I had my first session with Mark yesterday for chronic hip and neck/shoulder pain. His manipulation and deep tissue techniques offered a whole new approach to the many failed massages, chiro, and acupuncture treatments I've had over the years searching for relief. Hard to find the words. Just had my first session with Mark yesterday. The amount of relief/release I experienced from just one session is incredible. Mark is the man, he knows his stuff and can read the body like no one I've ever seen, straight to the point. Saw Mark this week for a problematic area around and above left knee that occurred three years ago. Had seen 3-4 others who helped some but strain still there. He really worked on many areas from the left hip down to the knee finally releasing and smoothing out the tension. Also freed up the leg down to the heel. Didn't realize how tight the achilles had become! Also worked on the neck. Mark really gets in there where he needs to go for results, so don't expect he'll be so gentle, though he does want you to tell him anytime the pressure is too much! I really needed help with my lower back. The pain had started shooting up to my right neck and shoulder area as well as down my leg. Acupuncture, chiropracty, Advil...nothing could touch the deep pain in my lower back. That is, until I had an appointment with Mark. His hands almost magically knew which aching part of my body was attached to the next aching part of my body. As someone else has posted, this is not a gentle "feel good" spa massage.
