The receptionist was very nice as well as the staff. However, I have heard from several people that they try and push procedures and this is 100% true. I have RA and none of their procedures would work as I'm at the point where my joints need to be replaced. They refused to take over my pain management from my doctor, which makes me think they should have a tagline with their company name "Advanced Pain Management Center (except for pain medicine) and I wouldn't have wasted so much time completing a huge packet of paperwork and the time going there. I guess if procedures could help you then check it out, if you need pain care medication management, look elsewhere! read more

I have been going to Dr Kumar for 4years, I'm so pleased with his knowledge and professionalism and caring for his patients,I have been suffering with lower back pain for 7 to 10 years, Dr Kumar and his staff were very understanding and caring. it's a pleasure to make it to my monthly appointments and sitting down with Andy He has been very helpful and very knowledgeable as well as the whole staff deserving all the credit too! This office, after being a patient of there's for a couple years LIED that I was never a patient of theirs. LIED about me being a patient there. Which ended up making me look like a fool to a new pain management office when I moved. Dr. Kumar is a LIAR, a THIEF & absolutely will not care about your treatment. I will NEVER recommend this office to ANYONE for they truly did no service to me & this office should be shut down. It was like a patient mill in that office. Called the APM office and had no problem making an appointment. I didn't know what to expect and needed relief for ongoing pain. The team was comforting and supportive. The injection treatment that they gave me has dramatically improved my daily life. read more

I was in agony I went to two other places Was told that they could see me but not treat me for at least two weeks Why bother I called Dr Kumar Monday and told his office I was in excruciating pain and I diagnosed it as sciatica He told me to come in the next day His assistant dr saw me and Dr Kumar also came in to see me I said I think I need an epidural And he told me I was correct I said any thing soon He told me he had a cancellation Thursday So I went The people who help you are extremely knowledgeable as well as sympathetic as they see this a lot So as I am getting the epidural I could feel the warm steroid in my back and going down my leg Now the back pain has been relieved to the extent I wasn't crying Now the leg pain to my toes still hurt for a few days But the more I exercised the better I felt Still believe I need to go to PT as I was bedridden for four weeks As it was too painful to even move Now six weeks and no back pain and the leg pain is getting better as well Thank you Dr Kumar and your team No pain killers no nothing except a doctor who knows how to treat his patients Thank you read more

Anil Kumar, MD, worst Doctor I have ever experienced. All he was interested in was surgery with next to know no explanation. He was harsh and blamed every single health issue on weight. Barely knew me and told the secretary to set me up for surgery. I was very unhappy with this doctor and would not recommend him to anyone. Was making an issue that I did not even have and did not listen to what I had to say. read more

I will continue to see him and would refer him with no reservations because he is VERY knowledgeable in what a patient is experiencing on an individual level and I felt safe. Made an appointment online last week. Took time off of work. Filled out the new patient paperwork. Called today to confirm. Was told "yeah, the online system doesn't work, I'm not sure why we have it. We wouldn't have seen you at that time anyway." Yikes. A poor experience for sure that has led me to choose another facility as they do not appear to put much into the experience of their patients, particularly first-timers. read more

What a wonderful group of caregivers. Never a long wait. Yesterday I thought I had an appointment. Turns out I didn't. Did they send me away? No, they fit me in and Dr. Kumar did not rush. I feel safe here and am comfortable in their knowledge of my body and related problems. When speaking with Dr. Kumar I am so confident in his level of knowledge. He's quite a guy. Thus far, some of the injections have worked wonderfully. There is not one thing negative I can say about this practice. read more

Doctor told me to find a new doctor in Florida..actually told me to coherse another doctor..they asked me to write that review..then 3 days before Christmas 2018 they dropped me..I went to Baptist where they haven't received my medical records and turns out I've got more going on that will need 2 risky surgurys on my neck and 2 on my back..just out for your money..got so many procedures there..and after 2 years I still get bills. read more

