Doctor was very caring and thorough. However office staff totally incompetent, inefficient and rude. They will test your patience.

Dr Crowe did a great job in putting tubes in my 2 Year olds ears. Follow up appointments have been great and I have no complaints!

A few days before my appointment, I received an appointment reminder text, telling me my appointment was with Dr Rosenthal's PA. I needed to see a doctor not a PA, as I was seeking a second opinion. I called the office and left a message but no one called me back after a couple days. So, I went into the office. The staff was not in any way friendly. I was able to change my appointment but had to wait almost 2 months. The big day finally arrived, I went in for my appointment. Dr Rosenthal entered the examination room and appeared scattered and rushed. He addressed me and I asked him if he had read the clinical notes from my other doctor. ( I could not even make an appointment without Dr. Rosenthal first receiving the notes from the other doctor). He told me no and said, "there's clinical notes, we did not receive any clinical notes". Total lie. After his assistant finally pulled up the notes, he looked over them super fast and then looked into my ears. He then looked into my mouth and within 2 seconds, told me I had TMJ and said to go to my dentist. I explained to him I was having symptoms that cannot be explained by this diagnoses. He did not care and rushed out of the room. Total ass. Charged me $320. What a farce. So, I went to my dentist. Same dentist I've been going to for over 10 years. No TMJ. Just another doctor that cares more about the prestige of being a doctor than the patients he sees.

Received zero help over 3 months trying tirelessly. I have verified imaged X-rays and MRIs from Maui memorial and diagnostic imaging of fractures and mris of herniations from these past months as well. Through all the visits and copays and insurance premiums received ZERO TREATMENT. The owner "Dr Yee" and directors like Joel Krause are profiting millions per year plus bonuses and stock options and insider trading. Doctor Daley informed me they are "bound by contracts" to give certain types of care. He said he wishes he could help me but that's not how the system works. I thanked him for his honesty at least and begged him to please just help me get a cast for my fractured wrist and parasite medication. He told me I could order a cast on Amazon. He gaslit me about having parasites. The lab destroyed my specimen and urine samples after waiting for results. It's also very difficult for me to keep going back and forth to a ridiculous amount of appointments when I could be simply helped the first time. I'm just trying to receive help. I'm paying for insurance already, paying for these visits on top of it as well so what am I paying for? That's their game. Delay, deny, depose. Or they will milk you for insurance payments to pay their HMSA CEOs and directors like Mark mugiishi, Janna nakagawa, and Joel Krause. Just look how much money these folks r paid. And think about what you deal with when you try and get care. And they aren't paying the receptionist or other workers any of it either. They r in the same boat as the patients. Being used and abused. I'd like to further state MY INTENTION is to just get treated for my injuries and illness and be well. And to spread awareness about the imbalance of wages for health care employees so everyone is compensated and treated more fairly. Completely non violent. You're welcome. Jesus loves you. Friendly staff, huge waiting room, and the process moved along smoothly. Asked if X-rays were wanted, and a simple answer of yes resulted in X-rays within 10 minutes. Soon Dr. Spencer Chun met with us and showed the X-rays... go home or go big, the X-rays clearly showed a piece of bone broken off and sitting next to the rest of the bone... not good. The 3 of us shared some laughs, and the game plan is to wear a fashion forward "shoe" and follow up upon returning to the contiguous 48 states. The pharmacy was equally efficient. I had a list of things I wanted to talk with them about. Rennia Cabal-Amisola MD walks in and I begin to tell her about what's going on and the issues I've been experiencing. She brushed off everything I was concerned about and was walking out the door while I was still expressing my concerns. She didn't care about my health problems nor did she want to help me feel better. She seemed annoyed every time I brought up an issue I've been having. When I would ask if there's anything we could do about it she said no. But when I pressed her she said yes, but what you're experiencing doesn't justify care. Maybe if I was dying she would help. Will be trying a new doctor on my next visit. Wondering if anyone has experienced this with Rennia Cabal-Amisola MD? or maybe she doesn't specialize in General health medicine?

I highly recommend Dr Casey and Heather Milovina - they are both incredible, so competent and skilled and kind. Out of the 6 providers, I felt totally comfortable with 5 out of 6 of them - which is pretty great! I gave birth a few weeks ago and had a very positive experience thanks to the wonderful people at Malama. Dr Casey was my doctor who delivered my baby, and I felt 100% confident and comfortable with him, knowing I was in great hands. Heather was there the next day, which was great, because I was seeing her the most during my prenatal visits (she is an incredible midwife), and she has a wonderful presence about her - she cares so much about her patients, and you feel completely comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Malama if you are pregnant, I think they are the best on the island as far as prenatal care and caring about women's birth experiences.

There was an initial issue where I was given the wrong knee brace, largely due to limited weekend staffing and early closures. I want to be very clear: this was not a failure of the nurses or frontline staff. They were professional, kind, and clearly stretched thin. They are human beings working under real constraints, and they still showed up with care and respect. Dr. Heffner did an excellent job on my knee, and I'm confident in the surgical outcome. My primary care team was communicative and supportive, and the nurses consistently treated me with compassion despite obvious workload pressures. What stood out most to me, however, is a deeper systemic problem. The people who actually deliver care--doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff--are under-resourced, while executive and administrative compensation appears disproportionately high. When staffing shortages exist in critical patient-facing roles, that isn't a frontline issue; it's a leadership and resource-allocation issue. If more of Kaiser's collective funds were directed toward hiring and fairly paying the professionals who provide direct care--instead of being concentrated at the executive level--patients would receive better, safer, and more timely treatment. Better staffing means fewer mistakes, less burnout, and better outcomes for everyone. The people on the ground are doing their best with what they're given. They deserve stronger backing from the top. I'm grateful for the care I received, and I genuinely believe Kaiser has the ability to be much better if leadership priorities were aligned with patient care rather than administrative excess. Thank you to the medical professionals who showed up for me. You deserve more support than you're currently being given.
