I happened to have an apt with this provider 2 days later, and wasn't even sure if I should keep it since the ER provider declared me to be fine. However, I felt so terrible I decided to go. Lucky decision on my part! He took one look at me and quickly referred me for an UTS. I don't want to say too much on a public forum like Yelp, but suffice to say I was quickly admitted to the hospital and had surgery 5 days later. Dr Goswami is truly a wonderful caring man. Unfortunately, the office manager was not able to assist me in resolving the issue, and her attitude mirrored the unhelpful and dismissive behavior of the front desk team. A lung disease. I say the abbreviation and the full name and in short Aspergillosis. She types away for a minute then turns the computer toward me asking "is this it?". She had "osteoporosis" on the screen. Yes. Yes, the ole osteoporosis lung disease. Are my leg bones connected to my lung bones? Yes, I know it's not a common disease and hard to spell, but just ask. I would like to think someone working at a pain clinic knows what osteoporosis is and that it's not in fact found in the lungs and doesn't start with any of the letters of ABPA.