I made an appointment online and I specifically states I was interested in PRP therapy for my back. I also stated that I have 2 herniated disk, L4 and L5 that I wanted treated. No one from the office called me. I just received a text confirming I would be at the appointment. My appointment was at 1:00 pm. Upon arriving I noticed the reception area was dirty. Most of the cloth chairs were soiled and stained. The blind had stains on it as well. I was then handed a "packet" to fill out my information. It was about 10 pages. It was close to 2pm and still not seen. I asked reception why I hadn't been seen yet and she said they have you come in early to fill out the packet and I did mine quick she said. She said I would be called to take my vitals and then after that come back out to waiting room and then I would finally be called after that. They called me in and asked for a urine sample?? Why?? The person who asked me couldn't explain. then she took my blood pressure. Back out to the waiting room. I was then called in to see the doctor. Sat down with him and stated right off I was interested in PRP therapy for my back. He then proceeded to ask me health questions. He then asked me to change into a johnny so he could examine me. He came back into the room and did an exam. After the exam he sat down and said he does not do PRP therapy in the back. He doesn't have the experience. I asked then why am I even here.He said he can offer me other services. I asked, what would you do for me that my current neurologist is not doing. He replied, fewer injections?? I need all the injections I can get. Two and a half hours wasted!! I do not know why I was even given an appointment with them knowing what I was looking for but couldn't even provide. Then the doctor going through the motions and wasting my time only to tell he he doesn't do the procedure I was looking for. By the way, they advertise that they perform the PRP therapy there. I feel violated and scammed. I will be calling my insurance company to let them know not to pay for that visit. As far as myself, I got taken for $25.00 and 2.5 hours of my life that I will never get back. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not do business with this place. I'm a nervous person so when I first came to a new place I didn't know what to expect and then I had the pleasure of meeting with the receptionist Amanda who is always sweet kind and willing to do whatever to accommodate your needs I've never seen her not happy or smiling she is always willing to work with you and your schedule she is an absolute doll and was soooo kind to me after my father's passing she puts me at ease I have also had the pleasure of having wonderful nurses especially Alicia and Sakara every time I speak with them I feel so supported and such compassion from them I'm an extremely nervous person and every time I leave them I feel so supported they could not be any more compassionate and kind they are such AMAZING KIND people the doctors are also very efficient and understanding and supportive I highly recommend this place read more

A total waste of time. I wouldn't take my dog there. I was there for a screening for a medical marijuana card. I filled out 9 pages of medical history and insurance info. Then gave a urine sample. Next was about a 15 minute interview with a nurse practitioner. The line of questioning (pain related and a history of what I'd tried for pain relief in the past) seemed appropriate for what I was there for. Following that she went and got Dr. Kumar. His line of questioning had nothing to do with pain management. It seemed he was trying to give me a second evaluation of my back. I'd brought the last MRI results with me and had been evaluated by a surgeon whose advice was to deal with the pain for as long as possible before considering operating. Dr. Kumar had me take off my shoes, socks and pants to test my reflexes. He then said "I'don't think I need another MRI but I want you to come back with the records of previous epidural shots (Dr. Viesman) and my surgeons records (7 years previous) What in the world does any of that have to do with pain management? read more

Was a patient for a long time. Waits were horrible and long. Billing staff nasty. Seemed like money was the only important thing, not my comfort or well being. Switched to another pain clinic. Nobody needs to wait 3 hours and be insulted and treated badly. read more

Although I am a long time patient and I continue to go here, I do not recommend it. I go only because it is convenient. The primary receptionist is condescending. They have the gall to demand that you be no more than 10 minutes late, but it is not unusual for patients to wait 2 hours for their appointment. Imagine the tension in the waiting room. I have actually been concerned for my own safety due to the anger of patients being forced to wait so long. In my opinion, Dr. Kumar is an egomaniac. He is only interested in the patients as a revenue source. He recommends expensive injection treatments even if they have been unsuccessful in the past. However, if you are fortunate enough to meet Dr. Mousad you will be very pleased. He is the kindest MD I have ever met. He is extremely skilled and professional. You can request an initial appointment with him but do not expect to see him often. read more
