The staff are very attentive to your needs and tailor a program that best fits you and your condition. Don't get me wrong, they'll make you work! However, they do this because they know this is how to rebuild your strength so you can get back to living your life! My therapist regarding my most recent ailments has been Jennifer Brown. Jennifer is great! She knows her stuff and is calm and thoughtful from your condition's initial assessment, throughout the progression of your therapy. I've also received excellent care from the Physical Therapy Assistants at GRPT. Namely, Jen, Julie, Chrsity and Dawn are very special people who always have a great attitude and ensure that patients are performing their exercises correctly to get them going again! I can't say enough good things about the staff at GRPT. I would highly recommend these specialists to my family (my son had therapy on his shoulder at GRPT) and friends! John Payne

After surgery, was in horrific pain for 8-9 months. Called Dr office, and they referred me to pain clinic. Got 2 injections at pain clinic and pain was gone. Then 3 years later am starting to have lower back pain again. My personal Dr ordered MRI and had results sent to Dr Fabi's office. Got appt with his office and when I went to see Dr, saw nurse instead. She told me my back was really bad and that I would need rods in my back. She then went down the hall to talk to Dr who was in his office, and who couldn't take the time to talk to me. He just told his nurse that he could not do the surgery on me and that I would have to have a specialist do the surgery. He couldn't even take the time to come and talk to me. Very poor communication and bad way to treat a patient. I asked the nurse to refer me back to the pain clinic that I had gone to before when I was in pain. I have been going to pain clinic and getting very good help - much more than I can say with Dr Fabi. Will not be going back there.

I moved last November and I had lots of help, but not enough for my back and the very day I finished moving my back was in terrible pain and I was bedridden for months. After a series of traumatic events, Dr Fabi was recommended to me and I was able to get in quite quickly to see him. Pins from first surgery were loose plus he found additional damage. Surgery was again definitely needed. I came out of major surgery and immediately knew I was able to walk again. I'm 70 years old and It's been 3 months now since my surgery, and my back is fantastic ... Something my first surgery never accomplished. In fact, Dr Fabi had to fix the first surgery plus did further surgery needed now and I feel pain but I lay down for awhile and I'm walking everywhere again. No walker, pain pills for one week, and I can't tell you how terrific I feel. I never thought I would be able to walk straight again after so many years but he proved that theory wrong. The office staff is efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. A magnificent surgeon if you have a need. In fact, he told me patients with this type of major surgery he keeps watch of for up to a year and I'm walking really well after 3 months. Thanks so much Dr Fabi ... You are the greatest!!

Took lots of time with me to listen and understand my problems, did X-rays, reviewed all my medical documentation, determined that the cause of my pain is the IM rod in my tibia, was able to give me a detailed and logical explanation for why he could not do surgery to remove the rod, and gave me suggestions for how to manage the pain given that surgery was not an option. Night and day experience. If you need an OS in Lansing, I highly recommend Dr. Waterbrook.
