My school did not have student practice like this one but I wish it did! I have been having trouble with my hips this week and I haven't found a therapist I've liked. I need therapeutic help! I was thinking about how in school we would just practice the therapeutic techniques on each other and I wished I could go back....so I thought why not! I googled student massages and found this one. I didn't know what to expect really but it was only $35 for 50 mins, so why not try. The building is easy to find. The office door is locked and they have to let you in. You have to pre pay and fill out an intake form. Your therapist will take you to their "cubicle" which are curtain walled rooms, a massage table, and a chair to put your items down. Admittedly but feels a little funny getting undressed in these curtain walls. I knew no one could see me but anyone could just pull it back I suppose. The massage was actually excellent! I got just what I wanted, a therapeutic target on my issues. Thank you Kabrina! Afterwards she brought me water and I was dizzy walking up to the desk. After the massage you are to fill out an evaluation form and provide feedback. This is amazing for student therapists! Please fill it out as much as you can! No tipping here for the service so please provide feedback. I will be back in two weeks

When I do go, not only do I feel completely listened to and considered, but it is a relaxing environment and ambiance, good convo when we're able, and in the end, a great relief to whatever is ailing me. No joke, the experience can be intense and is definitely a good-hurt experience at times, but as long as your communication is clear, Rico always listens. He has helped me with my bad knee, my back, my messed up shoulder (that we're still working on from being a life-long side sleeper) and even my newest foot issues. He works to relieve what he can, and he gives tips for caring and building a stronger body after and educates as to why the problem persists. This truly is a place of healing and longevity. For 16 years she suffered increasingly bad sciatic pains associated with scoliosis, until she could barely walk a few steps without being wracked by sharp pains. MDs, PTs, MTs, and acupuncturists had all given up on her. After moving back to NY I worked on her using what Michael taught me. Within 2 months Mom was walking for over an hour at a time.
