I explained this to the Dr. during our consultation and he assured me that he would have no problem treating my husband and even asked me to scheduled my appointments in the late afternoon so that he would be able to spend more time with my husband. Today was our first appointment and the Dr. seemed to not want to be bothered and repeatedly told me that I should get a physical therapist to come to the home. When I was leaving the office, the women at the front desk (who's name I did not get) handed me back my prescription and said to me "good luck cause you're going to need it". I'm completely appalled at the way we were treated today. I guess their services are only good enough for the healthy minded. This kind of behavior is concerning especially in a healthcare setting where patients are already dealing with pain and stress. A more respectful and compassionate environment should be the standard. I also attempted to raise a concern and had difficulty getting clear information about who to speak with. I was not provided with the correct name of the office manager and after I stated I would be contacting corporate, I received multiple follow-up calls that were unnecessary. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are made to improve professionalism and communication within the office.

He showed remarkable empathy for my situation that another doctor caused; a tear in my labrum because of carelessness while I was unconscious. Dr. Abin knew what I was up against in my daily struggles. We discussed anatomy, physiology and various treatment techniques to resolve my issue of pain. His patience was encouraging. Vinny, Monika, Greg, Emily, they are just so caring, patient and knowledgeable. So much personal attention--they watch and make sure you do every exercise right.
