surgery; however, since then my post op care has been abysmal! I was to have my 6 week post op phone appointment on 06/19. I never received a call. I followed up with Yolanda 2 times and left a voicemail message with no return phone call. I then called and spoke to a recovery nurse who took my name and number to give to someone and I have not received a call. I then called again and actually spoke to Yolanda who took my name and number and said that she would give me a call back, I have yet to receive a call. I then placed another call and left a message for management who also have yet to call me back. I'm disgusted by the lack of follow up from the team at Dr. Curves facility. Had I known that my post op care would be sacrificed due to not being a resident of the Atlanta area I would have taken my business elsewhere. For you out of town patients I would re-think your decision to have your work completed here. Unless you are OK with subpar post op follow up. read more

Well let me be the first to leave a lovely rating. His office staff are some peaches, they miss consultations but blame the customer and say it's "IT" issues. It's amusing to me that I now have to wait yet another week to hopefully get a consultation.. Funny you want me to fork over 13K but don't know how to do simple consultations. Dr. Miami is cheaper and so far I haven't had an issue with any consultations. read more

Had surgery November 2019. Lipo is grossly uneven on my abdomen and back. Tummy tuck scar is so high and uneven I hate to look at it. I saw Dr Jimmerson ONCE and that was a few mins before my surgery! He spent 3 mins marking me but not listening. I've not seen him once since the surgery they always have you meet with a "nurse" The after care is horrible. It's truly a chop shop! He wants the money and to rush through as many surgeries as he possibly can. I'm so upset that I didn't take the advice of other reviews. read more

I had a tummy tuck and lipo with Dr.Curves today. I would like to share my journey with all the mothers that's in their 50's. When I first walked in and started my pre-op, there were some issues where I dropped the ball. But Cheryl was a burst of tranquility. She knew what to say bringing me back. I next meet Ms.Barbara Who've I've spoken with a lot throughout this process. She was my biggest cheerleader, keeping me on point and encouraging me and very professional. She helped transition for the surgery dates due to COVID-19. Dr. Curves needs 3 of her! She's that rock. Then there's Lisseth. Breathe of sunshine. Very positive and calming. Her empowerment for women is amazing. There's another nurse I can't recall her name but she's very discipline , knowledgeable and matter-of-fact type nurse. She was very helpful with discussing my future health. Woman to woman sharing health. Then Dr.Curves walks in !!!! This man was so compassionate and patient. Taking the time to talk and getting to know my needs and wants. No concern about the money but more about my health and desires. Very professional. It's hard to find this type of doctor now. Then comes the anesthesiologists, who was amazing. His eyes showed he was favored by GOD. Eyes are the window to the soul. I knew I would be ok with GOD and him. He let me know he had me. After surgery an angel by the name of Taylor appeared. This nurse was so kind, patient, strong and compassionate. Most of the time it's hard to find nurses who will go the extra mile to make sure the patients needs are meet. But she did! Ladies if you didn't think it could get better guess who I have tonight 1 on 1? Nurse Shaye who reminds me of The nurse Florence Nightingale. Dr Curves you got it going on. So to all the ladies in FL if you want to look fabulous come to Dr.Curves!!!! Dr.Curves I would like to thank you for hiring staff that is humble, that put the patients needs first. So I noticed more and more of dr js staff leaving fake google reviews. I had to share my truthful experience due to the sneaky practices of this office. First off I heard great things and trusted this dr. I went paid my fees asked about my tummy tuck and did my research. My blood pressure was high so I had to reschedule but the staff tried charging me! As if I had a choice in the matter! It's a huge red flag when an office tries to penalize you for having to postpone surgery due to health complications that are out of your control. I talked to them and finally they agreed not to charge me due to something that wasn't in my control. Next I came back 3 weeks later for my surgery once my blood pressure was stable. Hunny they tried charging me another $2000 for areas I already paid for! I had my paper and showed them the dr said oh well you were mis quoted on the price but I guess I can do it for another $800. I couldn't believe it I was so upset but fine I pulled out my credit card and paid just to move on with the surgery. Post op I noticed the back areas were not touched at all!! Several areas were lumpy and uneven and I was rushed out of the recovery room while passing out. I called for concerns during recovery and they just said if you feel dizzy go to the hospital! I'm sorry my insurance isn't going to cover that and you did this to me like your office can even look at what's going on?!? Girls take my advice avoid this man he's just after coins. And if you notice more ladies are stepping forward with stories of infection, rushed work, work not being done at all and nearly dying at the hands of this surgeon He couldn't care less about your health so your research ladies look at his recent reviews on realself etc his work has slipped in the past few years he got greedy and can't keep staff on. read more

People do your research and read the low rating reviews. I know we can be desperate on obtaining our goals but if you do it you will get the best results ever. I wanted to do my bbl with Dr. Curves back in 08-18. I was having my nose done with my Ent and called Dr. Curves for the bbl and explained to them of the few facial procedures I was having around the same time. They told me that it was not a problem and to pay the deposit for the surgery to save my surgery date because of their demand. So I paid the $500 deposit and then even went to the office for the preoperative consultation and paid the full procedure. Then after I had paid the full procedure which was 15K they stated that they were not sure they could proceed with my surgery without the Dr. consulting with my Ent. So after they consulted with my Ent they said that the only way they would proceed would be by me signing a paper freeing them from anything happening to me and of course I was not going to do it so they cancelled everything and refunded me the money. However they took over 30 days to give me my money back and kept the $500 deposit and have refused to let me use that money towards other services that they provide. Another heads up; because I've had almost every surgery you can think of from facial to body procedures. It is best if you deal with a Dr. were you can talk to their staff directly instead of a call center like his were you won't even have the chance to meet your Dr. Miami Dr's are less expensive. I eneded up doing my bbl there it cost me less than Dr. Curves including a recovery house where I had several staff members looking after my care.
